Chapter Sixteen: Hokage?

The two council members looked at Sarani,
whom just nodded, then at Saiku
�And
Suniki.

�What do you want?� The female stepped forwards.

�We would like you and your siblings to come and talk to us.�
Kyu-ni�s double narrowed her eyes.

�Remember�don�t trust them.�
�Kyu-ni�s voice
echoed into her mind, and with that Sarani stepped forwards
to them.

�You already know my Answer.� The women�s eyes softened at this,
a slight smile on her face, as did the male one.

�Could we talk about this in Private please.�
Suratobi interrupted, at which the council both nodded,
the Kyuubi turned to Naruto.

�Come along Naruto�� The everyone looked at Naruto, Suratobi just smiled �smoking his pipe, blowing out a with a sigh, one
hand behind his back, then tipping his hat, and glared slightly as the council members
intervened.

�He WILL not come with us.� At this Kyu-ni
fists clenched
in anger, her pupils turning slit
like for a second, but calmed when she felt Kyuubi�s
hand on her shoulder.

�Now, now settle for
the moment.� With that she calmed down, and looked to Naruto with a smile
on her face, her hair falling into her eyes, to which she brushed back behind
her ear, and looked up at Naruto and smiled.

�Your coming with us ok.� At this
the old female councilmen interrupted,

�Please�we advice that he not come with us�� The Kyu-ni�s double interjected.

�AND why can�t my nephew be a part of this�hmm.� Sarani walked up to her, jabbing her finger into her chest
a frown of disgust on her face, at which the other just walked backward, a
slight frown on her face, then surrendered, making sure that this scene did not
grow any bigger in the presence of pupils.

�Fine�but he�ll stay in the�lobby. Iruka
Sensei.� With that Iruka stood up, drool slipping
down the right side of his chin, which he quickly wiped off.

�Yes.� At which he got a slight frown from the council
member, and hidden smirks from a few of the on looking students, there hands
over there mouths, eyes looking else were.

�Sorry to have�interrupted your lesson.� At which she turned
and walked out of the door along with the other council member in tow, followed
by Kyuubi, Kyu-ni whom walked along side Naruto whom just
fell silent.

�Well Iruka- sensei, you can get
the teams ready, as you were going to do�we�ll have to fit in both Siaku and Suniku when this�matter
is sorted.� Iruka bowed, at which Suratobi
gave a silght smirk, laving his hand, as he left,
turning right out of the door.

�Well class (turning to the now seating classmen)
lets carry on with the arrangements shall we?�

At
the Hokage tower.

All of them sat in the little lounge area the councilmen on
one side the Third Hokage along with Sarani, Siaku and Suniku on the opposite
sofa.

�Please try and reconsider Sarani sama it is after all in the best
interests of both Konoha, you and the fire country as a whole.� Sarani closed her eyes and sighed heaverly.

�NO I WILL NOT! For the last and final time�I do not want
that burden placed on me or any of my family.� See looked at them with resolve
in her withered old face, but found that they had turned there attention toward
Siaku and Suniku.

�Is it possible that one of you would consider taking the
place of the next hokage.� Both Kyuubi and Kyu-ni looked
at each other.

�KNEW
IT!� They both thought in unison, and sighed, and looked back to
them.

�We may�think about it.� Kyuubi said,
he inwardly glared at them. �God, these
two, as sooo annoying��

�Yes, besides we will be take
Naruto back with us when this exam is over.� Kyu-ni
stood up and walked to the door, but stopped when the male council member
stood.

�I am afraid we cannot let you do that.� At that Kyu-ni whipped around a glare on her �normal� calm face �Who the fuck do you think you are?�

�He is our cousin�old timer, his family�its
obvious that all of you haven�t been taking care of him.� When she spoke she
spoke with venom, yet the councilmen didn�t move an eyelid, but just sat down.

�Simple�he must be contained in Konoha, and not be allowed
to leave, due to safety issues, due to the Kyuubi inside him, he could be a
threat.� This time Kyuubi stood up, a menacing glare on his
face, his voice low and dangerous.

�Watch, what you say.� At which the councilmen sighed, and
turned to the Hokage, whom poofed his pipe again
sighing.

�They have a point he should be with his family.� At this
they all looked at him, then Sarani turned her head
to him.

�I am well aware of the nine tailed fox inside my nephew,
and from what I�ve seen so far, is that my daughter is right, you haven�t cared
for him as you should have. As for the Hokage issue (Turning to Kyuubi and Kyu-ni) what do you think?�

�We decline.� They both said in unison again, at which they
both walked out, and at which both the Hokage and councilmen looked at Sarani.�

�Is it possible that, maybe one of your students might, take
up the offer, not including Orochimaru I am sure.� They all nodded, at which Sarani got up bowed to the councilmen, and hugged the
Third, then left closing the door behind her.

In the sea of stars

�So how are you enjoying your little game sir?� A women said her face covered in shadow.

�Hmm�indeed its turning into quite
the show, don�t you agree?� A male voice said, with a chuckle.

�Shall I intervene?� She said.

�No�let us see�how they fair, this might prove, amusing?� He
said a slight smile touched his lips.

�As you wish.�

A/N: Well sorry for
taking a long time, but college started up, and I have had very little time to
update, so I say sorry in advance for the next chapters, or so.�
�If your confused about the ending, don�t worry things are yet to come.
