“Sai.... Sai promised he would get rid of the child inside of you!” Everyone in the room stared in shock at Sakura's words, Sakura's eyes darkened towards the child, her body becoming rigid and shook with rage, her eyes showed murderous intent upon the four year old child

“the hell do you mean!?” Sasuke was the first to speak, the first to come over the initial shock of Sakura's words, Sakura's eyes shot towards Sakura, they softened, a small blush forming upon her face

“It was for you Sasuke! For us....”

“What did you do Sakura!?” Sakura's brows pulled together, her bottom lip pushed out and quivered a bit in a slight pout at Sasuke's booming voice, Sasuke sighed pulling his hands to his eyes, rubbing them roughly, he really didn't want to play this game, but it looked to be the only way to get answers from the woman.

Slowly Sasuke knelt towards Sakura, he ran his fingers along her cheek bone, and down along her jaw line, a soft kind smile played upon his lips, his eyes softened for her, his fingers danced along her collar bone, he could feel her heart beat begin to race, he could see her cheeks turning a dark shade of red

“What did you do for us Sakura?” Sakura's self restraint gave in, her eyes drooped in pure bliss, her head tilted into Sasuke's hand, enjoying the affection he was giving her

“I told Sai to get rid of the baby and Naruto.... So we could be together...” Sasuke felt himself twitch, he kept himself restrained from harming the woman, he continued the false loving touches and soothing voices towards the woman

“How did you know?”

“N-Naruto came to see me before he left... He was almost two weeks along.... I... I knew with a baby you'd never come to me... I knew with a baby Naruto had you pulled into a trap, so I told Sai to get rid of Naruto, and to get rid of the child.... S-so that way you would be free to come to me... To marry me” Sasuke felt his body shake, his eyes narrowed towards the woman

“You knew Naruto was pregnant... You didn't tell him... Or anyone?”

“Oh gods no! If Naruto knew he never would have went on that mission with us! And if anyone else knew... Well they'd have had me and Sai in questioning in Naruto's disappearance... Sasuke it was for us... So we could be togeth-” Sakura's words were cut off, Sasuke watched eyes wide in shock as Naruto sat upon the woman's lap, his hands gripping around her neck tightly, his zircon blue eyes wide with rage and loathe

“Naruto stop!” Sasuke reached for his lover pulling the blonde's shoulder back

“No! You heard her! She knew! She knew I as pregnant! She knew it! And yet she... She did this because....” Naruto's hands tightened around the woman's neck, cutting off all air and blood flow, Sakura's hand weakly clawed at the hands around her neck, in a futile attempt to remove the hands from around her neck, in an attempt to gain air

“Naruto... Its not worth it!.... She is not worth it.... Stop....” Naruto's eyes filled with tears, he watched as Sakura's face went pale, he felt her scratching weaken, his hands pulled away slowly

“She tried to kill my baby.... She tried to....” Naruto's body tensed feeling the small pair of arms enclose around him, he felt Takeo's face press into his back

“she tried Naruto.... But she failed” Naruto's eyes glanced back towards Takeo, he felt himself shake before he pulled himself off the woman, pulling his child close he held his son close, sobbing softly into the child's shoulder and neck, Takeo ran his hands through his mothers blonde hair, a small blush upon his face

“Ma... Ta' hewe!” Sasuke looked towards Tsunade, a dark and dangerous glare directed towards her

“I expect that to have been her confess... And I want her dealt with the same way we deal with all traitors” Tsunade's glare matched Sasuke, she stood up slowly stepping towards the door

“You mean the way MOST traitors are treated.... Kiba... Bring Sakura to my office” Kiba picked the pink haired woman's body up, he stepped towards the door following the Hokage out

It had been two days, two days since Naruto's return, two days since the punishment and death of Sai, and the imprisonment of Sakura.

The ex-medic nin was imprisoned, and awaiting her execution, her crimes: betrayal of a teammate, attempted murder of a Konoha nin.

It had been two days, those zircon eyes refused to look towards any of his visitors, his shame pulled him into a dark abyss.

It was late, the clock upon the wall showed it was nearly three in the morning, and Sasuke was having trouble sleeping, he couldn't sleep, Naruto was still at the hospital, and in no mental state to be leaving anytime soon.

The feeling of loosing Naruto forever was hard, but knowing the blonde was back, yet unable to come home yet, was a feeling he was unused to, and a feeling he did not enjoy at all, with a loud groan he pulled the blankets off himself, and pulled his feet out of bed, onyx black eyes stared towards the wall in irritation, he wouldn't be getting any sleep tonight, slowly he pulled himself out of bed, and got himself dressed, and stepped out of his room, and down the hall towards the front door.

