I�m back with the sixteenth chapter of my story. Well, now, Naruto
has returned to the Leaf Village, his banishment is done, and Danzo has been
brought to �justice�. However, I�m not done with him or Sakura�s mother, yet,
but Danzo won�t be in the picture too long after this, if you get my meaning.
And keep wondering why Sai didn�t come to save the day? Well, you will find out
soon enough. Anyway, time for the show!

Note: There will be some to a lot of OOC (Out of Character)
in this story and there will be plenty of Naruto/Sakura/Hinata/Tsunade, but it
will be mainly Naruto/Harem.

Chapter 16: Sasuke�s
Choice

(Rejoining Sasuke and
his team; shortly after we left them)

Within the cave, we find Sasuke and Team Snake facing Madara
Uchiha, the founder of the Uchiha clan, wearing another �Tobi mask�, standing
before them.

Sasuke takes a few steps forward of his team and Karin asks,
concerned, �Sasuke-kun?�

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, �Stay back.�

Karin asks, perplexed, �But . . .?�

Jugo tells Karin, calmly, �Sasuke-sama knows what he is
doing.�

Sasuke asks Madara, �So, you are Madara Uchiha, fonder of
our clan? That�s pretty hard to believe. Why aren�t you dead?�

Madara tells Sasuke, with a sly tone, �Let me show you.�
Madara takes off his mask and displays his true face along with his �Eternal Mangekyo
Sharingan� to Sasuke. Sasuke is surprised, but he then yelps as his eyes turn
into the same Mangekyo Sharingan eyes as Itachi and immediately launches Amaterasu right at Madara.

Karin yells out, stunned, �That�s Itachi�s technique!� Soon
after the black flames stop, Sasuke�s eyes start to bleed causing him to clutch
them in pain. Karin calls out, horrified, �Sasuke-kun, are you okay?�
Immediately, Team Snake goes over to Sasuke and an evil chuckle comes from
nearby. Everyone looks to see Madara with his �Tobi mask� back on staring at
them.

Madara says, with a sly smile, �It looks like Itachi made
sure that you were safe Sasuke. He must have transplanted all of his Mangekyo
jutsu to you and put in a �safety command� to attack me with his Amaterasu the instant that you saw my
Sharingan.�

Sasuke asks, stunned, �Itachi did this?! Why?!�

Madara says, with a sly tone, �To protect you. As he has
always done because he has been the Itachi that you remember from your
childhood and the emotionless killer that you�ve gone to know was an act.�

Sasuke asks, perplexed, �What do you mean?�

Madara says, with a plain tone, �Allow me to explain,
Sasuke. You see, this started years ago far before you were born back when I
founded the clan. My brother and I were forced to kill our best friends and in
killing someone close to us, we gained the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan for
you see by having someone close to you die, they become the sacrifice to awaken
this higher Sharingan power. However, this powerful dojutsu came with a price.
The more that we used it, the more it took away my sight. Until one day, I
became blind. However, my brother sacrifice his eyes to me and when they were
combined with my eyes, I could see once more and the darkness never came again.
But my own clan thought that I took my brother�s eyes for my own selfish gain
and banished me from the clan and village. Soon after, I fought the First
Hokage at the Valley of Ends where I used my powerful �Eternal Mangekyo
Sharingan� to control the Kyuubi, the Nine-Tailed Fox to attack the First.�

Sasuke asks, perplexed, �You have the power to control that
demon?�

Madara says, with a nod, �Yes. It is one of the greatest
powers of the Sharingan: The ability to control demons.� Madara then states,
continuing his story, �However, I didn�t count on the First Hokage�s own Kekkai
Genkai to negate the Nine-Tailed Fox�s power, so, I lost and I left. However, I
plotted against the clan that betrayed me and the First Hokage�s clan. On the
day of Naruto�s birth, I got that chance when I tried to take control of the
Nine-Tailed Fox once more, but she resisted me. And if you need to know, the
Kyuubi is a girl demon.�

