"Fine. But you are buying what ever I want right dear husband." Sakura replies sweetly as they walk out the door hand in hand.
As Sakura and Asuma walked out of the campfire inn they saw the boys in the garden with Yuki and Jun. Yuki and Jun were sitting on a couple of chairs drinking tea, while the boys looked like they were watering the garden, well each other but the ground was getting wet in the process. The couple that was staying across the hall was walking along the edge of the garden hand in hand as they spoke to each other. "Hey, we are heading back into town for supper. Boys there is food in our room for you if you want it." Asuma yelled to them.
"Naruto-kun, please eat something green with tonight dinner." Sakura said as the boys stopped their "watering" of the garden.
"But I want to come." Naruto panted as he ran up to the couple, soaking wet.
"Naruto, you are soaking wet right now, how about next time we go both of you can come once you are all done helping around the inn?" Sakura said as she leaned away from the water that Naruto was dripping.
"Fine." Huffed Naruto as he ran back to Shikamuru to continue to water the garden. Asuma and Sakura waved as they walked down the road away from the inn.
When Kakashi woke up he realized that he sill was not in all that much pain. 'Sakura you are a goddess' Kakashi thought to himself as he rolled on to his side and kicked off the meagre blanket that Akie decided to grace him with. With a look around Kakashi noticed more of the cell that he was in. There was a small wash area with a sink and a toilet, the door that was right next to that. 'Not too smart to put a blind spot right there, but at least I can piss without them watching me' Kakashi thought as he ran a hand though his already messy hair. Kakashi continued to survey the little hovel that was his cell, there was not much else in the room except the bed he was sitting on that was on the side of the cavern right in front of the door, and the low table that he bruised his knee on list night before he fell into an exhausted sleep. 'Wait I bruised my knee last night, why does it not hurt?' Kakashi thought as he rolled up his pant leg to look at his knee. "What the Fuck…" Kakashi exclaimed as he looked at the now bruise free knee. 'That was not a dream then. What the fuck is happening?' Kakashi thought as he stood up to stretch and hit the head. As he walked to the bathroom he took stock of his injuries and could find very little in ways of actual injuries. 'I might actually get out of this if I can keep what ever fantasy my mind has come up with to help me cope with this. That is the only reason that this can be.' Kakashi thought as he washed his hands. The sound of footsteps pulled Kakashi out of his thoughts in time to see the door open form where he stood.
"Hatake-san, I got you some breakfast and your side of torture." Akie taunted as she flounced through the door with a tray of food and her "torture device" in her hands. She stopped short when she didn't immediately see Kakashi on the bed.
"Aww thank you…" Kakashi sarcastically drawled from his position by the sink as he stood up straight. Akie spun around and glared at him.
"How are you standing there, you should be in pain."
"I don't know, maybe I have a greater tolerance for this sort of thing then the weaklings that you are use to dealing with." Kakashi said as he slowly walked towards the bed eh took the time to study her while he was not distracted. As he passed Akie he could see how short she was compared to him. At 6 feet tall Akie only came up to his chest, the top of her head at his shoulders. When Kakashi got to the bed he studied her more as he sat down. Akie had shoulder length dirty blond hair that was framing her small face. Her lips were thin and color less, her nose was almost to big for her face, and her eyes were a dull blue that looked dead, with a scar that ran from her left eyebrow to the hairline over the right one. Her body was oddly not proportioned well. She had too small of a chest in relation to the rest of her body. 'She looks like a pear.' Kakashi thought to himself as he finished his rapid memorization of her features.
"What are you doing you hentia." Akie asked as she throws the tray that she was holding on the low table. It consisted of a piece of bread and some questionable looking water.
"Using the facilities" Kakashi replied as he leaned on the wall that the bed as against. His legs still over the edge as it was a cot not a true bed.
"Whatever, eat and then lets go." Akie stated as she stood there watching him with a glint of hated in her dead eyes.
"Thank you, but I am not hungry yet." Kakashi replied politely as he slowly stood from the bed. "I am ready when you are." Kakashi said as he gestured for Akie to go ahead of him. Akie huffed in annoyance as she turned around to walk out of the room. 'This should be fun getting her to lose her cool, painful, but fun. I shall get the information I need to see what this is all about.' Kakashi thought as he followed Akie to his torture.
Sakura and Asuma walked into Hanachu for the second time that day to finish their exploring. The children were not playing in the park; the café only had a couple of people in it.
"There are hardly any people here now." Sakura commented to Asuma as they walked past the fountain in search for shops that they have not visited yet.
"Lunch time I believe. Looks like this is the sort of village that would be home for lunch." Asuma replied as he looked around cautiously at the building that they were walking past. As they rounded the corner near the café that they were first interrogated at a noise near by put them on alert. *Rustle rustle* came from a alley near by. Asuma placed Sakura behind him as the noises got closer from the alleyway.
