“Are you mad little girl!?” he spat, and I just raised a shoulder; eyeing him lazily “Maybe”. He let out a fierce growl that shook the temple, but I stood my ground even though everything in me was begging to run. I knew what I had to do, and I needed to finish this. I raised my sword and got ready for the attack, and dodged just in time for him to try and slash my chest. His sword was drawn and we clashed, staring in each other’s eyes. He hissed “Your too late, Jensa. I’m going to have this world weather you like it or not”, I smirked “Nah, I don’t think so Set”.
            We slid our swords together, and they ended up getting thrown from our hands to the other side of the room. I growled but kept my eyes on him. Next thing I knew we were throwing punches and trying to dodge each other’s attack. I landed a couple hits to his face, and he punched me in the gut. I almost doubled over in pain, but I forced myself to recover. I had to hold out long enough for Lynn to free Isis. I uppercut him and he retaliated by slamming his palm in my chest, making me fly backwards and land in the wall behind us. I heard it crack when I hit it, and pain radiated through my skull.
            I fell to the ground and groaned, looking around the room. Lynn had finally gotten the shackles off Isis, and she stood up behind Set. I smirked, and yelped a little when Set grabbed me by the neck and picked me up. I fought to breath, and storm clouds surrounded us in the tomb, lighting striking overhead. Set’s face was nothing but hatred, and he sneered, “I’m sick of your games… now to get rid of you”. Out of nowhere, vines wrapped around Set and threw him off me, keeping him tangled and fighting. Isis walked up to him, and she waived her hand towards the sky, clearing the clouds in the temple. She sighed “You have so much hate, and that is what destroys you, Set. Peace is what we need, not a war”, Set tugged toward her “They have too much freedom! They need to be punished for their ways!”. Isis looked at him saddened, and then Set gave a crooked grin “I will not lose”.
            His eyes flashed to me, and I no longer had control over my body. I walked over to Isis and tried to hit her, making her jump away and gasp “Set! Knock it off!” she yelled and he chuckled “Why would I do that?”. I tried everything I could to break out of it, but there was no use. My body attacked her over and over again, luckily missing each hit. Thunder sounded above us, and it struck the plants holding him in place; killing them instantly. He rolled his shoulders and looked back at us, a playful glint in his eye.
            Then, I felt pain shoot through my body causing it to shake and convulse. I looked up to see a bolt of lightning passing through me and I fell to the ground motionless. Pain radiated through me, making it hard to breathe. Despite it all, my body got up and kept moving. It was slower than normal, but it didn’t stop. Isis threw a white light at me, and I barely dodged it. It grazed my shoulder and sent another pain through me. She took a deep breath and whispered something in a different language, making my body stop.
            I realized that I could move again, and not only that, but I didn’t feel any more pain. I stood up straight and smiled at her, which she returned. Then, I turned towards Set and sighed, “Lynn, shield my mind and yours as well”. I saw Lynn nod and I felt the warm feeling creep into my brain. I took a deep breath and Isis walked closer to me “I can’t fight like you can Jensa, so I will be your back up” I nodded “Yes, my lady”. I grabbed my sword and grinned at him, then the routine started again. With each strike I dealt he would try to deal another to me. He swung a sword but was surprised when it turned into a snake and slipped from his grasp.
            He hissed and jumped back “That isn’t fair Isis!” she giggled “But you electrocuting her was?”. I continued to strike and he landed some hard hits on my jaw and chest, but I didn’t falter in my steps. I swiped for his legs and he jumped back, disappearing out of nowhere. I looked around and tried to find him, when the temple became foggy and hard to see in. I moaned and tried to sense anything around, which I couldn’t find anything. I stepped towards Isis and held my arm out in front of her. I sighed “Don’t worry, I got you”, I heard a low chuckle in my ear and I slowly turned around, “I think it’s I who has you, my dear”.
