Gaara snuggled into his side then lifted his arm up to look at it. "It... doesn't hurt..should we check it?" He asked and sat up on his other arm and gave a worried look.

"U-Um... That does not sound good so yes.." The older male then pulled the blanket over himself feeling embarrassed for being exposed before he sat up and gently started to pull off Gaara's bandages. However he froze when he looked at it. The bite was healing, it wasn't worse, in fact, it looked better than it had before. "W...what?"

Gaara's eyes widened and he tilted his head. "Lee...I thought I would be getting worse..I should be dieing.." He said and then felt around and picked up his boxers and frown since he needed both arms to pull them on. After thinking for a moment he looked back at the older male. "Lee..how do I look right now?" He asked blinking.

It had been the first time Lee looked back up to Gaara's face after they had started since Gaara kept his eyes closed and he froze. "Um.. Gaara-kun.. your eyes is.. gold.. can you see out of it..?" Lee asked leaning in closer to the boy, looking him up and down. "but other than that you look fine.." He said in a soft tone.

Gaara tilted his head and lifted a and and rubbed at his eyes. "One is gold? Like bright gold or just a little?" He asked then paused and looked at his boyfriend. "Lee-kun...think of what you just said...I look fine..when I had been coughing blood up before..and I don't...feel sick anymore.." He said and felt his heart start to race. 'W-What if..I'm going to b-be ok??'

"I-it is fully gold... and.. that means... are you going to be okay?!" Lee asked and he practically tackled his boyfriend back down to the bed, hugging him tightly and nuzzling his head into Gaara's head. "YAY! This is.. this is amazing! Wait.. does that mean.. do you have the cure???"

"L-Lee w-whoa!" Gaara blushed deeply at being hugged so tightly and returned it, his strength slowly starting to come back. "What do you mean the cure?" He jumped when suddenly the bedroom door was thrown open. "Is Gaara o..k?" Naruto turned red then quickly turned around. "S-Sorry!" He yelled and Gaara turned red as well and hide behind his boyfriend. "I-I'll wait out h-here!" Naruto said shutting the door.

Lee turned dark red and he got off of Gaara and changed into his clothes. "U-uh.. I will change you after I talk to him," Lee said grabbing his shirt. Then he walked out the door while pulling the shirt on, "Uh.. Hey Naruto did you find a way out...?" he asked and then he blinked when he heard a squeak and Kiko pulled herself into the window then blinked. "Hey, Naruto why are you red?" She asked brushing her pants off then moving over to him.

Naruto waved his hands and sweat dropped. "I-It's nothing!" He said then turned around and gave Lee a tight hug. "Kiko and I came back..I couldn't take not knowing how you guys were doing, is there anyway we can bring Gaara and you back with us? Everyone is waiting at this base." He said and let go of him and stepped back, glancing at the door.

"Oh um.. okay give me a minute," Lee said then he went back into the room and changed Gaara, but when he brought him out, Gaara was not wearing the chains and Lee was stuffing them in a bag. "Um but.. Gaara is... whoa.. yours eyes..." Kiko blinked and she hid behind Naruto a little. "Is it safe not to have him chained up?"

Gaara lent on a Lee a little still feeling a bit weak and was struggling with the wrappings on his arm. Naruto blinked and walked over and started to help him only to stop seeing the wound. "Your...healing?? How is that possible?...I was expecting the worst when I came back here..you still look weak but your not super pale..you look healthy." He said and hugged his best friend close and didn't bother with stopping his tears. Gaara smiled and hugged him back. "I'm not in any pain anymore..just really tired." Gaara replied and then pulled back and leaned into his boyfriend again. Naruto grinned and helped wrap up his arm again then moved next to Kiko.

Kiko blinked and she tilted her head a little, "So you are.. okay?" She asked and Lee nodded for Gaara. "He is alright, and I will bring the chains just in case," He said then gently he kissed Gaara. "Come on.. you can still move pretty quick even though you are tired right?" he asked, rubbing Gaara's back lightly. 'Gah.. not the best time to have had sex with him! He is tired and probably sore now..'

Gaara blushed and shyly hugged his boyfriend then blinked looking at the cat carrier in the corner but didn't see the cat inside. "Where did that cat go?" He asked. Naruto shrugged then walked over to the couple. "Hey I can carry redhead on my back, that would help." He said grinning.

