Gaara rubbed his neck then winced from touching it. "Uh I guess." He said and went into the bathroom.

Lee rolled over and watched his love walk into the bathroom before closing his eyes slowly, relaxing.

Gaara moved around the broken door and struggled to move it upright so the bathroom was closed, he carefully stepped back and let out a sigh when it stayed in place. He then unzipped his trench coat and turned on the water.

Lee sighed softly and listened to the sound of the water, staying alert yet still relaxed so that he was ready if anything was to go wrong.

Gaara glanced at himself in the mirror and then bowed his head. 'What would Lee think if he saw this...' Gaara thought sadly and slipped off the rest of his clothes and got into the bathtub.

Lee felt cold and pulled the blanket over himself and tried to get almost comfortable enough to fall asleep, but found it increasingly hard. 'Why was he crying so hard..? What the hell happened when I was gone..? ' He thought to himself.

Gaara rubbed at his wrists and sighed. He bowed his head feeling shame again. 'What if Lee-kun see's the marks and thinks I was cheating... I can't let him know.. I would do anything to not lose him.. I…I just need to really be careful now and keep my sand armor on from now on..' He thought and rested his hands on his knees.

Lee couldn't take it anymore and he got up walking down stairs. He went to the basement and went down the stairs. "Hidan!" He called down but there came no response. "Oi Hidan," He said when he finally reached to bottom and found Hidan sitting on his sleeping bag, staring at the wall boredly. “What do you fucking want? " The immortal asked not taking his violet eyes off the wall. "What happened when I was gone? " Lee asked walking over. The silver haired man's face turned into slight anger but it quickly was forced away into emotionlessness.

"Why the hell should it matter? " He replied his eyes finally looking up to the leaf. Lee thought for a moment on how Hidan was acting, then his eyes widened. "You didn't..." He muttered hoping his trust wasn't broken. "Well who fucking cares if I did or not? The little brat was stupid and told you, everything would have been fine if you stayed the hell out of it," Hidan replied getting off of the sleeping bag, his good hand moving to his scythe. Lee glared at the zealot and glitched appearing next to him, kicking him into the wall. "You..you... YOU FUCKING BASTARD! How dare you!! I took you in my home, trusted you to stop messing with Gaara and look what you do! I can not fucking believe you!" The leaf began to cuss for once, not being able to control his anger. He loved Gaara and did not want anyone to harm him in any way. The leaf moved forward and grabbed Hidan's cloak, pushing up to the wall. "What the hell is wrong with you?! I knew I shouldn’t have trusted you!" He continued to yell. Hidan just grinned and didn't fight back, enjoying how pissed off Lee was getting at him.

Gaara blinked hearing all the yelling and quickly got out of the bath and dressed, he grabbed his gourd and ran down the stairs stopping at the basement door to hear what was going on.

"Oh what, are you mad that I did something to him? Look at your face, it is so pissed, yet you are too weak to do anything about it, weak and defenseless, you couldn't even help him. He begged you to stay yet you left," Hidan said trying to encourage the leaf to continue his actions. The immortal may have been acting a bit out of character then his normal whiney self, but right now it was because he was jealous. Jealous that Lee and Gaara were together and that his partner was gone. "Shut the fuck up!" Lee yelled punching the zealot in the face as his other hand tightened on his cloak. "I did not think I would have to! I trusted you! You say you are different but you still are a lying bastard, still the same heartless Akatsuki below!" He screamed, still outraged at the male.

Gaara made his way down the stairs worried about the leaf ninja, he had never in all the years they have known each other heard Lee so upset. 'I didn't even say anything.. how did this all start?' Gaara thought.

Hidan smirked seeing the redhead coming down the stairs. He averted his eyes from him and couldn't help but try and make Lee seem horrible in this situation. He wanted everyone to know how it felt to lose someone at that point. "But, earlier when you pulled me back from him you told me that you made a mistake and to keep trying things," The immortal said. Lee stared in disbelief at the silver haired man, what the hell was he talking about? "What..?" He asked, his rage being decreased by half because confusion was taking over.

The Kazekage froze on the stairs his hand stopping by the cork of his gourd. 'N-Nani? '

"You heard me, I was merely doing as you asked, your exact words were "do what ever you want to Gaara-kun, you can use him as you please," and I did just that," The immortal said. Lee cocked his head looking at the zealot, confused by the fact he was saying something like that, "I never.." He said while tightening his grip more on the cloak.

Gaara felt a sudden pain in his heart and stepped back stumbling on the stairs.

Lee heard the stumble an turned around, "Gaara.. how long have you been there..?" He asked and Hidan's smirk grew wide.

The Kazekage felt his eyes start to burn and turned running up the stairs and to the front door.

"Gaara wait!" His heart sunk when the Kazekage ran away. "Stay right here, I am not done with you yet!" He yelled at Hidan then quickly ran up the stairs chasing his love.

Gaara throw open the door and ran out into the snow, the pain in his chest growing unbearable.

Lee chased after him and caught up to him, grabbing his wrist, spinning him to look at him, "Gaara!"

