Chapter 13: The Battle of the Jinchuriki

The Konoha Arena
As explosions echoed throughout the village all the attention of the arena was diverted away from the two combatants in the arena.
Those shinobi with chakra sensing abilities were nervous and looking for the spiking chakra signals being fired off from around the village and its surrounds.
“Ino, Kakashi sensei what is it what’s happening?” Sakura asked the silver haired Jonin as he pulled up his headband to reveal his Sharingan.
‘What the hell how did they get this close?’ “We’re under attack, prepare to defend yourselves.” Kakashi said as he focused his Sharingan on the far side of the arena where the Hokage and Kazekage were standing.
All of their attentions were drawn to the arena floor where a dozen bursts of smoke erupted. From the smoke emerged twenty man squads of Sand, Sound and Stone shinobi except for the smoke cloud in the centre of the arena. From this smoke cloud emerged two Stone ninja one a red haired and red bearded wore a light red full sleeved shirt with black pants and calf high sandals over mesh armour. The other taller than his compatriot wore red samurai like armour with a furnace on its back the armour is covered by a black gi with the sleeves torn off. The outfit is completed with black pants, red boots and black combat gloves.
“Oh no not them!” Kakashi whispered as a chill of fear ran down his spine.
“What’s the matter Kakashi sensei? Who are those two?” Sakura asked looking between her sensei and the two Stone ninja.
“They are Roshi and Han they are the two Jinchuriki of the Hidden Stone.” Kakashi replied as his mind scrambled to formulate a counter strategy.
“You mean they are like Naruto?” Sakura asked.
“How do you know that about Naruto?” Kakashi replied angrily as he glared at his pink haired student.
“The villagers they call him a demon, a monster, why?”
“That was supposed to be a secret that he is a Jinchuriki on pain of death. It was to be his decision alone on who he would tell this secret.” Kakashi replied with a sigh. “But back to those two only a Jinchuriki or a kage level ninja can take those two on.”
“Kakashi there are four Jinchuriki in that arena. Three maybe all four of them are enemies what is your plan?” Gai asked his longtime rival/friend.
“I’m not sure, but we have to definitely get them out of the village where they can’t do any major damage and we have to kill as many of those foot soldiers as possible, without losing any of our own.” Kakashi replied as he studied the enemy formations in the arena as well as looking through the audience for any hidden enemies.
“So let them make the first move then react and counter with our own strategy.” Gai replied as he nodded his head as he thought through Kakashi’s thought patterns.

All of the audience’s attentions were drawn to where the Hokage and Kazekage had been sitting. They watched in horror as the Hokage’s two bodyguards were attacked by four hooded and cloaked ninja. They watched as the Hokage scrambled out of his chair dodging the attack of the Kazekage’s remaining bodyguard. Standing behind the evading Hokage was the masked Kazekage who grabbed the Hokage from behind holding a kunai to his throat.
“What is the meaning of this Kazekage?” The Hokage said as he readied himself to fight the man holding him hostage.
“Oh sensei I’m hurt that you don’t recognize me.” The Kazekage said in a familiar voice.
“Orochimaru you are behind this? What have you done with the Kazekage?” The Hokage demand as he looked over his shoulder at his former student.
“He’s food for the buzzards somewhere in that stinking desert he called home.” Orochimaru snarled as he tightened the kunai against the Hokage’s throat. “Now watch this see how much power I control.”
“Begin, kill them all, and destroy the Hidden Leaf Village.” Orochimaru yelled out the order. Instantly the crowd erupted into panic as the arena burst into chaos and pandemonium. The dozen squads of foreign ninja erupted into movement as they jumped up into the stands to attack civilian and shinobi alike.
“You see how much power I have sensei? Now you will watch the fall of the Hidden Leaf and when your failure is complete I will kill you.” Orochimaru hissed in his hostage’s ear.
