The Flame Princess
After the first mission, I had mentally prepared myself for the next. I suited myself up in my old clan clothing, surprised it still fit. It was a dark blue cloak that covered my body; I used the sliver ribbon from my hair and used it to tie my cloak together at the waist. I plaited my midnight black hair with Senbon poison needles, tucked a kunai under my cloak, pocketed my mace and covered my kunai pouch with my cloak. Chapter 14 Taking a deep breath I walked outside to my team. Lady Hokage had allowed me to lead this mission; I wasn't going to let my fear of him take over, not again! I heard the boys joined gasp and looked up. Me: what? Never seen a girl before? Both: (breathless) you look…. Amazing! Me: (chuckles) good! Sasuke silently walked over to me, checked me over and added his own weapon, a katana. He strapped it securely to my thigh under my cloak Naruto hugged me and gave me nuchucks tucking them into my kunai pouch. Sasuke: we'll be right behind you I promise! Naruto: yes! Me: it's only a chase guys! Calm down I'll be fine. Sasuke: (smiles and shakes head) be careful Mika I don't want to lose you I nodded and took off, hearing them close behind but hidden. I ran faster, using my nose to pick up the elder Uchiha's scent. Soon Itachi felt my chakra and took off into a sprint hard. The smell of fear and sweat made it a lot easier to track, the scent was a lot more potent. Suddenly he spun around and scanned the area with his Sharingan, I leapt behind a tree breathing hard. Itachi: (steely cold) Mika I know you're there! Come out! Me: (steps out eyes narrowed) Itachi Uchiha! Itachi: (does hand signs) Ice Prison! Me: (dodges it) Itachi you really think that'll work on me? Itachi: (chuckles, runs at her and kicks) Me: (catches it) SASUKE NOW! Sasuke: (jumps down) CHIDORI! I squealed in surprise as Itachi burst into crows and flew away. Sasuke skidded to a halt and slammed his chidori into the ground out of anger, I back flipped away from the carnage and punched the tree beside me. Naruto: damn it! Sasuke: shit! Me: sorry guys (looks down) We sighed and went home. The mission was a dud. We had chased a clone all the way to nowhere. Sasuke took my hand on the way home; Naruto was silent all the way home which was unusual for him. A/N: ok well another chapter done hope it was better than my other crap ones!