"Yeah thank you Naruto.. and where did it go..? I have not seen it in awhile.." He muttered but then jumped when a meow came from a vent behind him and he looked over to see the kitten coming out of it. "He little guy, come here.." Kiko said softly and she smiled moving over and picking up the kitten. "Come on, we should get going before light," she added looking at them.

"Just put him in the carrier.." Gaara said then looked out the window and frowned a little. Naruto walked over to him and lead him outside, he helped him down the ladder then both looked up. "Toss down some stuff." Naruto called, glad to see no zombies around at the moment. Naruto picked up Gaara on his back and looped his arms under his knees. "So..what does this mean if your ok?" He asked and looked up at Lee.

Kiko was unwilling to put the kitten in the carrier, so she grabbed a small backpack and put the kitten in it, happy to see it curled up and began to purr falling asleep. Then she grabbed some bags and tossed them down before going down the ladder and grabbing a few that she could carry. "Come on Lee," She said and the older male sighed and then jumped down a little worried about leaving. "Alright, come on," He said grabbing a bag as well.

Gaara wrapped his arms around Naruto's neck and rested his forehead on his arm, he was feeling really weak again. 'I wonder if Lee would carry me later..' He thought blushing faintly then looked down at the straps on him making sure his knife and gun were there. "Alright! Let's go." Naruto said and picked up one of the bags. "Hehe good thing your so light redhead." He said playfully then started walking.

Lee blinked and frowned just a little looking at Gaara. 'I should have offered to carry him...' He thought but shook it off and he started to follow Naruto watching the back of the group to make sure they were okay. After about an hour though he stopped looking at a zombie that looked like Hidan mulling around. "Uh.. guys is that who I think it is..?" He asked stopping for a moment. The zombie grew closer but did not run like the others to them and he just wobbled in front of the group. "Fuuuucccckkkkk!~ Nnggh!" He groaned.

Naruto raised a eye brow and looked back at Gaara who was sweat dropping. "Is that really Hidan?" Gaara asked and frowned watching Hidan stumble about. "He moves a little faster then the others..yet he is not attacking." He said blinking.

"Well I think Gaara might be the cure so.. er.." Lee pulled out the chains then moved carefully over to Hidan. "Shhiiitt!" Hidan groaned out but he did not attack as Lee put the collar on him. "Nnghhaaa!" Instead Hidan leaned in and limply hugged Lee. The male sweat dropped and pulled away. "Yeah.. good buddy..." He said and carefully moved backwards. "I uh guess we can take him with us.."

Gaara blinked and looked at Lee. "C-Cure? What do you mean?" He asked and tilted his head cutely. Naruto watched Hidan for a moment and then walked over to Lee and Kiko. "Yeah..it's weird since he seems to be getting better." Naruto said scooted away from Hidan when he got to close.

"Yeah, maybe you do have the cure.." Kiko said then she gently pulled off the pack and knelt down to check on the kitten, not noticing she was over a man hole. Suddenly Hidan started to groan and he pushed on them to get them away from the man whole. "Fuuuccck!! Shhhiiittt!" The zombie groaned out and Lee was confused backing away and making Naruto do so as well not sure what he meant. "Huh?" Kiko tilted her head a little looking at them then she stood up. "What is he doing..?"

Suddenly the man hole went flying and Naruto had to duck down with Gaara so it wouldn't hit them, long red tentacles shot and wrapped around Kiko and lifted her into the air. "K-Kiko!" Naruto yelled and Gaara grabbed the gun at his side and lifted it and tried to take aim to hit the tentacles but his vision was blurring from how weak he was. "D-Damn it.."

Kiko let out a yelp then she struggled trying to reach down to her shoes to get the knife Naruto had given her but she was tied too tight. "Ah! Naruto!" She yelled begging her lover to help her. Lee struggled for a minute but he got the bun out of its holster aiming but when he went to shoot he missed because Hidan pushed on his arms. "Ahh!! FUUUCCKK!" The zombie yelled as if telling Lee not to shoot and draw attention to them.