Jugo states, perplexed, �Girl demon?�

Madara says, with a nod, �Yes. But like I said, the wench
tried to fight my power, so, I had no choice, but to inflict a berserker curse
on her. However, she really went out of control, but she went and attacked the
Hidden Leaf Village. But I didn�t suspect that the Fourth Hokage would know of
a way to seal the Kyuubi and that he would use his own son, Naruto Uzumaki
Namikaze, to seal the Kyuubi away within him. Needless to say, there are plenty
of people in the Leaf Village that knew of the deeper secrets of the Sharingan
including the Third Hokage and the elders of the village. They suspected your
clan of sending the Nine-Tailed Fox against me as well as me.�

Sasuke yells out, surprised, �What?�

Madara says, with a nod, �That�s right. In fact, because of
this suspicion, the Uchiha clan, at least some of them, decided to rebel against
the village and your family wasn�t innocent of this rebellion. It was your own
father that sent Itachi into the ANBU to become a spy for the clan.� Sasuke�s
eyes widen and Madara says, with a sly tone, �That�s right. Your brother was to
spy for the clan, but your brother loved the village over his own clan. You
see, he was young during the Third Ninja War and its horrors shocked him
causing him to become somewhat of pacifist and he hated war. He felt that if
the Uchiha clan rebelled that the village would become unbalanced war would
start anew. Itachi didn�t want that, so, instead, he became a double agent for
the village. Only the Third Hokage, councilman Danzo, and the elders of the
village knew this. However, his own clan suspected his betrayed and sent his
best friend, Shisui, to spy on him. When Shisui found out the truth, Itachi
killed him especially since he found out the secrets of the Mangekyo Sharingan
at this time. So, Itachi killed his best friend for two reasons: One, to gain
his Mangekyo. And two, to ensure his secret stay hidden. However, the Uchiha
weren�t exactly fooled by Shisui�s �suicide�. The Third Hokage tried to reason
with the Uchiha clan, but they wouldn�t listen. So, he didn�t want to, but he
gave Itachi the order: Destroy all of the Uchiha clan and leave the village as
a criminal.�

Sasuke gasps in shock and Sasuke yells out, strongly, �No!
This has got to be some kind of trick!�

Madara says, with a plain tone, �No trick. I assure you.
However, Itachi pleading for your life because he cared about you so much and
he argued that since you were so young that you didn�t know of the rebellion
and would never rebel against the village. He managed to win their agreement
for you to be speared and he asked that you never be told the truth of why he
destroyed yours and his clan. Itachi didn�t want you to be ashamed of your heritage
and he wanted you to rebuild the Uchiha clan for the better. On that night,
however, he also met someone else out to destroy the Uchiha clan and the
village: Me. When we met Itachi quickly figured who I was and he was shocked to
find out about my �Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan� and he knew the village was in
danger since I wanted revenge. So, we made a deal. Itachi would help me destroy
the Uchiha clan expect for you and the rest of the village and you are to be
left alone as long as he live along with the Fourth Hokage�s son. And I agreed.
When we�re done with the Uchiha clan�s destruction, Itachi made sure that you
thought only he was responsible for the Uchiha�s clan destruction and that he
did for pretty reasons.�

Sasuke asks, seriously, �Why is that?�

Madara says, with a sly tone, �So that you would get strong
enough to kill him. You see, Itachi was willing to destroy his own clan for the
sake of the Hidden Leaf Village and our world to prevent another ninja war and
more lives to be lost, but he felt that destroying his own clan was a crime
beyond forgiveness and he planned for his �dues� to be paid through you. He
wanted you to be consumed by anger and rage towards him so that you would be
more than willing to kill and gain the strength necessary to fight him and
destroy him. However, he was horrified to learn that you abandoned the village
and went with Orochimaru. But when he heard that Orochimaru needed years to
transfer his soul again, his worry vanished since he knew that you would become
strong enough to deal with him. And Itachi was right. However, he knew that he
had to fight you soon because Itachi was dying.�

Sasuke gasps in shock and Karin asks, perplexed, �Dying?�

Madara says, with a nod, �You see, Itachi had an incurable
disease that had a connection with the negative effects of the jutsu of the Mangekyo
Sharingan. He was dying, but he held on with special medicine and the caring
that he felt for Sasuke. Ever since finding out about the battle with Naruto at
the Valley of Ends and going with Orochimaru, Itachi planned to remove
Orochimaru�s curse mark with you and have his life ended by Sasuke to give him
the Mangekyo Sharingan. You see, Itachi made a mistake by telling you that you
need to kill your best friend since he believed the same thing at the time. In
order to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan, someone close to you needs to die. A best
friend is one, but family, lovers, or anyone close to your heart and mind would
do. So, Itachi planned to be Sasuke�s �sacrifice� to give him the Mangekyo
Sharingan. When he heard about Naruto taking over the Sound Village, he knew
that he would be the best hope for that. So, he went to Naruto for the purpose
of arranging that fight since he could get the word out the best and it would
be quite private since he told Naruto and his allies everything. When you
battled Itachi, Sasuke, he pushed you to your limit for Orochimaru to come out
since Itachi knew that you absorbed him by turning his own jutsu against you.
When he sealed Orochimaru away, he got rid of the Curse Mark and got rid of his
influence on you once and for all. Orochimaru�s powers are gone from you, but
you have new powers. The power of Itachi since he used the last of his strength
to transfer his power to you through a dojutsu transfer and it is possible but
only between two Sharingan users. And when Itachi died in front of you, you
have gained the power of Mangekyo Sharingan. This is the truth about Itachi,
the destruction of the Uchiha clan, and me. Itachi was willing to die a
criminal and traitor for you and the village. He hoped that you would make the
Uchiha name proud again. He did everything for you, including his �attack� on
the Leaf Village to get Naruto. He wanted to make sure that Danzo knew that he
was alive after the Third Hokage was killed to ensure that he didn�t do
anything to you.�

Sasuke yells out, shaking his head, �No! It has to be a lie!�

Madara says, with a serious tone, �It seems like that you
have accepted the �illusion� that Itachi made for you. Like I said, Itachi did
what he did for you. I shall leave you to cope with what I told you and for you
to accept the truth.� Madara then points to an area to the right of Sasuke and
Team Snake and they look to see Itachi�s dead body lying down like in gentle
sleep. Madara tells Sasuke, �Remember the brother that you knew before the
destruction of the Uchihas and you will see the truth.� Madara then uses his teleportation
ability to leave Sasuke and Team Snake to cope with what Madara told him.

Sasuke then gets to his feet and goes over to Itachi�s body
causing Karin to ask, curiously, �Sasuke-kun?�

When Sasuke looks down at Itachi, he sees his smiling face,
the smile that he remembered in his childhood, and Sasuke states, lowly, �Who
are you really Itachi Uchiha?� Just then the memories of his childhood with his
brother before the Uchiha massacre flow into his mind and then a �new� memory
flows into Sasuke�s mind. It is the day of the Uchiha massacre and when Sasuke
confronted Itachi, but this time, he sees Itachi crying at plenty of moments
when he confronted him before he was knocked out. Just then Sasuke closes his
eyes and for the first time since his clan was murdered, Sasuke starts to cry.
Sasuke says, lowly, �I�m such a fool. He did trick me.�

Jugo asks, perplexed, �Sasuke-sama?� However, Sasuke clenches
his fists and with tears coming down from his eyes, he gives a roar of anger,
pain, and sadness that echoes throughout the whole cave causing his team to
winch in shock, a bit of fear, and surprise.

(Back within the Hidden
Leaf Village; Within Tsunade�s office)

Inside of Tsunade�s office, we find Tsunade, displaying some
bulge around her stomach area after dropping a mixture of a transformation
ninjutsu and genjutsu, staring down at Naruto, Temari, Hinata, Sakura, and
Kushina.