“Ok guys time to act let’s get to the competitors box so I can inform Hinata, Shino and Shikamaru on the plan, Gai help Lee get to safety and get some of those Chunins over there to lead the civilians to the shelters.” Kakashi asked as he blocked a pair of Shuriken thrown at Sakura. “Guys stay close and watch your surroundings you will have to kill to survive.” Kakashi said.
At the same time Gai was informing the six closest Chunin of Kakashi’s plan before letting one of them lead Lee away before he returned to his friend’s side. “Ready to move whenever you are Kakashi.”
“Good let’s get going, I’ll lead the rest of you follow behind me, Gai take up the rear.” Kakashi ordered as they begun to make their way down onto the arena floor.

In the centre of the arena Gaara was in a partial transformation halfway between his Tailed beast mode and his normal birth form. Across from him Sasuke’s body was covered in black marks as his body was absorbing the power of the Curse Mark’s stage one.
To Gaara’s right and Sasuke’s left the two Stone Jinchuriki were both being enveloped in the orange aura of their perspective Stage One chakra cloaks. With both in a two tailed cloak the two Stone Jinchuriki began to direct the attack against the Hidden Leaf.
Along the arena wall Kakashi led his group of ninja up towards the competitors’ area. As they passed directly below the competitors’ area two shadows passed over them. They looked up to see the other two Sand ninja jump towards their teammate and brother.
“Pick up the pace we’re almost to the entrance.” Kakashi ordered as he transitioned from sneaking to jogging.
They jogged up to the competitors’ area and came upon a standoff between Hinata, Shino and Fuu. “Hey guys what’s up, you ready to fight?” Kakashi said as they entered the area.
“We’re ready Kakashi sensei just trying to get her to help us?” Shino replied as Hinata faced the Waterfall Jinchuriki.
“Why should I fight for you, I know how you treat your Jinchuriki, is that why he isn’t here to defend you?” Fuu shouted at the assembled Leaf shinobi.
“You know nothing of Naruto.” Hinata said as she stepped closer to the Waterfall Jinchuriki.
“I know more than you think Hinata.” Fuu replied as she looked past the Hyuga heiress to the silver haired Jonin. “So why should I help defend your village Kakashi of the Sharingan Eye?” she asked the silver haired Jonin.
“Well if you don’t I’ll declare you an enemy of the Leaf and I’ll kill you here and now.” Kakashi replied as he channeled chakra into his right hand so that lightning was arcing from his palm.
“Fine I’ll help you defend your village. What do you want me to do?” She asked the silver haired Jonin who rushed past her and thrust his hand through the heart of a Sound ninja as he landed on the area’s hand rail ready to throw a pair of kunai which fell from his open hand.
“You, Gai and I are going to take on those two Stone Jinchuriki while the rest of you Genin are going to help defend the arena from these invaders. Shikamaru you will lead the other Genin” Kakashi said as he laid out his plans.
“Hey Kakashi need some help?” a male voice said from behind them.
“Asuma, Kurenai, definitely we could use some help we’re going to confront those two Stone Jinchuriki.” Kakashi replied.
“Jinchuriki? I wonder were they the ones that attacked that destroyed border town Anko was sent to investigate.” Kurenai thought aloud.
“Enough standing around we have a mission to do so let’s get to it.” Kakashi said as he and Gai jumped from the railing down to the arena floor. They were followed by Kurenai and Asuma and behind them reluctantly following was Fuu.
With the Jonin gone Shikamaru turned to the other Genin and lone Chunin in Haku. “So are you ready for this, I think our best course of action is to help Sasuke with those three Sand Genin.” Shikamaru said as he analyzed the situation around them.
“Let’s go, follow Kakashi and the others down.” Shikamaru said as he stepped onto the railing and followed after their Jonin senseis.
The rest of them followed Shikamaru down to the arena floor and moved to support Sasuke who was still in the middle of a stand-off with Gaara who was almost fully transformed into the One Tail.
“Stay back all of you, I don’t need your help.” Sasuke snarled never taking his eyes off of the Sand’s Jinchuriki.