"L-Let go of m-me!" Gaara yelled tears forming in his light green eyes.

"Gaara! Look at me!" Lee yelled and grabbed a hold of Gaara's shoulders, trying to look him in the eye.

The Kazekage closed his eyes tightly as more tears fell. "L-Let g-go.." He said pushing on the older boys chest.

"Hidan was lying Gaara! I never said any of those things! Please, listen to me.." Lee pleaded with his lover. He felt tears come to his own eyes thinking of Gaara not believing him and leaving to go back to Suna.

Gaara opened his eyes and lifted his head to look at the older boy.

"I would n-never say anything like that.. you are precious to me..." Lee moved his arms and wrapped them around him, pulling the smaller boy into a tight embrace. “Please.. do not believe that liar over me.."

Gaara blinked then hugged the leaf ninja tightly and buried his face into his chest. "R-Really..?" He asked shakily.

"Yes!" Lee yelled his voice just as shaky as the younger males. "I w-would never.. ever let anyone touch you..." "Oh so touching, look the little weakling is saying he would protect you when he couldn’t earlier Gaa-ra-ch-an~" The immortal mused in syllables standing in the door way of the house.

Gaara flinched at the sound of the other males voice and tightened his grip on his boyfriends vest.

"Hidan.. out now... I do not ever want to see your face anywhere near us ever again! Or so help me you will be gone for good this time.." He muttered. Hidan raised his hands defensively, "Fine fine, I will go live on the streets.. alone.." The immortal replied back trying to hit Gaara's soft spot again.

Gaara remembered talking with his sister about being more forgiving and sighed. "Lee-kun..."

Lee's eyes moved down looking at his love. "What is it?" He asked softly, rubbing Gaara's cheek.

"Your good at building stuff right...we can't really let him wonder your village... can't you build a shack or something out here... and if he tries something again... I won't stop you from killing him.." Gaara said speaking in monotone.

The leaf ninja blinked for a few minutes. He really didn't want the immortal anywhere near Gaara, but if his love wanted him to stay, he was going to go along with it. “Alright... if you are sure Gaara-kun...." He said quietly.

The Kazekage tightened his grip on Lee's vest and pulled him closer. "B-But don't you leave again.."

"I would never leave you.. I am sorry I did before..." He said giving Gaara a gentle loving kiss. Hidan smirked happy to get his way and walked back into the house, knowing there was no shack yet so he would still be in the basement.

Gaara kissed back and then hugged the leaf ninja tightly.

Lee reached up and ran his hand in Gaara's soft red hair. "How about we go on a date and leave Hidan here..?"

The Kazekage nodded and leaned into his lovers hand. "Please.."

"Alright.. can you please shut the door with your sand?" He asked.

Gaara moved his sand up and made it pull the door closed, he then leaned on the older boy closing his eyes.

Lee wrapped his arm around his love and began to lead him down one of the streets.

Gaara stayed closer to the older boy and rubbed his wrist through his coat. "Where are we going Lee-kun?" He asked looking up at him.

"You will see when we get there Gaara-kun," He said walking down another street with his love close.

Gaara tilted his head a little and looked up at him. "Ok."

The leaf grinned and finally lead him to a lift, walking on it and it brought them up to the statues of the Hokages. He sat down on the lift and pulled Gaara into his lap, looking out at the village, the sunset out of the horizon.

The young Kazekage blushed and smiled laying his head on Lee's shoulder. "This is nice Lee-kun.." The Kazekage whispered.

"I knew you would like it," He said holding his love close to his body."I love you so much.. I am sorry about Hidan.." He said softly and nuzzled his head into Gaara's neck .

Gaara let out a hissing sound at the touch to his neck and leaned back a little. "Ow.. love you to Lee- kun." He replied.

"Gomen..” Lee mumbled noticing the bite marks. He winced remembering how Hidan had not even cared about what he did to Gaara and sighed softly. "What exactly did Hidan do to you..?" He asked slowly not wanting Gaara to get mad.

Gaara looked down and bit his lip. "Nani?" He asked.

"What exactly did he do to you...?" Lee asked again, kissing the bite marks trying to make them feel a bit better.

Gaara closed one of his eyes and blushed at their closeness. "I don't think you really want to know.."

"Yes I do.. because it depends on if he can stay or not.." Replied the leaf ninja, nuzzling his head lightly into Gaara trying not to hurt him anymore.

Gaara was still for a moment then held his arms up to the older boy and looked away from him.

Lee blinked and pulled down Gaara's sleeves then growled seeing the marks. “What the hell did he do?!" He hissed out, anger starting to build in him again.

Gaara blinked in surprise from the growl and bit his lip again. "Well...he d-didn't get really that far.." The Kazekage said in a low whisper.

Lee moved the redhead so he was straddling his waist and facing him. "Please.. tell me everything he did..." He muttered wanting to know everything so that he would know how pissed to get at Hidan if it happened again.

Gaara gripped onto the older boys vest which was starting to become a habit and looked off to the side. "W-Well he took a chakra seal from my vest...a-and used it on me s-so I couldn't use my sand.." He said.