Naruto carefully set Gaara down and went to run forward but the redhead grabbed his ankle making him fall. "N-Naruto stop! You can't get close!" He yelled and winced seeing the tentacles were tightening on the girl. Naruto felt his eyes tear up and he moved to get up. "No!" The tentacles then pulled Kiko apart sending blood raining down, it then pulled her body down into the man hole and down to the sewer. Gaara put the gun back into his holster and reached up to grip at his hair. Naruto just sat there staring at the blood on the ground then punched a trash can next to him. "Fucking m-monster!!" He shouted and tried to get up again but was pulled by his friend and Gaara hugged him as the blond cried. "I'm sorry...Lee come over here.." Gaara said wincing.

"Naruto... things happen.." Lee tried to say and he went over wincing to see the small kitten had blood spats on it and he gently picked the bag up shushing the poor thing. "It is alright.." He said and turned starting to walk over. "She... we have all lost people Naruto.. you barely knew her it is alright.." He said. However he had to stop walking when he felt a sudden yank at his ankle and his eyes widened when he looked down and saw one of the tentacles starting to move up his leg. 'No no no!' He thought and tried to kick it away as the full monster came out of the man hole and moved towards Lee.

Gaara's eyes went wide and he stood up shakly and ran over. "NO!" He shouted and throw himself over Lee's lap and grabbed the tentacles and tried to pull him off. "L-Let him go d-damn it! I am not losing him!" He yelled and blinked when the ground started to shake. "G-Gaara! Lee get out of there!" Naruto said and tried to move over but stumbled over Hidan's chain and him and the zombie fell over.

"Shhitt!!" The zombie yelled and it struggled to get back up. Mean while the tentacle monster seemed to just freeze, for a second it touched Gaara but then recoiled back, making a sound like hissing as it slipped back into the man hole. Lee's eyes were wide, his heart pounding hard and when the zombie pulled away he turned and hugged Gaara tightly. "W-what was that..?" He asked confused as to why it pulled away.

Gaara was shaking all over and hugged Lee back around his neck. "A-Are you o-ok?!" He asked and started to check him for wounds. "..When Gaara touched it..it let go of you.." Naruto as he walked over to stop next to him. "I-It did?" Gaara asked then kissed Lee's cheek so happy he was ok.

"Gaara.. are you... you are really special to these things I t-" Lee froze when Hidan got himself up and he walked over grabbing Gaara's hand looking him over whining a little. "Fuckk... ahh.." He groaned then Lee hesitantly reached and pat Hidan. "He is okay..." and like a dog Hidan backed up and started to stare at the stars.

Gaara tilted his head looking at Hidan then looked back at Lee. "What were you saying?" He asked and moved so he was sitting next to him so Lee could get up. "Jeez..." Naruto muttered then looked at the manhole and bowed his head a little. '..I can grieve later..' He thought and ran his sleeve over his eyes then pulled Lee up onto his feet.

Lee stood up then gently pulled Gaara onto his back. "Here.. hold on.. Naruto.. lead the way please.." He said handing Naruto the chain to Hidan. The zombie however started walking, leading them to the base even though he had not been there before being able to tell where other humans were so Naruto did not have to focus. "Shhiitt! Hheeelll!!~"

Gaara looked at the pack he had picked up with the kitten inside and relaxed a little. "Well the kitten is ok.." He said and put it back on his back then wrapped his arms around Lee's neck again. Naruto raised an eye brow at Hidan and looked at him. "He still cusses..was he cussing when he died or something?" He asked.

"I do not know," Lee said and he just followed. "Is he leading us the right way?" He asked then blanked when Hidan made them stop and he walked over to a group of zombies and grunted leading them a different way before trailing off going back over and getting the group to fallow again. "Is he a smart zombie or something..?" Lee asked a little confused.

Gaara blinked and reached out and patted Hidan on the head. "Uh...good Hidan.." He said then nuzzled his head into Lee's. "So..does that mean nothing is gonna attack Gaara? Should we test this?" Naruto asked and watched a random zombie fall off a roof and land on the path.

"I uh.. guess..." Lee said and he stopped and pulled his gun out, carefully he moved over to the zombie that had fallen and it struggled to stand up. Lee kept the gun aimed at his head before he frowned watching it. "Uhh.. touch it Gaara.." He mumbled and Hidan groaned uneasily trying to get to Gaara worried.