At the same time as the Genin stand-off the four Jonin and Fuu were standing across from the two Stone Jinchuriki.
“Do you four have a death wish or something?” the taller of the two cloaked Jinchuriki said, his voice carrying around the arena.
“We will not allow you to destroy our home like you did at the border town.” Kurenai yelled out trying to confirm her suspicions.
“What village, we have been near no other village since we left our own village.” The shorter of the two replied to the black haired woman who could sense they spoke the truth that they had not had any involvement in the destruction of the border village.
“Why have you invaded us after your defeats during the border skirmishes?” Kakashi asked stepping forward to stand in front of his friends.
“Because your village is weak and without allies, your secret weapon and anybody with the power to stop us is dead. With the destruction of the Leaf our land is secured from invasion and conflict.” The smallest one replied.
The four Jonin watched in trepidation as the two Stone Jinchuriki transformed into their tailed beast form before their very eyes.
Roshi the red haired Jinchuriki and the smaller of the two changed from his Stage One two tailed cloaked form into a large four tailed red furred monkey. Next to him the giant of a man Han transformed from his two tailed cloaked form into a five tailed horse/goat-like hybrid. Both roared at the four Jonin in front of them. Behind the four Jonin Fuu hand slipped into a Stage One three tailed chakra cloak.
They all dodged out of the way as the four tailed red monkey breathed a spurt of greenish flame at them. They were forced to dodge again as the five tails attacked breathing a blast of boiling steam that shrouded the two tailed beasts from view.
“Everybody watch your surroundings and fall back away from the steam cloud.” Kakashi yelled his order as he and Gai jumped back away from the five tails smokescreen.
“Gai look out!” Kakashi yelled as a red furred fist raced out of the steam towards the green jumpsuit wearing Jonin. Gai was able to block the punch but was still sent flying away to smash into the wall of the arena.
To Kakashi’s left Asuma was in between the charging Five Tails and Kurenai who was halfway through a series of hand signs. Kakashi his right hand sparking with lightning was off like a bolt of lightning as he raced towards the charging Five-Tails unprotected flank. Five meters out from the charging horse/goat hybrid Kakashi jumped at the tailed beast only to be intercepted by two tails and flicked away to crash into the wall next to where Gai hit.
“At this rate we’ll be dead in a few minutes.” Gai said as he helped Kakashi to his feet as he spat blood from his mouth.
“I know I wish sensei were still alive he’d crush them in a second.” Kakashi whispered as he struggled to stay on his wobbly feet.
“I wish Naruto was here, he’d be able to take them both, I wonder if this is why he is missing?” Gai replied as he prepared to get back into the fight.
“What you think he was abducted so he couldn’t defend the village? How would any of them known he was a Jinchuriki it was supposed to be a secret.” Kakashi replied questioningly.
“Remember what Sakura said if the villagers are openly calling Naruto a demon, or monster then any spy would put two and two together, besides he’s the spitting image of his father.” Gai replied as he stood tall with Kakashi by his side both ready to get back into the fight.
“You may be right, but he isn’t here and we’ve got to go all out to defeat these two.” Kakashi replied as he studied the fight between the two Stone Jinchuriki and Asuma and Kurenai.
“Gonna have to go all out huh, all right.” Gai said as he whispered. “Gate Three, Gate of Life, open.” In a flash he was gone running strait at the closer of the two Tailed Beasts. Gai jumped high above the five tailed horse/goat hybrid and dived straight down for the head of the Five-Tails. Just above the head of the Five-Tails Gai struck with a straight right hand punch to the back of Five-Tails head right between the horns on its head. With a supersonic boom the Five-Tails head snapped down to crash into the arena floor creating a crater just a bit bigger than the Five-Tails head. As he landed he was swept off his feet and sent flying by a single tail of the Four-Tails back past the on rushing Kakashi to slam once again into the wall of the arena creating another crater in the wall.

“Hey Kurama you sense what I sense?” Naruto asked his furry tenant.