Kushina says, with a sly smile, �I see that you already deep
into your pregnancy, Lady Tsunade.�

Tsunade says, with a sly smile, �Since Naruto has the Kyuubi
inside of him, interactions with us are different from other couples. It has
only been eight days, but I�m already quite deep into my pregnancy.�

Temari says, rubbing her stomach, �So, I can expect a bit of
my bundle of joy from Naruto-kun to �change� me soon.�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �That�s right, Temari. I�m a bit
surprised to hear that you got married to Naruto on the same day that Itachi
battled with Sasuke.�

Temari says, with a sly smile, �Well, I didn�t want my
Naruto-kun to be accused of adultery since he was already married to you, Lady
Hokage, Sakura-chan, and Hinata-chan.�

Hinata asks Temari, curiously, �Why did you want to go
through the ceremony like we did with Tsunade-sama and Sakura-chan,
Temari-chan?�

Temari says, with a snort, �I�m not into all that whole
ceremony and all. Plus, white isn�t my color.�

Sakura says, with a sly smile, �Plus, you wanted Naruto-kun
to be in-between your legs as soon as possible.�

Temari says, with a sly grin, �Maybe. However, since we are �sisters�
now, we have to share Naruto-kun.�

Sakura says, with a sly smile, �I don�t exactly like the
idea of sharing him with other wives other than Tsunade-chan and Hinata-chan,
but I�m sure that I can manage.�

Inner Sakura yells out, annoyed, �Yeah, right! Cha!�

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, �Well, you might have to
get used to other �sisters� other than Temari, Sakura. Remember, Naruto is the
heir to the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans and both clans have Kekkai Genkai within
them. Even through Temari is the childbearing age to fulfill the requirement
for a wife of childbearing age, Naruto might need a few more wives to rebuild
both clans.�

Inner Sakura calls out, annoyed, �You�ve got be kidding me,
Tsunade-chan! Cha!�

Kushina says, with a serious tone, �In order to make sure that
adultery doesn�t come as an issue, my son will have to marry become engaging in
any �intimate� moments with the possible wife since he is married to you,
Tsunade-sama, Hinata, Sakura, and Temari.�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �Right. But my marriage to
Naruto-kun can�t be known, yet. With the Forbidden Jutsu that made me younger
and all, it will take some time for Shizune and the village to understand.�

Hinata says, with a nod, �Good point, my lady. We will make
sure that we will keep quiet until the time is right.�

Kyuubi tells Naruto, with a sigh, �You, humans, are so complex.
When we demons mate with each other, they immediately become our eternal spouses,
but then again, we mainly only have one chosen spouse at a time!�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, �Right now. We will keep
the issue of future prospects for Naruto�s hand in other marriages open for
debate. Right now, since he is returning as member of the Leaf Village, he will
need to be reassigned a rank.�

Naruto asks, curiously, �How will we do that, Tsunade-chan?�

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, �Within a few days, we will
hold a match in the arena where the Chunin Exams finals are held and you will
be tested in three different areas: Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu. Based on
how you do in all three matches, you will be given a ranking. From what I know,
I think that you could possibly make Jonin.�

Naruto says, with a sly grin, �Thanks, Tsunade-chan.�

Kushina says, with a serious tone, �However, the first order
of business is for Naruto to gain his inheritance.�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �Right, Kushina. It is a good
thing that the Third and I maintain the Namikaze family residence for all these
years.�

Kushina says, with a sigh, �It has been so long. I hope it
hasn�t changed much.�

Tsunade asks Kushina, �If it is too hard for you, Kushina .
. .?�

Kushina says, with a shake of her head, �No, Minato-kun
wouldn�t want me to be morning him forever. And I�ve got more important things
to worry about it.�

Tsunade activates her special jutsu that negates the appearance
of the bulge of her waist and she says, with a nod, �Now, some ANBU and I will
escort you to your new home.�

Sakura says, with a smile, �I can�t wait.�

Hinata says, with a smile, �Me neither.�

Naruto asks Kushina, �Mom, what is our home like?�

Kushina says, with a smile, �Oh, you will see, my son.� Soon
enough, Tsunade leads Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Temari, and Kushina out of the
Hokage�s office to the Namikaze family residence.

