Okay, here is the next chapter. Just like I said before,
since I learned the truth behind Uchiha massacre, Itachi, Madara, the Akatsuki,
the Nine-Tailed Fox, and other stuff and information linked to these, I will
make sure to add that to my story. So, Itachi won�t be a villain in the end and
neither will Sasuke. So, I�m real sorry to anti-Sasuke fans about that part and
personally, I don�t like to do Sakura-bashing and Sasuke-bashing unless I have
to. I�m not sure about the romance(s) that Sasuke will have with Naruto and
all, but we will see. Now, it is time to go back to the story.

Note: There will be some to a lot of OOC (Out of Character)
in this story and there will be plenty of Naruto/Sakura/Hinata/Tsunade, but it
will be mainly Naruto/Harem.

I DO NOT own Naruto,
Jungle Book, any of the characters, and anyone/anything that come from these
and other stories that end in this fanfiction! Naruto is owned/licensed by

Chapter 12: Truth
about the Uchiha

(Three days after
Tsunade joins Naruto�s �family�; Inside of the Hokage�s office)

Inside of the Hokage�s office, we find Tsunade working on
the papers on her desk and she has a slight sly smile on her lips as she works
while Shizune walks into the room and she is surprised to see that look on her
Mistress� face.

Shizune asks Tsunade, with a curious tone, �Lady Tsunade,
you seem chipper this morning. Why is that?�

Tsunade says, with a smile, �That Hokage thing is a real
bore, but I don�t let get to me when I have other things to take up my time.�

Shizune asks, suspiciously, �You haven�t been sneaking out
to find a place to gamble, have you?�

Tsunade tells Shizune, with a sly grin, �Shizune, I might be
one of the Legendary Sanin, but not even I can leave without being detected by
the ANBU or Kakashi. They might not stop me, but that doesn�t that they can�t
see me.�

Shizune says, with a curious tone, �Well, you have a point.�
Just then Tsunade puts her elbows on her desk and puts her hands together
causing Shizune to notice a diamond ring on finger. Shizune yelps out, shocked,
�Huh? Lady Tsunade, where did you get that diamond ring?�

Tsunade says, with a sigh, �Don�t you remember Shizune? It
was a present from Dan and one of the other few things other than my necklace
to Naruto that I didn�t gamble away.�

Shizune says, a bit solemnly, �Oh, right. I�m sorry. I
forgot that you and my uncle . . .�

Tsunade says, with a smile, �Look, don�t worry about it. But
next time, ask me about something before nagging me all right? You know that�s
gotten annoying.�

Shizune says, with a sigh, �Yes, my lady.�

Tsunade thinks in her mind, with a loving smile, �Actually, Shizune, this isn�t from my lost
love, Dan. This is a present from my new husband that I returned to my youth
for and when we got a more official marriage . . .�

Flashback; A few days ago

Inside of the Sound Village bases that are now controlled by
Naruto and his mother, Kushina Uzumaki, we find Tsunade, Sakura, and Hinata
looking at three beautiful diamond rings with each Kunoichi having one diamond
ring on their wedding finger.

Sakura tells Naruto, with a blush on her cheek, �Naruto-kun,
this is so beautiful!�

Hinata says, with a warm smile and amazed tone, �Where did
you get it?�

Naruto says, with a sly smile, �When you are the son of the
Fourth Hokage, the last of the Namikaze, and my mother, the last of the
Uzumaki, you tend to know a few people. And trust me, you don�t need to worry
about the costs. My mom and I acquired plenty for a whole mountain full of
diamonds.� Naruto takes out the necklace that Tsunade gave that�s still tied
around his neck and he says, with a loving smile, �And I�ve still got this. I
would never sell this for the world, Tsunade-chan.�

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a loving tone, �Naruto-kun, you
are so sweet.�

Naruto tells Tsunade, Sakura, and Hinata, with a warm smile,
�Now, even through you are my wives . . . well, by the way of Kyuubi-chan, I
felt that something more official through secret should be done.�

Hinata asks, amazed, �You mean that . . .?�

Naruto says, with a warm smile, �Yes. We are going to get
married in an official human way and even through it will be secret, you will
gain the names Uzumaki and Namikaze and be my wives officially in human
standards.�

Sakura says, excitedly, �That�s wonderful, Naruto-kun!�
Sakura then kisses Naruto right on the lips.