“Yes they are my brethren; I sense four of them in that direction.” Kurama said as his consciousness pointed Naruto towards the arena.
“Wait four Tailed Beasts in the village, wasn’t their only two before… well you know.” Naruto replied as he continued to run along the rooftops towards the sounds of screaming and the clashing ring of steel on steel. Below him streaming towards the Hokage Monument being led by teams of Genin and Chunin were hundreds of civilians.
‘So weak won’t even fight for their own survival just run away and let others fight and die so they are safe fucking pitiful.’ Naruto thought as he spat the bad taste from his mouth.
“Focus Naruto we’re almost to the arena.” Kurama said in his head as he continued to run towards the arena and the four other Jinchuriki.
‘That reptilian scent it’s so familiar.’ Naruto thought coming upon the arena. Stopping on the roof of the last building before the arena he thought about all the different scents he could smell and the movement of chakra signals.
“That scent it’s Orochimaru what is he doing with the Hokage? Why isn’t the Hokage fighting is he in on this?” Naruto asked aloud as he began to form a plan.
‘Best to come in from above that will give me the element of surprise.’ Naruto thought as he memorized the movement of scent and chakra signals.
With his plan set Naruto dropped off of the roof and ran to the arena stopping at the outer wall he looked around before he ran up the outer wall of the arena and onto the roof. On the roof of the arena directly across from Naruto was the Hokage the hostage of Orochimaru.
“Orochimaru I’ll kill you!” Naruto screamed as he threw his head back. Above his head balls of red and blue chakra began to merge together creating a large black sphere. Naruto swallowed the sphere and levelling his head to look at Orochimaru and the Hokage he missed the four Sound ninja that were in position around the two.
“Look there sensei young Naruto has fallen under the Nine-Tails influence and it is going to try and kill me with a Tailed Beast Bomb, killing you as well.” Orochimaru laughed as he watched Naruto prepare his devastating jutsu. Looking at the closest of the four Sound ninja he nodded his head and gave the order they had been waiting for. “Bring up the barriers.”
“Tailed Beast Bomb!” Naruto called in his head following Kurama’s instructions as he fired of a massive black ball of chakra at Orochimaru and the Hokage.
As the seven tailed Stage Two Naruto fired off his jutsu the four Sound ninja placed their hands on the roof of the arena and channeled chakra into a seal. “Four Violet Flames Formation.” They chanted together before lifting their hands two walls of a purplish black color erupted from the roof to surround the four ninja and the two people in the center of the formation.
The Tailed Beast Bomb crashed into the double barrier erupting into an orange inferno that engulfed the entire barrier.
“Shit, that stupid fucking asshole I’ll kill him.” Naruto ranted as the inferno dissipated to nothing. Inside the barrier Naruto watched as the Hokage broke free of Orochimaru who was distracted with ordering his four underlings.

With no way to break the barrier surrounding Orochimaru Naruto began surveying the battle raging throughout the arena. Naruto looked down upon the fighting in the middle of the arena and watched as Gaara toyed with Sasuke and some of the other Leaf Genin who were attempting to help the struggling Uchiha, while Kakashi and the other Jonin struggled against the two Stone Jinchuriki.
With the two Stone Jinchuriki battling below him he struck from their blind spots. Dropping from his vantage point above them Naruto punched straight down at the back of the head of the four tailed red monkey, smashing its head into the ground creating another crater to those that already littered the battlefield. Landing on all fours between the two Tailed Beasts, Naruto mule kicked the Five-Tails in the ribs sending the beast flying to crash through the battered wall of the arena. The screams of shinobi and civilian alike echoed through the arena as they were crushed beneath the giant hulking body of the Five-Tails.
Spinning back to face the struggling Four-Tails, Naruto swiped his right hand across the face of the Four-Tails leaving four scratch marks across the monkey like face. Naruto continued with his forward momentum to launch himself into a jumping spinning hook kick to the monkey like face snapping it back and to the right forcing the monkey to spin back away from the enraged Naruto who stopped short of chasing the four tailed monkey as the four tails that would have connected with his head swept by harmlessly in front of him.