"Hey!" Sakura said as Asuma pushed her behind him irritated that he would actually do something like that. Just as Sakura was about to say something more the little voice in the back of her head made itself known once again. 'Shut up… This is what he was talking about earlier. You need to be more of the wife that you are suppose to be acting like.' The chibi Sakura said. '"But I can take care of myself"' Sakura thought to herself as Asuma continued to stare at the alleyway like something may jump out to engage them. 'No, you are the newly wed that is a Civilian. Not the student of the Hokage.' Inner Sakura yelled this time. Just as Sakura was going to reply to her now two inner voices a cry came from the alley way followed by a loud crash.
"Stay here Sakura." Asuma said as he walked in to the alleyway on high alert.
"Fine, but that sounded like a child not a murderous villain." Sakura told Asuma as he walked away. As Asuma was about to enter that alley a small child came running out looking around for something and ran into Asuma.
"Whoa there little thing. What are you doing in the alleyway." Asuma asked the child that was now on the ground looking up at them.
"Please mister, my brother, he is caught under some heavy stuff. You have to help before they get here." The young child asked as he sprang up from the ground and grabbed Asuma by the hand. Asuma made a motion to Sakura to follow him into the alleyway. As they walked further into the alleyway they could see a pill of pallets and various other things had fallen over and into the alleyway. "We were right here looking threw the cans when the stuff just fell over." The little child stated as he looked at the pile. "Hiro. Hiro. Answer me please. Don't leave me." The little child cried as looking at the pile of debris. "Please help."
"Kei…" moaned Hiro from somewhere under the debris.
"Hiro!" Kei exclaimed as she frantically started to move the debris that was on top of her brother with her bare hands. "I got help. Please don't die."
"Asuma help now." Sakura said as she ran to the pile and started to move the wreckage out of the way looking for the buried Hiro. Asuma went to the other side of Kei and started to move the pile very quickly. Their work was fast but it needed to be if they were to find Hiro before anything else happened.
"Sakura. Over here I see him." Asuma yelled as he started to move the pallets with more care. "Hiro can you hear me?" Asuma yelled as he got closer to the fallen boy.
"Kei, *mumble mumble*" Hiro replied in a small whoosh of air. The other two made their way to where Asuma was and started to move the pile as well.
"Hiro!" Kei cried as she saw her brother. As she started to climb over the remaining debris to get to her brother the pile started to shift causing Hiro to cry out in pain.
"Kei. Stop you cannot go that way." Sakura cried out as she grabbed Kei around the waist and lifted her off of the pile and behind her. "The pile is still too unstable, climbing on it can cause more to fall. Stay here while we move the rest of the pile from Hiro." Sakura said as she moved back to the pile. "Asuma, how much farther until we can get to him."
"I should be able to grab him once I move a couple of pallets out of the way, but it may unstable the rest and they could fall." Asuma replied as he continued to move the remaining pallets from around the young boy eyeing the rest of the pallets as he did so.
"Is there a way to move him and not unstable the reaming pallets?" Sakura asked as she moved to where Asuma was shifting pallets to help him clear a path.
"Yes but I will see when we get to the boy if that is an option." Asuam replied.
"Ok." Sakura said. In a few seconds of moving the pallets they could see the boy. Sakura could see that he was really hurt. "Asuma, he is hurt. We have to get him out of there now." By now there are others who heard the noise and came to investigate stood just outside the alleyway.
"Mom, Dad!" Kei cried as she saw two people running towards the alleyway.
"Kei where is Hiro" The man yelled as they got to the alleyway.
"He got buried."
"What. We have to save him. Get the others." The Man yelled as he ran into the alleyway. He stopped short when he saw the young woman grab Hiro from the pile of pallets as the pile became unstable and started to fall.
"Sakura run!" The man yelled as he covered the young woman and the boy when a piece of debris was about to hit them. The debris caused the man to loose his footing but saved the young woman and Hiro. A loud *CRASH* and a cloud of dust covered the alleyway.
"Hiro!" the man yelled as he started into the dust.
"Here dad." Came a small voice as the young woman walked out of the dust cloud with young Hiro in her arms. The young woman placed Hiro on the ground just outside of the alleyway and turned around to the pile that was now visible.
Asuma could hear Sakura calling out his name. 'Why is Sakura yelling for me?' Asuma thought as he took a breath. 'Why is it hard to breath and why does it hurt,' was his next thought. As he opened his eyes and saw only wood. 'Oh right. The young boy and the pallets fell.' As Asuma tried to move he let out a groan.
"Asuma can you hear me" came Sakuras call. 'Ok breathe in and answer her.' Thought Asuma.
"Yes…"
"Are you alright?"
"I don't know"
"Can you move"
"Not much"
"Don't move" came a male voice that seemed familiar. "We are going to move the pallets slowly to get you out.
"Hmm" was the only reply Asuma could make. As they started to shift the pallets around on top of him Asuma started to be able to breathe easier but it still hurt. Actually now that he thought about it, a lot of things hurt. As they got closer to freeing him he could start to see other things besides wood. Finally his head was free and he could see the people working to free him. It was some of the people from the café and some that he had never seen before. As he took a breath in he turned his head and saw "his" Sakura. 'When did she become his' He thought as he saw her smile when she could see him.
"Asuma." Sakura cried as she saw him. Tears ran down her face freely as she stood and ran to him. "Are you hurt" she cried as she came to where he lay.
