Meanwhile the group was down in the alley way already and Itachi told them all to be quiet as they slid passed some of the zombie, just sitting there staring wide eyes at the light of the moon. Kiko became terrified and she clung to Naruto's back resisting screaming and Temari rolled her eyes at the only other girl of the group being a complete wimp. Hidan was furthest behind the group, keeping his distance and Temari caught onto this, he was diffidently hiding something, but she forgot about it thinking it was just her imagination getting to her.

Naruto blinked then knelt down so Kiko could get on his back and started to carry her. "Shh its alright.."He whispered then bowed his head a little still upset that Gaara had been bitten. Kankuro pulled out a knife from his pocket and used it to check around corners. "This area is clear.." He whispered to Itachi and then zipped his coat up since it was cold. Suigetsu was staying close to Sasuke wanting to make sure he was safe, the black haired male had a habit of rushing into things if something was wrong.

Kiko hesitantly got on the blond's back and she held both of their packs. "Are you sure You can run properly l-like this..?" she whispered only to stiffen when one of the zombie's heads snapped over. Itachi pulled a fordable cross bow form his pack setting it up and aiming it at the zombie quickly. Since everyone froze it went back to just staring at the moon and Itachi glared at Kiko the girl giving an apologetic look. The nurse sighed a little and she moved back starting to walk next to Hidan since everyone seemed to be matched up in pairs as Kankuro and Itachi led the group.

Naruto let out the breath he was holding and kept walking, Kiko was pretty light so the blond had no trouble at all carrying her. He moved so he could walk next to Temari and reached out to pat her shoulder knowing she was still sad. Kankuro froze when he heard screaming but he realized it was far away so it had nothing to do with them. 'There may be other people..' He thought and let his hand rest on the gun on his hip.

Itachi heard the screaming and he told Kankuro, "We need to change routes, that is where we needed to go," He said before turning a different corner. Temari jumped when Naruto touched her but then she smiled at him whispering, "I am fine Naruto..." Kiko Frowned a little shifting holding the two bags and Hidan noticed this moving forward and taking her bags to be somewhat nice, holding both hers and Naruto's since he didn't have one. She gave a silent thank you then wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck to hold onto him better.

Kankuro nodded and turned his head when he heard a scratching sound but couldn't see anything. 'The hell was that..' He wondered. Naruto looked back at Hidan and gave a thumbs up before looking back at Temari. "You sure? You look so down...don't worry I refuse to leave the city unless Lee and redhead are with us." He whispered and tensed when there was a loud crash behind him and turned to see that Ian and walked into a trash can. "S-Sorry." Ian said and Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Shh be qui-" Itachi quickly quieted down with a pack of zombie kids and an undead cat immediately turned their attention to the noise and sniffed. "Run! There is a blocked off alley way two blocks down, go go go!" He yelled aiming the bow at the children. Kiko resisted screaming again being scared and she hid her face in Naruto's back happy he was there to protect her. "Fuck, I will stay and help you guys go," Hidan said handing off the clothes to the nurse who started to run with everyone else.

Naruto gasped then started running. "Hidan come on!" He yelled and tightened his grip on Kiko's legs not wanting her to slip off his back. Kankuro pulled out his gun and turned the safety off and got ready to fire. Suigetsu grabbed Sasuke's hand and gripped it tightly not wanting his boyfriend to get lost.

"Just fucking go," Hidan said and then he shivered a little seeing a pack of dogs come out and start running at him cuing the others to do so as well. Hidan sighed and he glanced down at his leg where he had been bit before without telling anyone and he glanced back at the group. "Well may as well fucking save some lives," He said before starting to fight off the zombies. Temari watched in horror as he was being eaten on the floor and she quickly pushed everyone along. Itachi shook his head then ran forward and lead everyone into the alley way, closing the gate and giving them all a shush signal.