Having Naruto so close yet so far bothered the Uchiha, and he found himself unable to sleep, not without Naruto, he needed his lover within his reach.

He darted along the roof tops, not making a sound, his eyes locked onto the building ahead of him, the hospital, he would sneak in, hide himself in the shadows and watch over Naruto, and before the blonde awake he would leave, leave before anyone caught him, it was a perfect plan, he would get to be close to Naruto, a feeling he longed for, and he wouldn't look creepy to anyone sneaking into the hospital after visiting hours were over.

He jumped from the rooftops towards Naruto's room window, he lifted it open and pulled himself inside, turning his head towards the bed, his body tensed, his eyes widened upon seeing zircon eyes staring back at him

“Sasuke....?” Sasuke felt his body droop, he was relaxed being so close to Naruto, he felt tired, the lack of sleep in two days finally catching up with his body and mind, he stepped towards the bed, but stopped himself, he stared towards Naruto, and Takeo sleeping upon his mothers lap, Naruto sat up right on the bed his fingers running through the child's golden blonde hair, Sasuke's guilt began to bubble inside him, he shook his tears welling up

“Naruto....” Zircon blue stared in confusion at Sasuke's tearing eyes, he watched as the Uchiha fell to his knees tears running down his cheeks

“S-Sasuke!? Whats wrong?!” He asked in a hushed worried tone, his eyes wide watching as the raven haired man broke down

“I'm sorry... I'm sorry Naruto.... Its my fault....” Naruto's brows pushed together in confusion, worried crossed him, wondering if someone had disguised them selves as Sasuke, because the Sasuke Uchiha he knew never broke down like that, the man never showed weakness like that in front of anyone

“F-for what?”

“I... I should have gone with you... I should have told Tsunade to let me go on that damn mission... It was my fault...” Naruto felt his heart skip a beat, it was Sasuke, this wasn't someone trying to get close to him, it really was Sasuke, and the man really was breaking down

“Sasuke... Its not your fault... No one but Sai and Sakura knew what was going to happen... Its fine” Naruto shook his head, before turning his eyes towards Takeo rubbing the child's back slowly, to sooth him into a deep sleep

“I'm the one who should be sorry Sasuke...”

“Why should...”

“I willingly left you.... My village... My friends... All for a chance to forget the rape...” Sasuke's body tensed again

“You.... You willingly... Gave up your memories....?” Naruto's head bobbed slowly, his eyes becoming distant staring at the child in his lap, not able to make eye contact with the Uchiha, Sasuke felt his anger boil inside, a sudden memory hit him, he relaxed himself, his eyes shot towards the window, a sudden swell of shame washing over him

“Guess it makes us even.... I left this village for longer then you.... I left you.... I left everything,... All for a chance to kill my brother.... And yet... when I came back... you welcomed me with open arms.... I can't be mad.... I won't be mad at you Naruto.... This makes us even....” Naruto's tear filled eyes glanced towards the Uchiha, a small blush upon his cheeks

“Even?” Sasuke pulled himself to his feet, he stepped towards Naruto sitting beside the blonde on his bed, a small smile upon his lips, as tears began to prickle the sides of his eyes, he never liked to show weakness, and to him crying was a weakness, but he allowed himself this one night to cry, it wasn't tears of sorrow unlike the ones he wanted to shed four years ago, these tears were tears of joy, his lover was back, and with him, a child of the Uchiha blood lines

Tsunade stared in the room, her brow rose slightly, her lips twisted into a pleased smirk as he stared towards Naruto's bed, Naruto laid still, his breathing even and steady, his eyes closed as he slept, the first time he had slept since the Sakura confession, upon the blonde's chest laid the smaller mirror image of him, Takeo's left hand gripped his mother's hospital gown, and his left hand gripped the shirt of the intruder laying beside Naruto.

Sasuke had finally found himself sleep, laying beside his lover on the small one person hospital bed, Tsunade shook her head before stepping out of the room a smile upon her lips, her eyes met Iruka's own chocolate brown eyes, she rose her hand to stop him and Kakashi, a small laugh escaping her lips

“Give them a few minutes longer of sleep, god knows they all need it after all this” Iruka's brow rose in confusion, and both men watched as the Hokage walked off down the hall.

Sasuke's eyes opened slowly, as the sunlight shown in through the window, he pulled his face closer to the body beside him, and inhaled deeply, a small smile spreading upon his lips, his eyes closed again, Naruto was home, Naruto was safe.

Before sleep over took him again, he promised himself, and Naruto, nothing was going to happen to the Kyuubi vessel again...

He would make sure of that
