“Naruto... I think it would be Namikaze... at least that’s what his bastard father’s name is... You know, the mayor; Minato Namikaze... I need to know where he lives and any other properties he has in the city.” Sasuke didn’t bother driving any further, he had nowhere to go yet and he really didn’t want to get in an accident while talking on his phone and driving, what use would he be then?

“Let me get this straight… You want me to dig up dirt on the Mayor? You said this Naruto’s life is in danger. Explain.” As he waited, Sai opened his laptop and pulled up a search engine. The sound of his fingers flying over the key’s transmitted through the phone.

Sasuke gave an aggravated sigh but continued his explanation. “It’s a long story about how Naruto and I met but in the end we ended up dating... Naruto had run away from home because his asshole of a father is an abusive prick who not only hits Naruto but also sexually molests him as well. He threatened Naruto that he’d take him from me and sure enough... Just find him...”

“Sasuke… Even if I can find out where he lives, there is nothing you can do unless I dig up something criminal – proof of what you say. You are a lawyer, you know how that works. Let me do my thing. I will call you as soon as I know something… And just so you are aware, your little lover’s name is Uzumaki, not Namikaze.” Without another word, Sai snapped his phone shut and stood, gathering everything he would need to begin his search.

Sasuke let his phone drop to the passenger’s seat after Sai had hung up and was at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. He knew he would have to get some pretty convincing evidence to get Naruto out of his father’s care but... would Minato even take that risk?

Not knowing what else he could do at the moment he decided to go home and pick up a few things before heading out again. He really didn’t want to be in the condo by himself and was planning on taking his laptop to some public place with internet access; at least he could keep himself busy.

The following day found Sai once again sitting in his desk propped back in his chair. The barest of frowns lit his face as he continued to type on his laptop. It had only taken him half a day to find out exactly where Minato lived – some big mansion just outside town – and upon calling up a few of his contacts, he’d found out some very interesting information. Now if only he could figure out the code…

An hour passed, and he sat there the entire time typing in different words and letter/number combinations. Consulting his notes one more time, an idea struck. He typed in ‘Kushina’, followed by different numbers, and eventually…

Grabbing his cell, he scrolled through his contacts until he found the person he wanted. Dialing the number, he didn’t even bother with a greeting as a voice answered on the other end. “I have something you need to see. Now.”

Sasuke had been huddled in his bed that morning when he received the call from Sai and practically tore his room apart, getting clothes on and running out the door, not even bothering with shoes. He drove as fast as he could, praying he didn’t get pulled over and parked with a loud screech of tires in front of the office building where Sai’s office was located.

Pulling on some shoes he had kept in his car for some odd reason, he quickly made his way into the building and up to the 11th floor where he briskly walked down the hall like he owned the place and headed straight into the man’s office.

“Did you find him? Is he ok? Where is he?” Sasuke rounded the desk and looked over Sai’s shoulder at the computer screen, not seeing anything. “What the fuck is this!? you told me I had to see something... Well!?”

Sai turned to look at Sasuke. He just stared, his dark eyes boring into the Uchiha’s for a few long minutes. “Do you think I would call you here if I had nothing? Sit.” He pulled a chair up beside his and waited until Sasuke had seated himself before continuing.

“I know where he is. The security in Namikaze’s house is top notch – there is no way you could have gotten in there. You would not have made it past the gate. Luckily, Mr. Namikaze seems to be a little… paranoid.”

He clicked on the task bar and a window popped up. A live stream played, enlarged by Sai. It showed a bedroom, illuminated by a single lamp. A king sized bed was centered and in it laid a young blond. He was lying on his back, and through the high-tech camera, the bruises all over his body were visible. Naruto seemed to be sleeping, and looked to be alone.

“He has cameras all over his house, in every room. I was able to hack into them... I meant it when I said he was paranoid. However, I think this is better. We can watch everything… and if something criminal happens we can record it…”

Sasuke was barely listening as he watched his boyfriend on the screen. The bruises looked bad even from where he was seeing them and he had a few new cuts as well. His mind raced, wanting so badly to just get into that house and take him away... but like Sai said, it would probably have been a waste of time.

He watched intently as the door opened and the older blonde stepped in. He walked slowly at first and sat down on the bed next to Naruto, his hand resting on the blonde’s shoulder.