Naruto bit his lip and let out more of the chain go so Hidan could do something if he wanted to. Gaara hstently reached out and poked the zombie on it's forehead. 'D-don't bite..don't bite..' He thought and tensed when it moved.

After a sniff the zombie gurgled and pulled away from the hand, swatting it away before turning starting to mull off. "It is like they are afraid of you.." Lee muttered then blinked when Hidan stumbled over and he checked Gaara then went after the other zombie. "Uhhh.. Naruto!" Lee raised his volume just a bit to get the blond to pay attention and control the zombie once more.

Naruto blinked then grabbed the chain again and pulled Hidan back carefully. "Whoa what was he gonna do? And thats great! Gaara won't be attacked by anything!" He said and Gaara shrugged then wrapped his arm back around Lee's neck. "Well..my siblings are gonna be shocked.." He mumbled.

"I just do not want him getting other zombies to come after us even if they can not attack Gaara they can attack us.." Lee muttered and he nuzzled his head back into Gaara then kept slowly walking, noting the sun was starting to come up. "Gggrruuu!!" Hidan started to tug at the chain though, acting up just a bit.

Gaara nuzzled back and glanced at the sky. "We need to hurry..it's getting brighter." He said and blinked seeing the base. "You guys went there?" "Yeah..and Ian got killed.." Naruto replied and moved so he was next to Hidan. "Uh...we have to keep Itachi from not shooting you or Hidan." "..Jee thanks Naruto." Gaara muttered and twitched.

"He better not think of shooting my Gaara-kun or he will be in a world of hurt!" Lee complained and then they got to the base and entered through a small entrance. Hidan stopped and groaned when they reached the group and Temari jumped. "Zombi-! Gaara..?" She asked seeing Lee and Naruto and Gaara all come in after the zombie.

"Relax he is good!" Naruto yelled then waved at Sasuke. "Hey man!" Gaara smiled a little and waved at his sister. "Hey Temari..." He said and looked over at his brother as he walked over. "Gaara! What are you doing here? What happened to your eye?" Kankuro asked and then blinked. "You look..ok?"

Temari looked concerned and she moved closer to the redhead, checking him over. "Gaara.. are you.. you look healthier.. what happened?" The older sister said concerned and once Lee set him down she gently rubbed her younger brother's cheek. "What happened to your eye?" She added. Itachi had woken up and his lips pursed together grabbing the gun pointing it at the zombie. "What the hell do you think you are doing?! These things are not pets!"

"N-No no! Watch he won't bite." Naruto said and waved his hand in front of Hidan's face. "Though he might cuss at you..he chases other zombies! Oh and no zombies will attack Gaara!" Gaara moved forward and hugged his sister tightly so happy to see her. "I don't know..but Lee has a idea whats going on with me.." He said and closed one eye when Kankuro ruffled up his hair and looked up to see he was smiling. "It's good to see you are doing ok.." He said and hugged both his siblings tightly. Suigetsu got up and walked over grinning to see Lee and Gaara. "Hey!"

"Brother put the damn gun down," Sasuke said bitterly and Itachi said putting it away and he got up. "Can we go now?" He asked moving over to the path that lead out. "I think um.. Gaara has.. um the cure.." Lee muttered and Itachi blinked freezing and turning around. "What..?" "Well since he healed and all.. and no zombie will go near him and stuff... it might.. well work.."

Gaara blinked and then stepped back to look at Itachi. "Uh..yeah.." He said and pulled the wrappings off his arm and showed the wound to the older male so he could see it was healing. Kankuro looked at the wound and gasped. "It was a hole before..it looks ok.." He said and then blinked. "The cure?"

Itachi scoffed and then turned away from them. "What ever but I am leaving them behind if anything happens.. come on Sasuke.." The older brother said starting to walk down the trail. Temari sighed but then hugged her youngest brother, "I am happy you are alright.. but we should hurry.." she told him then started to follow Itachi. "Fuuucckk thiis~" Hidan seemed to agree and he started walking forcing them to so they could keep hold of his chain.

Everyone fallowed silently and Gaara sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "Lee..could you help me wrap my arm up again?" He asked and then sweat dropped when Naruto glomped Sasuke. "Hey man, you need to tell your brother to lighten up..if redhead is really the cure he can't be trying to ditch him the first chance he gets." The blond whispered and frowned a little. Suigetsu raised a eye brow at Hidan and walked faster so he was next to his lover.