Hinata says, with a warm loving tone, �This is just perfect,
Naruto-kun.�

Naruto says, with a snap of his fingers, �And now . . .�
Just then an explosion of smoke comes from behind Naruto and when the smoke
clears, a lot of beautiful wedding dresses appears with two ninja.

Sakura yells out, excitedly, �They are just gorgeous.�

Naruto says, with a loving smile, �My mom and I are not made
of money, but anything is worth all of you.�

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a loving tone, �Thank you, Naruto-kun.�
Tsunade kisses him on the forehead and the lips with Hinata following with a
passionate kiss soon afterwards.

Hinata tells Naruto, with a loving tone, �I hope that I will
be a good and loving serving wife to you, Naruto-kun.�

Naruto tells Hinata, �I know that you will, Hinata-chan. I
know that the four of us will be happy together.�

Sakura says, with a wide smile, �Well, what are we waiting
for? It�s time to get married!� Soon enough, the three young ladies walk over
to the dresses to pick one out for their wedding ceremonies.

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, Tsunade looks over her wedding ring and
she gives a warm smile as she remembers her wedding to Naruto with Sakura�s and
Hinata�s.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, warmly, �It was a wonderful wedding. Just as I imagined it with Dan at one time
and it was like a dream come true. And now, I am no longer just Tsunade. I am
Tsunade Uzumaki Namikaze, one of the current wives of Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze,
along with Sakura Haruno Uzumaki Namikaze and Hinata Hyuga Uzumaki Namikaze.�
Tsunade then glances down at her waist and she thinks, with a warm smile, �And it has been confirmed by Naruto-kun�s
medical department that I am indeed pregnant with Naruto-kun�s child.
Kyuubi-chan also made some slight alterations to me as well as Sakura and
Hinata and made us fertile for the rest of our lives since none of us will die
of old age.� Tsunade gives a sly mental smirk and she thinks, slyly, �Even through Naruto-kun and I can�t risk our
baby especially during my later stages of pregnancy, it doesn�t mean that my
husband and I can�t have other forms of �fun�. Plus, thanks to Kyuubi-chan, my
pregnancy isn�t as long as in �normal� humans, but not less painful. Oh, well,
it is one of the �problems� that a wife of the container for the Queen of all
demons that we will have to face.�

Shizune then puts some scrolls and files down on Tsunade�s
desk and she asks, curiously, �Why do you wish for this information?�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, �Important personal
business.�

Shizune asks, in a low voice, �About you know who?�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �Kind of. And please . . . don�t
ask questions. It might be problematic.�

Shizune says, with a nod and low voice, �I understand.�

Tsunade thinks in her mind, with an annoyed tone, �Hard because if that rotten Danzo finds out
that I�m now one of Naruto-kun�s wives and pregnant with his child, he would
use me to get to him in some way. It is a good thing that I gained a few new
transformation jutsus from Kyuubi-chan to hide my pregnancy until my child is
born.� Tsunade thinks, with a mental sly smirk, �However, this isn�t all against Danzo. Naruto-kun might have me,
Sakura, and Hinata, but he might need a few more for the clan restoration act
especially since he has two clans with Kekkai Genkai or bloodline traits. One
from his father, the Fourth, and one from his mother, Kushina, and the council
might him to recreate both clans. Kyuubi-chan can handle which bloodline traits
go into our babies, Uzumaki or Namikaze, but those rotten pieces of trash in
the council might just want to control the new clans that Naruto-kun tries to
recreate. However, we will have to see about that.� Tsunade asks Shizune,
curiously, �How goes the work on that �favor� that I asked you?�

Shizune says, with a low voice, �It might take sometime, but
as long as the council and Danzo doesn�t know, we might able to use the Fire
Lord and the special �rule� that your grandfather and great-granduncle made in
order to gain power over the council. It seems like they made this little-known
law for just such an occasion.�

Tsunade says, with a low serious tone, �My grandfather and
great-granduncle were no idiots Shizune. They knew better and they made it so
that it would be forgotten until an occasion called for it. Hopefully, we will
get enacted in time to stop Danzo�s plans, which might be coming into
fruition.�

Shizune nods her head and she asks, seriously, �By the way,
did you know that sometime ago that the Land of Sound was taken over by a
mysterious new group?�

Tsunade says, in a pretend curious tone, �Really? I didn�t
hear.�

Shizune says, with a serious tone, �We got word from our
spies and scouts in the area just some time ago. A new group has taken over the
Hidden Sound Village since Orochimaru was eliminated by Sasuke. Kabuto tried to
take the lead of the village, but he was easily taken care of by this
mysterious new group.�

Tsunade asks, in a pretend curious and suspicious tone, �Do
we know their intent?�

Shizune says, with a shake to her head, �No. Not really.
However, we managed to hear that they seem to be focused on the Akatsuki and
their destruction. We heard a rumor that the sister of the Fifth Kazekage,
Gaara, is with them and they are allied with the Sand since it is rumored that
they were the ones that prevented an attempted kidnapping of the Fifth Kazekage
by two members of the Akatsuki.�

Tsunade says, with a pretend stunned tone, �They defeated
two members of the Akatsuki, who are S-class criminals. They must be a pretty
strong group to do that and take over the whole of the Sound, but then again,
the people of the Sound Village are not totally loyal to Orochimaru.�

Shizune asks Tsunade, curiously, �What should we do?�

Tsunade says, seriously, �We will send in a team to
investigate immediately.� Soon after, Tsunade and Shizune wait a few minutes to
say anything to each other while a shadow nearby turns into a human figure that
vanishes with ninja super-speed.

Shizune asks, curiously, �Is he gone?�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �Yep. He has reported back to his
�Master� by now.�

Shizune asks, curiously, �So, it looks like your plan with
Kushina worked so far, huh?�

Tsunade says, with a sly smile, �So far, so good.�

Shizune then says, taking a scroll from kimono, �However, I
didn�t want him to see this, but this scroll is address to you and it has some
kind of seal that needs your hair to unlock.�

Tsunade says, with a curious tone, �Let�s see.� Tsunade
takes the scrolls, gently plucks a hair from her head, puts the hair on the
seal, the hair is absorbed into the seal, and it unlocks causing Tsunade to
unroll the scroll. Tsunade reads the scroll with a serious glare and her eyes
then grow wide.

Shizune asks, curiously, �What is it, my lady?�

Tsunade tells Shizune, with a serious tone, �Shizune, send
Guy and his team to the Sound Village and I also want Kakashi, Kiba, and Shino
to assist them. Plus, I want you to get all records concerning the Third Hokage
as well as the council from the time of the Kyuubi attack fifteen years ago all
the way to sometime after Uchiha massacre.�

Shizune asks, perplexed, �What? Why?�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, �It looks like that the
old man had some skeletons and they are not in his grave. And no more
questions, Shizune! Get on it on and I will explain later!�

Shizune says, with a nod, �Yes, ma�am!� Immediately, Shizune
races out of the room to perform the orders of the current Hokage of the Hidden
Leaf village.