(Sometime later; Returning
to Sasuke and Team Snake)

Back to Sasuke and his team, we find him with his eyes
closed as his team look at him, concerned, including Suigetsu, we find Madara
re-entering the room with his �Tobi mask�.

Madara says, with a plain tone, �Forgive me for not removing
my mask, but with Itachi�s �safety feature� in Sasuke, I thought that it would
be best for both of us.�

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, �Whatever.�

Madara asks Sasuke, �So, what do you think about what I
said? Do you believe it or do you believe the �illusion� that Itachi gave you?�

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, �I know that you speak the
truth. On the day that Itachi and you destroyed our clan, I saw tears falling
down Itachi�s eyes, but I blocked it out of my mind with the anger and hate that
I gained for him. Now, I know . . .� Sasuke�s right hand turned into a fist and
he says, lowly, �. . . He was never the enemy. Itachi did all that he did for
me to gain power. It wasn�t him that destroyed my clan. It was those in the
village that took away my clan and the brother I knew. They destroyed my clan
and my brother with him! They used him! They turned him into his personal tool
using his devotion to the village to use him and get rid of him for their own
selfish gain! My brother did everything for them and for what?! His name
spattered and dragged through the mud to be spat upon!� Sasuke grits his teeth
in anger as he turns around to face everyone and his eyes shoot open to reveal
his own Mangekyo Sharingan with his eyes looking two black and red six-sided
stars with the black line star within the red star.

Karin says, stunned, �Your eyes!�

Madara says, with a serious tone, �Since Itachi was Sasuke�s
�sacrifice�, Sasuke has gained his own Mangekyo Sharingan and with the dojutsu
transfer, he will have access to all of the powers of Itachi.�

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, �And I plan to use this
power given to me by my brothers. Team Snake, we have a new mission and a new
team!�

Jugo asks, perplexed, �New name?�

Sasuke says, with a strong tone, �Team Snake was devoted to
destruction of Itachi Uchiha, but the truth about my brother�s �betrayal� has
been exposed! He has been a tool used by the village for their own gain and his
name, reputation, and the person that I knew was destroyed by their selfishness
and deceit! I will not stand for this and I will no longer be used for their own
gain! My new mission for my brother�s name and for his �revenge� as well as the
vengeance for my clan. And it shall be our mission and �Team Snake� shall be no
more since we will have no more occasion with Itachi�s destruction. We are now �Team
Hawk� for like a hawk, vengeance shall come quick and hard to our foes.�

Suigetsu says, with a sly grin, �I like it, Sasuke-sama.�

Karin asks, curiously, �What is our mission?�

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, �Our mission: Revenge for
my clan and most of all, my brother�s honor and name, against the Hidden Leaf
Village! As soon as get to the Hidden Leaf Village, we shall attack the Hidden
Leaf and take revenge . . . no, justice! Justice for my clan and my brother!
This is beyond revenge, now! This is for justice!� Sasuke turns back to his
brother�s body and he tells, with a few tears down his Mangekyo Sharingan eyes,
�Brother . . . I will get you your justice . . . your name will not be
destroyed by those who destroyed you . . . as the brother I loved and the pride
of the Uchiha clan . . . our clan . . . I will get you justice . . . and no one
will get in my way!� Sasuke then launches another Amaterasu right at the wall and totally obliterating with black
flames. Sasuke winches in pain and his eyes bleed from the technique, but his
angered and resolved look in his expression stands firm. He will get his
revenge against the Leaf Village for what they �made� Itachi do and woe to
anyone that stands in his way . . .

Next time: Chapter
17: Naruto�s Test and Sasuke�s Attack

Well, this is the next chapter! Like I said, Sasuke isn�t
going to rejoin the Leaf Village and Naruto right away. And yes, it will take
Naruto knocking some sense into Sasuke to get him to come back, but in the end,
Sasuke won�t be a villain nor an anti-hero. And with Temari�s �marriage� to
Naruto, she was married on the same day that Sasuke fought Itachi because of �moral
issues�. Well, with that done and over with, tell me what you think. Later and