Sasuke sighed at his friend and nodded. "I know that... look Itachi is just watching out for me and himself... I will make sure Gaara is alright and we do not ditch him.. now get off me.." He told the blond with a small glare. Hidan walked slower and tilted his head at Gaara's arm then tried to tie it up but his hands only fumbled over it. "It is alright I got it.." Lee awkwardly said to the zombie then started to tie Gaara's arm up.

Naruto let go of the black haired male and playfully messed up his hair. "That's good to hear..how far till we are out of the city?" He asked. Kankuro checked his watch for the time and sighed a little. "It might be awhile..I hope we don't run into anything big." He muttered then looked at Hidan. "Do you think any other zombies are like him?" He asked and Gaara shrugged and lightly patted Hidan on his head. "I don't know maybe..he has kept a lot of his memory's I think." The redhead said and smiled a little at Lee.

Hidan leaned into the touch but then stopped and groaned backing up from where they were walking. "Uh... Itachi we shouldn't go down there.." Lee said and the older man stopped and glared back. "Why because the dead thing doesn't want to? Come on or I am leaving you behind..." He said only to be stopped by Tsunade, "No listen to them.."

Gaara blinked then rubbed his forehead. "I feel a head ache is starting.." He mumbled and looked down the path. 'I suddenly have a bad feeling..' He thought and set his hand on Lee's shoulder. Kankuro walked into Temari since she stopped walking and almost tripped. "Ah! Sis don't just stop in the middle of the walkway like that!" He said looking annoyed.

Temari blinked, "Oh sorry..." she mumbled to her brother before tilting her head a little seeing Hidan was walking over to a vest and clawing at it groaning. "I think we should follow him..." She said in a simple voice. Lee gulped but agreed and walked over getting the vent grate off. "Oh come on! The zombie is leading you guys to our doom!" Itachi yelled but Sasuke glared at him. "Itachi.. just shut up and come on," he said and his older brother blinked looking insulted before quieting down and walking over walking the zombie walk inside of the large vent area.

"Wait...I should go first.." Gaara said and moved past everyone so he was in front of the group. 'I guess that's a up side to being the...cure..nothing wants to eat me..' He thought and sighed. Kankuro looked worried and fallowed closely. "Hey don't I know you?" He asked looking at Suigetsu. "Oh yeah you came into the blade store I work at and ordered a few knifes." Suigetsu said cheerfully and shook the older males hand. "Huh..no wonder you have a huge sword.." Kankuro said and the shorter male shrugged.

"Be careful Gaara-kun..." Lee said following the two into the vent. Soon everyone was in it and then Itachi jumped in the back hearing something clank behind them and he looked to see zombies clawing at the grate he had just put back up. "Zombies in the back... they can't get in though hurry up.. I guess you were right," He called up to the others. Hidan continued his cursing and groaning while leading them passed a giant dead fan and down to another broken grate that he got through that lead them into a huge room.

Gaara looked around and then pulled a flash light out of his pocket and shined it around the room. "What was this room used for..?" He asked and moved aside so he wasn't in the way. "Hell I know..Temari came here more then I did." Kankuro said and slipped when he stepped into the room and glared at the ceiling. "What did I just slip in.."

Temari moved over and flicked on the lights all of the glass containers around them lighting up. "Experiment containing room.." she said while looking at the huge container in the corner light up with a white monster with spikes in it's back and huge claws sat in. "They should all be dead though.. the power had been off for too long.." She said and watched Hidan moved over to help Kankuro up. "Fuuckk.. shit.." "and you do not want to know what you slipped in Kankuro.."

Kankuro let the zombie pull him up and made a face looking at the slime on the floor. "Eeeew...er thanks Hidan." He said looking a little surprised and then smirked as he whipped a little slime off his pants and smeared it on Gaara's arm. "Gah!...What are we kids again ?" Gaara asked with a glare and his brother laughed. Suigetsu chuckled then looked at all the jars around the room. "Well this place is fucked up." "You sure all these things are dead?" Naruto asked walking over to look at the large monster.