Naruto panted and set Kiko down, he then climbed up onto a dumpster and pulled himself onto the roof. Kankuro blinked watching him and walked over to Temari to make sure she was alright. 'What is Naruto up to?' He thought. Naruto pulled a satellite off the roof then throw it as far as he could making it hit a car, the alarm went off and the zombies around the buildings started to go over to it. 'Ha! Now we can move about more freely.' Naruto thought smirking and got down back into the ally. "All the zombies went that way..though for the big things I don't know.." He said and grinned when Suigetsu gave him a high five.

"Naruto-kun you are a genius!" Kiko squealed happily and she leaned in kissing Naruto softly. Then she turned red realizing what she did and pulled back looking away. "I U-uh.. which way do we go now?" she questioned quickly trying to get everyone's minds off the fact she just kissed Naruto. Temari blinked and folded her arms a little having to admit, "Nice one Naruto... Alright... when we were running here I saw a car garage across the street. If we can get over there I can hot-" "No cars," Itachi retorted, "Zombies can see the lights and they are too noisy, we stay on foot." He told everyone. "No! A car is safer, you have more protection it goes faster and you can carry more things," Temari growled back in response. Itachi blinked his eyes at the woman starting an argument with him, "They also can get stuck easier and or run out of fuel at some point!" The oldest woman there sighed rubbing her forehead, "Guys..." Tsunade tried to coax but they didn't listen.

Kankuro sighed and rubbed his temples. "Oh boy...well I have radios if the group splits up..I also left one back at the safe house." He said and leaned on the wall. Naruto was in shock but snapped out of it and blushed a dark red. "W-Well uh I had to do something.." He said to Kiko and scratched his cheek. Suigetsu stared blankly at the group then leaned on Sasuke. "Your brother is so bossy." He said in a bored tone. Ian was looking around getting worried that something might attack them again. "C-Can we go please?"

"Look I didn't want to drag around a bunch of brats all day anyways, I left Sasuke alone because I figured he would be smart enough to save himself, and now look what I get dragged into!" "Yeah... he has always been like that..." Sasuke said with a sour face glaring at his elder brother who was really starting to get on his nerves. "Heh brat? You are the one who is a child! Why not try idea's before you spew shit out of no where!" The angered blond yelled. Kiko blinked at Temari and moved closer to Naruto snuggling into him somewhat waiting for them to argue. "SHUT UP!" The nurse finally yelled and they all froze. "Good now listen, I am the oldest and I am taking care of you KIDS, yes Itachi-san you are a KID," She growled at him before moving over to look through the fence. "We are taking cars, it will be a safer way to deal with this, but one of us will be taking the bait car while the others take a safer car." She said and Temari gave a confused look, "Huh?" "When we get the cars, one group will go with a car that we will purposely set the alarm off on, this will attract the zombies and they while follow it and already be gone by the time the safe car comes around," she told them.

Kankuro sweat dropped and crossed his arms. "Uh...fuck no..." He said and looped his arm around his sisters shoulders. "No no no no no! What the hell? Doing that would bring in all the big things around us...lets just keep sneaking around." Naruto said waving his arms and pouted. Suigetsu rolled his eyes and poked Sasuke in the head. "Can...we...just...goooo."

Lee gasped when he heard the alarm right outside where they were and he sat up quickly looking out the window only to frown seeing a car alarm going off and a herd of zombies surrounding the area. 'There goes any chance of going out to get supplies...' He thought then he looked down to Gaara frowning seeing he was burning up. The older male reached for the aspirin but then remembered what Itachi had said and he got up, wetting a cloth and coming back putting it on Gaara's forehead to cool him down a bit.

Gaara made a small noise feeling the cloth then opened his eyes to look up at Lee. "You shouldn't stay so close...what if I infect you.." He muttered and lifted a hand to pull the chain out from under his head. "I bet you 20 bucks that Naruto was the one to set the alarm off...he loves doing that.." He said smirking a little then sat up when he started to cough.