Lee held down another growl as he tightens his arms around Gaara "...What e-else..? " He struggled to say in a nice tone.

Gaara zipped down his trench coat a little to show all the bite marks. "W-Well he left t-these w-which well...r-really hurt..and you know how I d-don't like pain.." He said wincing.

The leaf's eyes saddened and he bowed his head. "I am so sorry.. I should not have left.. you asked me not to... and.. if I did not stop to get those flowers I would have never been so slow to get home.." He muttered.

"Well...you had better timing then you think.." Gaara said trying to keep his voice monotone.

"What do you mean..?" Lee's voice asked slowly trying to keep calm.

The Kazekage shook his head and bit his lip hard. "He w-was....he w-was going t-to..." Gaara trailed off as his voice started to shake.

"Sh sh.. I get it.. do not cry Gaara-kun.. it is ok.." Lee said softly and lovingly trying to relax his boyfriend. He hugged the smaller boy close and nuzzled his head into him.

Gaara hugged back tightly feeling safe in the leaf ninja's arms. He rested his head on his lovers shoulder and closed his light green eyes.

Lee ran his hand through Gaara's soft red hair and rubbed his back with the other hand. "I love you so much.. I am still so sorry.. how can I make it up to you..?" Lee asked.

The Kazekage shrugged and gripped the older boys vest again. "Make it up to me?" Gaara asked sounding a little confused.

"Yeah, like anything I can do to make it up to you, like make you a cake or something?" Lee said trying to use an analogy Gaara would get.

The Kazekage tilted his head more and opened his eyes to look up at his boyfriend. "Why? You didn't do anything wrong Lee-kun." He said and played with a pocket on the green vest.

"Yes I did... I left you alone when you asked me not to..." The leaf ninja muttered.

Gaara sat up straighter in his boyfriends lap and placed his hand gently on the older boy’s cheek. "Lee-kun.. it’s ok.." The Kazekage said in a soft tone.

"But...I could not protect you.. the one person I care for most.." Lee whispered under his breath, averting his eyes from that of the young Kazekage's.

The Kazekage frowned and then thought for a moment, he playfully pinched the older boys cheek gently trying to get him to look at him. "Don't look over there. A few bruises and scratches aren't going to keep me down.. and what's done is done.. don't blame yourself Lee-kun." Gaara said softly. "You did kinda save me when you did come home..." He added.

Lee looked up and stared into Gaara's soft pastle green eyes with his own brown ones. "Yosh.. if you are sure," He said trying to give the redhead his famous grin.

Gaara leaned up and kissed the older boys cheek. "I love you Lee-kun.." He said and smiled.

"I love you more," Lee said back and couldn't help but grin seeing his boyfriends smile.

Gaara wrapped his arms around the older boys neck and nuzzled his cheek into his boyfriends. "No I do." He said back.

The leaf ninja blushed a little and wrapped his arms around Gaara's waist. “No I do," He said trying not to think about the position they were in.

"Noo I do Lee-kun." Gaara said in a loving tone and closed his eyes smiling wider.

Lee chuckled and nuzzled his little Gaara-kun softly, "Noo I love you more and that's that," He said softly and playfully, tickling Gaara's side a little.

Gaara pouted then laughed and squirmed from being tickled.

Lee tightened his arm around his boyfriend so he would not fall and continued to playfully tickle his side, loving to hear the cute laugh.

The Kazekage laughed harder and squirmed more. "L-Lee-kun haha s-stop it." Gaara said his voice sounding happy again.

The leaf stopped and kissed Gaara's cheek happy to hear his somewhat higher sounding happy voice again. "Ok ok ok relax, do not squirm to where you fall." He said softly.

Gaara laughed and turned his head to peck his lover on the lips. "You would catch me though if I did right?" The sand ninja asked.

"I would do anything to keep you safe.." The black haired male replied pushing a bit of Gaara's hair out of his beautiful eyes. He smiled at him and leaned down, pressing his lips into Gaara's light pink ones, enjoying the feel of their lips together.

Gaara blushed and closed his eyes kissing his boyfriend back, he wrapped his arms around his neck again and felt safer then he had in awhile in his lovers arms.

The leaf grinned from Gaara kissing back and tightened his arms around the small thin body. His kiss turned more passionate and loving as he ran one hand up to Gaara's neck, pushing his head closer to deepen the kiss. His eyes sliding closed slowly.

The Kazekage blushed darker and tilted his head to kiss back just as passionate, he felt his heart beating faster and scooted closer to his boyfriend on his lap.

Lee tilted his head to the side a bit and licked at the young Kazekage’s lips trying to get him to part them as his fingers ran through his soft red hair. He felt his heart fill with joy from being close to his boyfriend again and he pulled him even closer.

Gaara shyly parted his lips for his boyfriend and moved his hands to rest them on the leaf ninja's shoulders lightly gripping his vest. 'I really like when he kisses me.' Gaara thought, a darker blush covering his pale face.