"Yeah they should be... all the nutrition that supplied them with food has stopped.." Temari replied and then she moved over and picked locked a door. "Come on this way... Hidan led us to a good spot.. there is a large room outside here and then glass doors that lead us right outside to where we were supposed to go.." She said in a soft tone feeling relieved that things would soon be over. "Alright come on guys," Tsunade said a little more cheered thank before.

Gaara frowned as he walked past a few of the jars and folded his arms. 'So this is what father was up to...he cared more about making these things then us?' He thought and bowed his head a little. Naruto tapped on the glass then quickly fallowed everyone through the doors. "I can't wait to be out of here this place gives me the creeps!" He said and looked at Itachi. "You still think taking Hidan with us was a bad idea?" He asked smirking.

Itachi folded his arms and just glared without responding. However by the time everyone was in the middle of the huge now bright room since it was morning Itachi froze. Something made noise behind him and he turn before quickly pulling out his gun. A herd of zombies was coming up from behind, and others were breaking through the glass. "Yes if you must know.." He said and Hidan started to freak out trying to get away and lead everyone to safety still groaning. "Damn it.." Lee actually said pulling Gaara close, "I love you.." He murmured since he was now afraid it might be the end.

Naruto's eyes widened and he looked around not able to see a exit that was clear, looking back he was a large table and climbed onto it, dropping his backpack on it with all the ammo. "Shit..come on you guys fight! Don't give up!" Naruto yelled noticing the zombies already knew they were there and started to fire his gun. Kankuro climbed up as well not wanting to be on the ground and pulled his sister up. "Well...at lest we are together.." He said and pulled the shotgun off his shoulder. Gaara hugged Lee tightly and winced. 'If everything ignores me...does that mean I...am going to be the only one to get out of this?' He thought and pushed Lee over to the table with his siblings.

Lee gulped when he looked over and saw the large white creature from before walking out in the middle of the others. Then it got down low and dashed at the group. "Gaara! Temari yelled since her brother was exposed and she jumped down and tossed her bag at the monster before running off getting it to chase her. "Shoot it!" she called out to the group and everyone began to shoot at the monster and other zombies.

"No Temari!!" Gaara yelled and then turned and pushed Lee into the table. "Please stay here!" He ordered and then ran after his sister. He felt his heart stop for a moment when the creature swung its arm to hit her and time seemed to slow down. 'NO!' There was a sudden loud gun shot and the monsters arm was blown off, a man in a full on combat suit ran over and grabbed Temari's arm pulling her away from the creature and started to fire the machine gun he was carrying at it.

The creature yelled in pain then jumped up onto the lights that were swinging in the room to get away from the stray bullets. Temari on the other had had gone into slight shock but then she let out a long breath realizing what was going on and pulled back, "Who are- Shikamaru?!" She yelled then wrapped her arms around him clinging to him. Then suddenly all the zombies in the back exploded and a man with a dog came in. "Yahoo! Stupid fucking zombies! Hey guys!~" The teen yelled waving his hand before shooting another zombie straight in the head.

Shikamaru grinned and hugged his girlfriend tightly. "I am so happy to see your alive! I found a lot of our friends they are in a truck a block away." He said and then handed her his other gun. Gaara relaxed seeing his sister was ok and looked annoyed when one of the zombies walked into him and he pushed it away. "Get over here you two!" He called. "Kiba!" Kankuro yelled and waved at him. "Thank god your ok!" Naruto smiled happy to see more of his friends alive but yelped when a zombie grabbed his leg and yanked him off the table.

Lee quickly stomped on the zombie, breaking it's rib cage with ease and helping Naruto up. "Careful," He told him then looked over to Gaara worriedly. Suddenly though a squad of military stormed in and shot all the zombies down before trapping the white one. "This never happened..." The general said simply ready to just leave again before Tsunade stopped him. "Wait! We think we.. uh.. we have the cure to this.." she said in a soft voice. Meanwhile Hidan was hiding under the table not wanting to get shot like the other zombies.

Naruto picked up a gas mask and crawled under the table and put it on Hidan. "Shh just stay there." He said with a sweat drop. Gaara walked over to Tsunade and blinked as he looked at the general. "Uh...hello.." He said then glanced over at Lee. Kankuro sat down on the floor so glad they were finely safe and let his gun fall to the floor. 'Safe...finely..' He thought.