Sasuke clenched his teeth at seeing Minato touch the teen. He felt bile rise to his throat and burn as he forced it back down. Then he saw the older man’s hand draw back and a harsh hit was delivered to Naruto’s spine, the sound reverberating through the room, making Sasuke jump.

Naruto’s eyes snapped open and he cried out in pain, his entire body seizing up. He panted for breath, turning his head to see Minato sitting there… He didn’t bother asking why he’d been hit. There was no reason to. His father was insane, he was sure of it now.

“Can’t you at least give me a break?” the younger blond snapped. He hadn’t had one since the day before when he’d passed out.

Naruto winced and whimpered, having no choice but to sit up under the harsh grip. He wrapped his arms around himself, as though trying to protect. It didn’t help at all. “No, not really…. What kind of fun are you talking about?” he asked nervously, scooting away from his father.

Grabbing the front of the sweatshirt the teen was wearing, Minato harshly tugged on either side of the hood, effectively ripping a giant tear down the front of the garment. “You’re a slut... you should know exactly what I mean... take the rest of it off... now.” The older blonde stood back, just watching.

Sasuke sat there, numb and cold. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Naruto was strong... he wouldn’t give in... he just knew he wouldn’t.

Naruto stared blankly down at the torn sweatshirt, reaching up to gently touch it with the tips of his fingers. The Uchiha symbol that spread across the chest was torn in half. It was the same sweatshirt he’d borrowed from Sasuke – the one he loved. And now it was ruined.

Anger surged through his body. He raised his gaze and met Minato’s, his own blue orbs gleaming furiously. “No, I won’t,” he answered coolly. “Maybe I am a slut, but I’m Sasuke’s. I won’t be yours.”

Standing still for a moment, Minato said nothing. Then, faster than Naruto could react, a knee was shoved hard straight down onto the flat stomach creating what would soon be another nasty bruise, perhaps even a few broken ribs. “I said take your fucking clothes off! I won’t ask you again!”

The raven watching through the computer screen felt tears freely pouring down his face unchecked. He didn’t care if Sai saw them; he was in too much pain for his lover to care what anyone thought of him.

“Why isn’t anyone doing anything?” His voice was a mere whisper as he tried to look toward Sai but found his head paralyzed. “Why isn’t anyone stopping him?”

Sai turned and looked at Sasuke, sliding a box of tissues across the desk. “We are probably the only ones who have ever seen it. Minato Namikaze is a god – everyone worships him. Nobody will believe him capable of anything like this, which is why we need hard proof if we are going to save Naruto. And we are going to.”

He laid his hand on the Uchiha’s shoulder and tugged gently. “Perhaps you should not watch this. I imagine it must be painful seeing someone you care about suffer like that. I can keep you updated, if you would like.”

Sasuke pulled away harshly. “Don’t fucking touch me...? I want to stay...” He couldn’t explain why he felt the need to torture himself with this. The only reason he could think of was that he needed to see... If he left... something even more horrible could happen.

Minato smiled as he saw his son’s body revealed to him, satisfied at the dark bruises and cuts that littered the tan body. Defeated, he lay still for an indiscernible amount of time, breathing in shallow, painful gasps. Blood leaked from the corner of his lips and his head swam. Black rimmed his vision, slowly sweeping inwards. His eyes were beginning to close. He couldn’t keep them open and he couldn’t even lift his head as he heard doors slamming and shouting, and feet pounding on the stairs. As the door to the bedroom opened, he managed to turn his head a little. A body silhouetted in front of the blaring light in the hallway… It was probably his father, come back to finish him off.

Sasuke watched as a man probably around mid-fifties rushed in bringing three EMT’s with him. The three EMT’s went to work, quickly doing their best to stabilize Naruto for transport. He clearly heard the man speaking softly to Naruto, he sounded like he knew him well. He couldn’t tell exactly what he was saying but he could clearly see the caring in the man’s eyes. It wasn’t long before Naruto was placed on a gurney and wheeled out of the room.

Quickly, Sasuke stood and headed for the door. “What hospital?” was all he asked, not even bothering to look at Sai, too quick to get to his car.

“Konoha,” Sai answered, slumping into his chair as Sasuke rushed from the room. He switched cameras and watched as Minato was led from the house in handcuffs. There were reporters everywhere, which was good. The more exposure they had with this, the more likely he would be put behind bars. Nobody liked child molesters.