"Hey relax and just lay down Gaara-kun you need your rest... and I do not care if you infect me..." He said in a soothing voice leaning in and kissing Gaara softly on the lips, "Now lay back down... I will find us something that I can make to eat okay?"

Gaara blushed then lifted his hands and pushed Lee back and away from him. "I do! I d-don't want you to go through what I am going through...neh stop kissing me what if I can infect you through spit?" He asked though deep down he really didn't want Lee to stop kissing him...but he didn't want Lee to suffer ether. He sat up more and frowned not enjoying the sound of the chain scrapping along the floor.

Lee leaned in and wanted to steal a kiss from his lover again, "Then so be it... I will suffer anything you do... you are who I love the most and if you die I do not want to live without you..." Lee said and he got that kiss he wanted, kissing the redhead and pushing him carefully against the headboard of the bed so he couldn't pull away again.

Gaara's eyes widened in surprise and he felt them burn a little. "M-Mmf.." He tried to push the older male away again and felt a bigger ache in his heart. 'N-No...I can't get him infected..I d-don't want Lee to have anymore pain...h-he really loves me to the point he can't live without me..? N-No that can't be we have barely even been together..' He thought though he felt the same way.

Lee pulled back and he frowned, "Do you not want to spend your last days with me...?" Lee asked but then he realized his request was silly and he got off of the bed. "I am sorry.. forget it..." He said folding his arms and sighing staring at the gun he rest on the night stand before shaking his head and walking over to where they stored the food going to find something.

Gaara winced and got up shakily. "L-Lee I do...I just don't want to infect you...I don't want you to die...my body is in so much pain you don't need to feel something like that." He said and tried to walk over to him but had the stop once he reached the full length of the chain. "I w-want you to kiss me...b-but I would feel horrible if I infected you.." He said his eyes tearing up and bowed his head. He started coughing hard and back up as he spit up more blood. 'I hate this...I don't want to become one of those things!' He thought dropping to his knees as he kept coughing.

The older male's eyes widened in a panic. Was Gaara okay? He just suddenly collapsed and it scared him. He rushed over and started to rub his back soothingly whispering sweet nothings into his ear. "Shhh.... it is okay.. I know you are in pain... you just need to relax and enjoy yourself... I do not care if I get infected.. nothing can be worse than the pain of possibly loosing you... just hold on Gaara we will find a cure..." Came his rich voice into the younger boy's ear and he grinned at him before getting another tissue, wiping Gaara's mouth when he was done with his coughing fit. "I will make you some food and I will get you some water.. you should try to keep it down to keep your strength up so you can fight this off alright?" Lee said kissed Gaara's forehead softly.

Gaara ran his sleeve over his eyes then nodded and hugged the older male but had to be careful cause of his arm. "O-Ok...I j-just need to know....if I c-change...what are you going to do?" He asked and struggled to get back onto his feet and moved so he was sitting on the bed, he tugged a little at the chain not liking it at all. "I-If I get worse...you need to tie me down or something.." He said and laid down.

"I refuse to tie you down.. that is inhumane... I will close the door as Sasuke said to... you are my lover and I will not leave you..." Lee said leaning into him and nuzzling the redhead lightly. Though he couldn't help the thought that crossed him mind, 'What will I do when he changes...? I do not think I can let him live like that... and or live without him....'

Gaara hugged the older male tightly and laid his head on his shoulder. "Ok...thank you.. I'm glad you stayed..I would have broken down if you weren't here.." He muttered and then lifted a hand to playfully mess up Lee's hair like he had always done before.

Lee blinked and then he leaned into the smaller boy a little, grinning at him pushing his thoughts away. "I would never leave you... I love you way too much..." He whispered kissing Gaara again before his brown eyes found Gaara's and he gazed into them, trying to find the light in his lover's eyes that made him feel so happy.