            I didn’t have time to react. Set was behind me, and he slammed a blade in my stomach, straight through my back. I stared at him in disbelief and he smirked “Never trick the God of confusion, Jensa”. He slid the blade out of me, and the fog cleared as I fell to the ground. I heard Lynn yell, and Isis gasp. Then, her eyes turned white and her wings fluttered behind her furiously. I could feel my blood draining from my body, and a pool formed around me. I watched as Set and Isis fought each other with white orbs and black ones. The temple was taking a beating and vines with thorns on them wrapped around Set. I looked over at Lynn and she slid me a dagger. It was the dagger I needed to kill Set, and I had to finish no matter what.
            I watched Set struggle with the vines and grabbed the blade. It took everything I had, but I made myself get up and run over to him. Without missing a beat, I slammed the knife in his back where his heart was, and made sure it went all the way through. I took a deep breath and whispered in his ear “Never turn your back on the enemy. Even if you think you killed them”, Set let out a breath “I swore you were dead”. Isis smiled at him “I chose Jensa for a reason. She is the strongest among my people. You can not kill her that easy”, Set stared at her with hatred as his skin started to discetergrate “I will return again, and I’ll be coming for you”.
            His body turned to ash, and the dagger fell to the ground with a loud thud. I couldn’t stand anymore, I lost too much blood. I went to fall backwards but was caught by Isis. She shushed me and stroked my hair to keep me calm. The boys ran in after a minute and saw me lying there in my blood. James and Adam’s color drained from their face and they ran over to me. Luke went to check on Lynn, before they joined us. James fell to his knees, eyes filled with tears “No, no, no please Jensa” Isis smiled at him “Do not fear James. I won’t let her die”.
            He finally looked up and a confused look fell on his face “Lady Luna?”, Isis nodded and then looked at me “Jensa, I need you to listen sweetie”. I met her gaze and took a deep breath. She sighed, “My time is over, and I need a replacement. I am going to give you my powers so you can take my place and survive. You will now be the Goddess of Earth, Sky, and Healing. Please, lead our people towards peace. You will still be immortal and my powers are all yours”. She placed her hands on my chest and a huge light surrounded us. I felt my wound heal and power surge through me. I saw her fade away, and the last thing I heard her say was “I know you’ll make me proud”.
            The light faded, and I felt better than I have in a long time. I could feel so much power inside me, almost like I was invincible. I stood up slowly, and everyone’s eyes were huge. I looked at them confused until I saw a mirror next to me. I gasped and took a closer look. I was now dressed in a long flowing gown that exposed my arms and back. It fell loosely around me and a gold belt was around my waist. My eyes were the lightest blue I have ever seen, and my skin had a beautiful soft glow to it. The thing that got me the most was the gold crown on my head. It looked like small leafs branching out of a vine.
            I gave a small smile, and the team got on one knee and bowed. James smirked “At your service, goddess”, I placed a hand on his shoulder “I guess I am queen now… so that makes you the leader of the Apollo’s. I am so proud of all of you”. James looked up and met my gaze “Not as proud as I am of you sis. You look beautiful”, Adam sighed, “That’s an understatement”. Lynn nodded, “So, what now my lady?”. I took a deep breath, “You are all my bodyguards now. We go back to the sand to report our success, then, we go home”.
We walked to the Sand village, happy that it was finally over. When we reached the gates, Gaara and his siblings were waiting for us. When they all saw me, they had shocked looks on thier faces. I stopped in front of Gaara and smiled "Lady Luna has passed. Turns out she was the goddess Isis and I am her replacement" Gaara pursed his lip "You're... you're a goddess now?". I nodded and James spoke up "The enemies have been eliminated, including Set. We are heading home now". Gaara and I shared a look of sadness, and I took a deep breath "We will stay another night and rest. We leave at dawn, if it's alright with you, Kazakage". He gave a short nod "You can stay whenever you'd like, Goddess".
We each went to our rooms, and I stared at myself in the mirror for a long time. I couldn't believe what I become, and what my new purpose was. Gaara walked into the room a second later, hessitant on what to do. That night, we stayed up and talked about what we were going to do about us, and we even enjoyed each other for a while; making it a night to remember.