"Hm.. is that so? Where were exactly is this.. cure?" He asked the nurse and she opened her mouth to speak but Lee cut her off. "We are not telling you unless you promise not to hurt him..." He said moving over and hugging Gaara around his waist. "What do you mean him?" "The 'cure' happens to be someone my father constantly was exposing to this stuff.." Temari said walking over and standing near her brother. "Ah.. I seem to understand.. fine.. we will not harm him with experimenting.." the general agreed and Lee let out a long sigh kissing Gaara softly.

Three years had gone by and things had gone back to normal, well as normal as things could get when zombies were a normal way of life. Gaara adjusted his sun glasses as he watched a zombie in chains push a cart in the parking lot to the store he was walking away from. "Jeez..I still think it's weird.." He muttered and looked over at his husband. "Do we have everything for the party tonight? It's been a long time since we saw everyone." He said and opened the trunk of the car and started to put bags in it. "If Sasuke and Suigetsu start things in the bathroom again I am gonna lose it." He muttered.

"They need to stop randomly having sex in every place they can at our house.." Lee mumbled and then nodded while putting sodas in the back of the car. "I think I got everything.." Then he wrapped his arms around Gaara's neck and gently kissed him where a hickey was on his neck. "Maybe later tonight we can have a little fun after everyone leaves? As a tribute to before.." he said gently taking Gaara's hand and running his finger over the ring on it.

Gaara blushed deeply and leaned into him. "I w-was wondering what the lube was for.." He said pointing in the bag he had picked up out of the cart and set it in the car. "Wait is it already the anniversary of the day the out break first started?" He asked and smiled looking at their hands. He snuggled into Lee thinking about the fact out of his siblings he was the first to get married, when the family joke had been he would be the last to. "I can't wait to see Temari's new baby.." He mumbled.

"Yup.. three years from today... and that is when I found out I loved you.." He said in a soft voice before leading him to the inside of the car and opening the door for him like a gentleman. "Temari's new baby is probably really cute.. I still say we should adopt one.." Lee said in a happy tone before putting the cart away and getting on the drivers side of the car.

Gaara smiled and leaned over to peck his lover on the lips. "..Do you think we are ready though?" He asked smiling softly and put his seat belt on, then jumped as his phone rang and quickly answered it. "Naruto? Yes we got the soda just make sure you bring the chips. Are we going to be able to meet who you are going out with?" He asked and then rolled his eyes. "Just bring your boyfriend." He said and hung up before Naruto could yell at him. "Glad Naruto started to date again."

"Yeah, what happened with Kiko then was pretty traumatic... and of course we are ready. Gaara together you and I took on the zombie apocalypse in just a few weeks.. I think we are ready for anything," Lee said starting the car. And after awhile the two both reached home and had all the bags inside and soon were ready for the party to start.

Gaara hugged his lover and blushed faintly. "I...guess...I hope they look over my little problem." He said pointing at his sun glasses then grabbed a raw steak out of the fridge and handed it to Lee. "Your turn today." He said and looked at the basement door.

"Alright.." Lee said with a small pout then walked to the door and opened it. "Hidan dinner time," He called down and the zombie came scrambling up the stairs and Lee tossed him the steak. "Fuck!~" "No thank you!" Lee yelled back and the zombie tilted it's head. "Shit head..?" "NO! Gah.. forget it.. go lay down.." Lee told him then shut the door and folded his arms. "He will never learn English again will he?"

Gaara smirked and shrugged. "Nope, that means if we get a kid we can't let them hear Hidan's cussing for awhile." He said and walked up to his lover and wrapped his arms around his neck. "I think it's sweet you put a TV and stuff down there for him." He said and nuzzled his head under Lee's chin.

Lee blushed a little then nuzzled his head back into his lover. "He still is a zombie.. I do not want him getting bored and trying to kill things.." he explained then jumped when the door bell rang. "You get that.." He said in a soft tone.

Gaara pouted and then lent up close almost like he was going to kiss him but instead kissed his cheek being a tease. "Ok!" He said and ran to the door pulling it open.

Lee smiled looking at Gaara opening the door to everyone their little feline running up to greet them as well. Their friends, the people who had survived the drama with them three years ago. And it was their goal that every year they meet and throw a party for their life and the beginning of a new. 'I am glad we survived..' Lee thought.