“And where the hell have you been?” The four tailed First Stage chakra cloaked Fuu asked as she stood side by side next to Naruto.
“Shut up and fight.” Naruto growled bolting past the recovering Four-Tails to launch himself at the struggling Five-Tails.
‘What’s got into him, he’s been gone a month and he’s almost a different person. Where did all this hate come from? Was it always there and he was suppressing it or did I just miss it?’ Fuu thought as she squared off against the Four-Tails as they circled each other.
Naruto crashed into the Five-Tails and crashed through the hole in the arena wall. Naruto landed on top of the Stone Jinchuriki and pinned its neck with his right hand.
“Surrender or DIE!” Naruto growled as red and blue chakra balls began to smash together to form a black ball of super dense chakra in front of his mouth.
“You won’t survive the blast either, are you so reckless to destroy yourself and half your village just to kill me?” A male voice said inside Naruto’s head.
“You have no idea what I have planned. Besides destroying this village I don’t give a shit for is just child’s play. But I won’t let you, your village, Orochimaru or anyone else harm my mates.” Naruto growled in the horse like face pinned under his clawed hand. “Now surrender or die.” Naruto growled as both his hands grabbed the horse like head and spinning on his right foot to gain momentum Naruto threw the Five-Tails high into the air.
Stopping from his spinning throw Naruto planted all seven of his tails into the street’s surface. Using his seven tails as leverage to stabilize his body Naruto fired off his Tailed Beast Bomb at the thrown Five-Tails.
Before the Five-Tails could block the Beast Bomb with his horns the jutsu exploded in his face sending him flying even higher in to the sky fire licking at his furry face and neck, singeing his skin below.
As the Beast Bomb exploded Naruto launched himself after the Five-Tails, passing through the blast waves and the firestorm that was the result of his exploding jutsu. Naruto landed an uppercut on the disoriented Five-Tails before grabbing its horned head and tossing the horse-like creature down to crash into the street once again creating yet another crater.
Naruto plummeted after the Five-Tails and landed on top of it his knees driving into the creatures ribs as his hands once again went for the creatures neck.
“You actually have precious people, people who care for you even knowing what you are?” the voice painfully whispered in Naruto’s head. Below his right hand the Five-Tails struggled to breathe as it tried to break free of Naruto’s sharpened bone claws which caused Naruto to tighten his grip and his claws to pierce the flesh of the Five-Tails neck as he prepared another Tailed Beast Bomb.
“Yes, Last Warning!” Naruto warned dodging the futile tail swipes of the Five-Tails readying to use the black ball of dense chakra.
“Very well, I surrender, you have proven your strength and I’m curious to see these “mates” of yours.” The voice painfully whispered as the five tailed horse like body of the Tailed Beast disappeared to be replaced with the charred black and red steam armor of Han who groaned and gasped for air as Naruto removed his hands from Han’s throat.
“I surrender as well.” A feminine voice said behind them.

“Naruto is everything alright.” Kakashi asked as he and Gai landed next to Naruto and his two captives the Stone Jinchuriki Han and a black haired Sound Kunoichi.
“A little tired, but I’m fine Kakashi sensei.” Naruto replied stretching upwards.
“Well done Naruto to take down a Jonin level Jinchuriki all by yourself without using your Tailed Beast form.” Gai congratulated the blonde Jinchuriki before looking at the Sound Kunoichi. “So who’s she?”
“I have no idea she just surrendered to me, but she looks familiar as is her scent. I just can’t place where I have seen her before.” Naruto replied as he looked at the black haired teen.
“You really don’t remember back handing me during the Second Chunin Exam?” the black haired Kunoichi asked the blonde with a look of astonishment on her face.
“Is that it? Last time I wasn’t paying attention to any of you just Orochimaru, so much so I would’ve let my teammates die if Orochimaru hadn’t pointed out they were on death’s door.” Naruto replied scratching his head.