Gaara blushed and slowly kissed back but tried to be careful not wanting to infect his lover. He pulled back after a moment not wanting the kiss to get to far and tensed hearing a bang outside.. "At lest those things don't know we are here.." He muttered wincing a little and moving his hand down to grip onto Lee's.

"Shh... it is alright I would never let them get to you again even if they were here..." He said in a soft tone gently pushing Gaara over to the bed and making him sit down. "Now relax okay...? I am going to go back to to get us some food ready.. okay? I will be right there..." He said in a soothing tone, gently rubbing Gaara's shoulders.

Gaara gave a sad smile and nodded. "Alright...no hurting yourself by being clumsy." He said trying to be playful. He then flopped down on the bed and then curled up again feeling he was suddenly cold. 'I feel like I have the worst flu ever...at lest I haven't thrown up anything...well if I don't count the blood..' He thought glancing at the floor.

Lee gave one more worried glance to his redhead lover before going to the storage area. He found a few cans of food of things that did not need to be opened and found some plastic forks before walking back into the room. Sitting down he opened the cans and set them aside, pulling the blankets over Gaara. "Hey.. are you okay?" He questioned getting a bottle of water before sitting on the bed.

"I don't know...my body hurts everywhere..can you bring me a bucket I am tired of getting blood everywhere.." Gaara muttered then stared up at his boyfriend, his eyes showing how stressed he was. "Is there anything you want to know about me..? This could be your last chance to...ask.."

Lee reached over and he ran his thumb over Gaara's chin. "Hey... do not say it like that..." He mumbled before getting up and getting him a bucket. After setting the tin bucket to the side he held the bottle of water to Gaara. "Tell me what ever you want.. we have been friends forever..."

Gaara sat up a little and took the water bottle, after opening it he drank down half the bottle. "Well...here is something..in middle school I kept having dreams of us getting um...married..." He said blushing before taking another sip of the water. "Did you have any odd dreams?"

Lee blinked and blushed a little taking the bottle from Gaara and giving him the can of food. "Um.. not really..." He said but then he thought about the fact these were Gaara's last days, possibly hours. "Well.. there was one reoccurring one.. of you... you and me would be happy and living together.. sharing meals in bed while we cuddle," He said then laughed a little looking at the cans on the bed. "I guess it has come true now huh..?"

Gaara looked up at him then scooted over so Lee could lay beside him. "Hey who knows..maybe they will find a cure and we will get out of here.." He said and reached out grabbing Lee's hand and pulling him to the bed. "M-Maybe my dream will come true.." He said his cheeks turning a deep red color. He knew he had to stay strong...if they got out of this alive he was going to stay with Lee forever.

"If we get out of this alive I swear on my life.. I will propose to you.. it may not be the same as your dreams... but I will be there..." he said in a loving voice snuggling beside Gaara. He held his hand while his other one poked at his food, knowing he needed it but he couldn't muster up the gut to intake the food.

Gaara blushed darker and sat up more then leaned over to kiss Lee lovingly on the cheek. "Alright...and if we get out of here I would say yes.." Gaara replied and snuggled into his side and finished up his food. He blinked when he noticed Lee wasn't eating and frowned. "Eat...you need your strength.." He muttered.

Lee blinked then smiled a little at Gaara, "Oh yeah, right. Sorry Gaara-kun..." Then he ate his food slowly and when he was done he set the can to the side, letting out another soft sigh. "At least we get plenty of time together right?" He said in a calm voice to the redhead.

Gaara nuzzled his head into his shoulder and gave a small nod, he covered his mouth when he started to cough a little again. "Ugh...where is all this blood coming from?" He muttered then whipped his hand off on his pants. "Do you think the rest of our group is ok..?" He asked and stared at the wall in front of them.

"Yes.. I think they are perfectly fine.. you just have to relax Gaara-kun.. come on.. Let us rest again..." He said before gently pulling the smaller boy down to where he was laying down, holding him close until he fell asleep.