"Sakura…" was all Asuma could say before she was clutching his shirt and crying.
"Asuma…" Sakura cried as she started to take in the sight of him. His shirt was torn and his chest was bleeding where a piece of pallet pierced him. He had a open wound on his head.
"Sakura. Shh its ok." Asuma said as he lifted his hand and rested it on her head. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he questioned as he slowly sat up.
"Don't move Asuma." Sakura said as she tried to push him back down.
"I'm fine, answer me Sakura." Asuma said as he took her small hands in his and looked down at them. They were cut and bloody, her legs had scratches on them as well. He looked up to her face and saw that she was crying. "Don't cry Sakura, please don't cry." Asuma said as he tilted her head so she was looking at him. Sakura did something that surprised Asuma. Sakura leaned in and kissed him. Her lips were soft and hesitant as she gently kissed him. Asuma opened his mouth in surprise. Sakura slowly deepened the kiss when Asuma opened his mouth. Asumas surprise did not last long as his hand moved into Sakuras hair and he slanted her mouth and took control of the kiss, his tongue stroking hers into playing. Sakura was the one to break the kiss. *SLAP* Asumas head jerked to the left as Sakura slapped him.
"Do not do that again you hear me. I was so scared." Sakura cried as she threw her arms around his neck and buried her face in his neck. Asuma smiled as he watched the others gather around Hiro as the healer finished working on him. "Sakura we should get going before they decide to confront us again." Before they could get up a man walked up to them
"Thank you for what you two have done. You saved my son Hiro." The man said as he stopped just in front of Asuma. "Are you alright?" He asked Asuma as Asuma went to stand after Sakura let go to look at the man.
"I am fine." Asuma replied as he held out a hand to Sakura to take.
"You're the people that came into town earlier." Another person said from the crowd as they looked at the couple.
"Yes we are, and we are just going to go back to the Inn. I am tired." Asuma said as he started to walk towards the opening of the alleyway.
"Not until I look at you." The healer said as he stood up from where Hiro was now sitting with Kei and a woman next to him.
"No you are not." Asuma said. "I am perfectly fine. Just some cuts and bruises. Nothing I cannot take care of. Please look after the young ones."
"No, it is my duty as a healer to make sure that you are alright. You were just buried under over a hundred pounds of wood and you are bleeding." The healer insisted as he walked towards Asuma. Asuma sidestepped the man as he grabbed Sakuras hand.
"I am fine." Asuma gritted out between his teeth.
"Mr. Healer. If there is anything wrong with my husband I will call for you." Sakura said as she stepped up to lean against Asumas chest. She could feel his labored breathing and the way that he held his arm to lessen the pain. "I promise." Sakura said as she slowly walked Asuma out of the alleyway and into the square and slowly out of town with all the towns' people watching them go but too wary to stop them to say something. Once they were out of town Sakura said "Asuma, lets get to the in quickly so I can heal you." The pair took of as quickly as they could towards the inn. Once they were too close to the Inn and risked being seen did they return to the road.
"Sakura, I think I need some help." Asuma said quietly ad his leg gave out from under him. Sakura grabbed him as he fell and managed to keep them both upright.
"Lean on me the best you can, we are almost there." Sakura said as she used her Chakra to help keep them both upright and moving. As the Inn came into view she breathed a sigh of relief. "You know that you are heavy right." Sakura asked as she continued towards the inn.
"So I have been told." Asuma said as he saw Naruto and Shikamaru walking towards them.
Shikamaru say the couple first. "Shit." He said as he took off running towards them. Naruto looked towards were Shikamaru was running and saw Sakura holding up Asuam the best she could. By the time Naruto got there Shikamaru was under Asumas other arm helping to support him. Naruto took his other arm from Sakura.
"What happened?" Shikamaru asked as they reached the Inn.
"Later. Help me get him to our room. Quickly." Sakura said as she led the way up the stairs and opened the door. "Place him on the bed." She directed. She washed her hands in the sink as the boys helped Asuma on to the bed. "Thank you. Now get out." Sakura snapped as she pushed the boys out of the room and locked the door. "Asuma we need to get you out of these clothes so I can see the damage." Sakura called from the other room.
"All right, Sakura" Asuma wheezed as he attempted to remove his shirt and pants. As his pants hit the floor, Sakura returned to the room with water and some towels to see Asuma struggling to remove his shirt.
"Let me help." Sakura said as she placed the water on the bedside table. As the shirt came off Asuma hissed in pain. "Asuma are you alright?" was the last thing that he heard before his vision went black.

Authors Note.
Please read and Review...
I am think on how to present the back story of Kakashi and Sakuras relationship and have got a couple of ideas:
- Dream sequence
- Kakashi is remembering with Sakura in his head
- Her telling Asuma straight out
- Flashback
- Memory and not tell Asuma yet
- Asuma asks the Hokage (As she knows some of what happened)
Also am think of changing the story relationship a bit... well I have just warning you now that it is going in a slightly different direction then I thought that it would go in after I reread what I have written and edited it some more.
Please don't hate me...