“Naruto if you’re ready to continue fighting I need you to take down Gaara and Roshi, we need to end the fighting.” Kakashi said as he looked back at the arena.
“I’m always ready to rumble Kakashi sensei.” Naruto grinned ready to jump back into the fray. They all spun around at the detonation of a smoke bomb.
They all spun around to face Anko as she stepped out of the smoke cloud. “Hey brat what are you doing here you’re supposed to be Missing-In-Action?” She grinned at the cloaked blonde who just grinned back. “After this you might want to disappear again, those two women of yours are pretty mad at you.” Anko joked with a wicked grin.
Naruto’s grin disappeared. “It wasn’t my fault some madman kidnapped me from the tower in the Forest of Death.” Naruto replied looking at Kakashi, even though thanks to Kurama he knew Kakashi’s memory had been wiped clean of his imprisonment at the hands of Danzo.
Naruto ran up the wall of the arena before climbing through the hole he had created earlier. Standing in the hole he looked around for his next opponent the Four-Tailed monkey or Gaara’s One-Tail form before he jumped down to the arena floor.
“What’s going on Anko, why are you here?” Kakashi asked as they watched Naruto drop back into the fray. They turned around as two Chunins walked out of two smoke clouds and walked up behind the purple haired Jonin.
“I have a few reports from Inoichi.” Anko said as she touched Kakashi’s and Gai’s arms so that Inoichi could talk to them telepathically.
“What’s up Inoichi, what do you have for us?” Kakashi asked the Yamanaka telepath.
“We have multiple reports that our forces have halted the enemy advances at the walls with the aid of Master Jiraiya. The majority of the civilians and academy students have been moved to safety in the hidden vaults. We have reports of multiple Jinchuriki fighting near the arena and that the Hokage has been taken Hostage by the Kazekage.” Inoichi informed the three linked Jonin.
“That’s good news the fighting is almost finished then?” Gai asked looking at his silver haired friend.
“Yes, the reports of fighting Jinchuriki is true, Naruto is currently fighting with the enemies two remaining Jinchuriki. And the report of the Hokage as hostage is being resolved right now he is engaged with the Kazekage, but the Kazekage may not be the real Kazekage.” Kakashi replied.
“Wait Naruto’s back, where has he been for the last month? What do you mean the Kazekage may not be the real Kazekage?” Inoichi asked in quick succession.
“When Naruto joined the fighting he called out to Orochimaru then fired off a Tailed Beast bomb at the Kazekage.” Kakashi replied before continuing, “Besides his nose is just as good as Tsume Inuzuka’s and I would trust Naruto’s instincts on this.” Kakashi finished as Anko interrupted.
“Naruto fought with Orochimaru during the Second Chunin Exam, if Kakashi is right about his nose and sense of smell, I wouldn’t doubt Naruto either.” Anko said.

Naruto was standing in the hole in the wall he had created when he tossed the Five-Tails through it earlier. He watched the flow of the battles below him with the Four-Tails engaged with Asuma, Kurenai and Fuu. While Gaara in his One-Tail State was engaged with the Chunin Haku and the Leaf Genin.
‘Gaara that idiot he’s losing control.’ Naruto thought as he watched the One-Tail block a volley of shuriken and Kunai with his tail. Looking at the fight with the Four-Tails he watched as Fuu in a Five-Tail Stage One Chakra Cloak with the help of Asuma and Kurenai was holding her own against the four tailed monkey.
His decision was forced as Hinata’s scream of pain ripped through his head above all the other screams of pain he could hear from the injured and dying.
‘Hinata hold on.’ He thought jumping down onto the arena floor and sprinting straight for Gaara the moment he landed on the lush grass.
Naruto sprinting from behind Gaara used this natural blind spot to his advantage and grabbed the One-Tails tail in both hands and spinning on his left foot and threw Gaara straight at the Four-Tails who was in the midst of breathing fire at an illusion of Asuma and Kurenai the fire making the silver like powder in the air glitter. ‘Wow they work really well together.’ Naruto thought as he watched the team fighting the Four-Tails.
Naruto turned back to face the ones he cared for who stood amongst his academy classmates. He quickly ran over to Hinata who was holding her bleeding left shoulder as the sand shuriken imbedded in her shoulder dissolved.
“Hinata are you ok?” Naruto asked as his Stage Two cloak disappeared revealing the rags he wore as clothing.
“Naruto?” Hinata groaned opening her eyes to look at the odd eyed blonde kneeling in front of her.
“Hey Hinata, let me have a look at your shoulder.” Naruto said unzipping her jacket halfway down and exposing her injured shoulder.
‘Shit there is too much damage I can’t heal that, if only they were scratches.’ Naruto thought as he looked worriedly at the torn flesh of Hinata’s shoulder.
Inside Naruto his anger boiled away to be replaced with an all-consuming rage. His eyes going blood red he spun to face the recovering Gaara and Four-Tails.
“Naruto calm the fuck down and look to your left.” Kurama growled in Naruto’s head as he began to lose control of his emotions.
Naruto following Kurama’s order looked to his left, his eyes falling on a red haired girl with glasses. ‘Karin can help with her ability to heal any who bite her.’ Naruto thought as Kurama showed him their experience in the Forest of Death.
Naruto looked at Karin with a look of relief as his eyes returned to their normal mismatched colors. “Karin please can you heal her?” Naruto asked tiredly as the effects of his diminished chakra started to kick in.
“Sure Naruto, can you help me?” Karin replied walking up to kneel in front of Hinata. A chakra chain slipping out of her right sleeve and moved towards Naruto. Naruto nodded as his own chakra chain emerged from his wrist and entwined with Karin’s chain.
“Hinata I need you to bite me, it will heal your wound.” Karin said as she held her left arm up to Hinata’s mouth.
Hinata weakly grabbed Karin’s arm and lightly bit into her arm. The other’s watched in amazement as Hinata’s shoulder healed right before their eyes.
With Hinata’s shoulder all healed Naruto sank to his knees, his breathing heavy as he tried to catch his breath.
‘Uh fuck this shit!’ Naruto thought as he struggled to his feet his breathing almost back to normal as he turned to face the recovered Tailed Beasts.
Landing beside him to his left and right were Fuu and Asuma while Kurenai landed behind them. “Naruto you look exhausted.” Asuma said placing his hand on the odd eyed blonde.
“I’m good I can still fight!” Naruto snapped as he stepped away from the three of them. Stepping closer to the two enemy Jinchuriki Naruto slipped into a five tailed Stage One Chakra Cloak. “What the fuck Kurama why aren’t we in a Stage Two?” Naruto asked annoyed knowing full well he didn’t have the chakra reserves to maintain a Stage Two cloak.
“You know fucking well we don’t have the chakra to go to that level.” Kurama snapped back in his own annoyed voice.

Naruto was the first to spring into action as he attacked the two Tailed Beasts. Racing on all fours straight for the gap between the two Tailed Beasts Naruto jumped into the air striking at the Four-Tails with a right cross, his chakra cloak like claws extending past his natural arm length to strike the Four-Tails in the cheek sending the four tailed monkey to stagger backwards. Landing beside the sand-like tanuki Naruto pivoted on his right foot and punched with his left hand at the throat of the One-Tail snapping its head back.
Naruto swept the One-Tail’s left leg out from beneath it causing the giant tanuki to collapse onto the arena floor. Naruto standing atop of the collapsed tanuki looked down before driving his fist into the top of its head knocking it out. The sand of the One-Tail’s body dissolved away to leave an unconscious Gaara in its place.
Naruto sank to his knees besides the unconscious red head, his chakra cloak dissolving away into nothing.
“Gaara!” Temari yelled running over towards the unconscious red haired Jinchuriki and the blonde Jinchuriki kneeling beside him.
“Don’t worry he’s just unconscious besides I don’t think either of you wanna die for Orochimaru, do you?” Naruto said as he looked over his shoulder at the Four-Tails who was silently watching the blonde Jinchuriki.
“Orochimaru, we didn’t do this for Orochimaru, we did this for our father the Kazekage.” Temari said as she stroked the cheek of her baby brother.
“If your father is the Kazekage then he is dead for the Kazekage who is up there is Orochimaru.” Naruto said pointing up at the barrier where they could see the Hokage wielding a giant Bo staff fighting Orochimaru who was wielding a sword that could change the length of its blade.
“How do you know that all I see are the silhouettes of two people?” Temari asked looking at the blonde suspiciously.
Naruto chuckled as he answered, “I keep forgetting nobody has my enhanced senses. I can smell him; ever since our fight in the Second Chunin Exam I know his scent.” Naruto continued to chuckle tapping his nose.
“Nine-Tails brat I would speak with you.” The Four-Tails said as he walked towards the kneeling blonde, the Tailed beast fading away so that only the Jinchuriki remained.
“My name is Naruto, not brat.” Naruto replied as he turned to face the stone Jinchuriki.
“Well Naruto, I’m Roshi and I would have you tell me what has become of my friend and companion Han?” Roshi asked standing before the kneeling blonde.
“He’s alive, if a little sore from our fight.” Naruto replied as he staggered to his feet and staggered closer to the other Leaf shinobi.
“Tell me Naruto why did you not try to kill us?” Roshi asked the exhausted blonde.
“We are Jinchoriki; we’ve all known and felt the same pain and loneliness.” Naruto replied looking back at the Stone Jinchuriki before collapsing into the arms of Haku. Haku sank to her knees cradling the head of the unconscious blonde Jinchuriki.
“So it’s true, the brat really does have people who care for him.” A deep voice said to Haku’s left.
To Haku’s left were Kakashi, Gai, Anko, Asuma and Kurenai who were standing behind the two Stone Jinchuriki. Standing beside Kakashi was a black haired Sound Kunoichi whose eyes were only focused on the unconscious blonde in Haku’s arms.
“Well the fighting has subsided, just waiting for the end of that fight.” Kakashi said looking up at the barrier that had trapped the Hokage. Around them Leaf shinobi were picking through the dead and injured tagging dead shinobi with red tags and injured shinobi with a series of tags dependent on the severity of the injuries. Green tags for light injuries and broken bones, yellow tags for intermediate to serious injuries and lastly orange tags for life threatening injuries.

With the fighting in the arena over every eye except for those incapable of seeing were watching the barrier that had trapped the Hokage. Most watched with bated breath for the barrier to come down and reveal the victor.
After ten minutes of waiting the barrier finally fell to reveal Orochimaru being carried by a large Sound ninja as the three other Sound ninja lead the way as they escaped from the arena roof.
“Where is the Hokage?” Gai and Asuma asked aloud as Asuma raced up towards where the Hokage fought with Orochimaru. Asuma jumped onto the roof and ran over to where three ANBU kneeled over a body.
‘He’s dead, I can’t believe his dead.’ Asuma thought falling to his knees beside the body of the Hokage, the body of his father.
As one of the ANBU passed around the news of the Hokage’s death more trouble was on route to the arena.
Across the other side of the arena three elders flanked by ten masked ANBU entered the arena. They looked around the arena until their eyes fell on the unconscious blonde in Haku’s arms. With the bandaged elder leaning on his cane leading the way they marched across the arena to stand before the Jonin watching over the unconscious blonde, the three Sand Genin and the three enemies that had surrendered to the blonde Jinchuriki.
“Move away from that boy, he is under arrest for the murder of the princess of the Land of Fire and her betrothed the prince of the Land of Forests.”

A/N 2: Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed the new chapter. If anyone is wondering about the Hokage's fight with Orochimaru i kept it the same as the anime because i actually liked the fight and i was soley interestered in only telling this chapter soley for Naruto and the other jinchuriki.