Tsunade looks over the scroll and she thinks in her mind, �This should be totally unbelievable, but it
is hard to discount. I�ll have to find those secret files. Sarutobi-sensei, why
did you do this?�

(In the lands of the
Sound Village; One day later)

Somewhere within the lands that belongs to the Sound Village
AKA the Land of Rice Fields, we find two familiar figures bounding across the
trees and ground. It was none other than Itachi Uchiha, former elite ninja of
the Hidden Leaf Village, Sasuke�s brother, and the one that mass murdered the
Uchiha clan, and his partner in the Akatsuki, Kisame Hoshigaki, from ninja of
the Hidden Wave Village.

At one point, they stop on one of the large tree limbs and
Kisame says, with a serious tone, �That�s interesting. We�ve come all this
way.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Indeed, Kisame. We have come all
this way and we haven�t run into their defenses.�

Kisame says, with a sly smile, �Since they are currently in
chaos from the turmoil of the takeover, they must be quite defenseless.�

Itachi then closes his eyes and he says, emotionlessly, �Not
as much as you think.�

Kisame asks Itachi, perplexed, �What do you mean?�

Itachi tells Kisame, �Look around you. They managed to get around
even me.� Kisame looks around and he finds that there are 20 ninjas surrounding
them along with Tayuya, Kin, and Haku.

Kisame gives a rare surprised tone and he replies, �Whoa. I
see what you mean. They are good.�

Tayuya says, with a sly smile, �Well, look what we have
here.�

Haku says, with a plain tone, �We figured that you people
would hear about what we did to your fellow members.�

Itachi says, with an emotionless tone, �A trap. Simple, but
effective.�

Kin says, with a sly smile, �You got that right, Itachi. Oh,
we heard a lot about you from Naruto-sama.�

Tayuya says, with a sly grin, �Don�t look like much to me.�

Haku says, with a serious tone, �Don�t underestimate him.
Remember, he took care of the whole Uchiha clan minus Sasuke Uchiha in one
evening. He is very dangerous.� Haku thinks in her mind, seriously, �Through I can sense something �off� about
him. He hides it well from others, but I can sense it.�

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, �Hold it!� Just
then Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Kushina appear through their ninja super-speed
in front of Itachi and Kisame.

Kisame says, with a nod, �Whoa. I can see that the kid
really did some �growing up�. I can feel it.�

Itachi says, lowly, �Indeed.�

Sakura asks, with a snarl, �So, this is Itachi, huh?�

Naruto says, with a nod, �Yep, Sakura-chan. This is Itachi
Uchiha, Sasuke�s older brother. I could never forget this mug.�

Itachi pulls down his cloaked to reveal his mouth and he
says, with a rare sly smile, �You remember me. I am honored, Naruto.�

Kushina says, with a serious tone, �Shut your mouth! You
have some nerve to show up here again after what you did to my son!�

Kisame states, perplexed, �Her son?�

Kushina says, with a sly smile, �I am Kushina Uzumaki, mother
of Naruto and wife of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf
Village.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �I see. The family resemblance is
uncanny. Naruto has inherited traits from you and the Fourth.�

Naruto says, with a deadly serious tone, �Cut the talk! What
do you want here?! I know that you aren�t here just for a stroll!�

Sakura says, with a deadly serious tone, �If you are here to
take my husband, then forget it!�

Kisame and Itachi give rare shocked look and Kisame asks,
perplexed, �Husband?�

Sakura says, with a sly grin, �Yeah! I�m Sakura Haruno
Uzumaki Namikaze, one of the wives of Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. And you had
better not forget it or you will get where the sun don�t shine!�

Itachi says, with a rare sly smile, �Well, you are
rebuilding your clans, Naruto. You are the last of Namikaze and one of the two
remaining Uzumaki.� Itachi says, looking at Hinata, �I take it that the Hyuga
heiress is also your wife as well.�

Naruto says, with a deadly serious tone, �Yeah! And if you trying
anything with either of them, I�ll make sure that Sasuke never has a chance
with you! I�ll kill you right here at now!�

Itachi replies, with a shake of his head, �I am not here to
fight and personally, you have done as I hope that you would do. Learn of your
heritage and rebuild your clans. Clans that are noble as yours and your mother
need to be rebuilt.�

Hinata asks, suspiciously, �Why are you glad that Naruto-kun
is rebuilding his clans?�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �With the Namikaze and Uzumaki
clans rebuild, they will ensure that the Uchiha will be rebuilt into a true
noble clan through Sasuke. He shall turn the Uchiha clan into a clan of real
glory, but I think that only with the bloodlines of Naruto possess will that
only be successful.�

Naruto asks, perplexed, �What in the heck are you talking
about?�

Itachi gives a slight winch and Haku thinks in her mind,
seriously, �I was right! There seems to
be something wrong with this guy!� Haku glances to Naruto and he glances back
with an indication that he knows what she is thinking.

Itachi says, with a weak smile, �I see that you already seen
my weakness already, Naruto-sama. You and your friend, Haku, already have seen
it. I shall tell the truth. You are not seeing a genjutsu because your mother,
female friends, and you including the Kyuubi would have seen it. You know that
there is no genjutsu. The truth is: I am dying and my time is short.�

Many in the group gasp in shock and Tayuya yells out, with a
strong suspicious tone, �What kind of trick is this?�

Haku says, with a serious tone, �There is no trick.
Naruto-sama and I already seen in. There seems to be a weakness in Itachi and
something he is trying to stave off.�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �What am I trying to stave
off is my inevitable end until I can perform my final duties . . . as a Hidden
Leaf Village ninja.�

Sakura yells out, strongly, �What do you mean? You abandoned
our village after you massacred the Uchiha clan!�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �True. It is not a lie,
but you don�t know the full truth and now, I need you to know. If you are
willing to hear me out, I shall tell you all . . . the truth of the destruction
of the Uchiha by my hands and the truth about the Akatsuki.�

Naruto asks, seriously, �And how do we know that this isn�t
a trick?�

Itachi retorts, with a serious tone, �If you thought that
this was a trick, would you be attacking us already?�

Naruto asks Kyuubi, telepathically, �What do you think, Kyuubi-chan?�

Kyuubi tells Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, telepathically, �I
believe that we should hear him out. After learning the story from you and the
others, Naruto-kun, I had my suspicious that someone like Itachi is able to
destroy the elite Uchiha clan alone among other things. Plus, if HE is
involved, then this information would greatly benefit us.�

Hinata asks Naruto, curiously, �Are you and Kyuubi-chan sure?�

Naruto replies, with a serious tone, �I think that we should do this,
Hinata-chan! Kyuubi-chan has been around for a long time and she has gained
great knowledge! I mean she isn�t the queen of all demons on raw power alone!�

Kyuubi says, with a sly tone, �Got that right, Kit!�

Sakura says, with a strong tone, �Okay, if you say so, Naruto-kun,
but if that asshole tries anything, he is dead!�

Naruto tells Itachi, with a plain tone, �Okay, we will hear
you out, but don�t try anything.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Understood.� Itachi tells Kisame,
�Kisame, you are to wait here and don�t try anything.�

Kisame says, with a sigh, �All right. All right.� Soon
after, with Tayuya, Kin, and Haku as well as the group of ninja to watch him,
Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Kushina lead Itachi back to one of their bases.

(Inside of one of the
Sound Village bases; Sometime later)

Within one of the bases belonging to Orochimaru�s Sound
Village, we find Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Kushina sitting in front of Itachi
with Rin, Temari, Yugito, and other various ninja standing on guard to make
sure that Itachi doesn�t do anything as they prepare to discuss.

Itachi says, with a nod, �You have the host of the
Two-Tailed with you. That�s good. As long as she is with you, the rest of the
Akatsuki won�t get her.�

Kushina tells Itachi, with a serious tone, �Okay, Itachi, we
decided to hear you out. So, I think that we should get down to business.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Agreed. Like I said, I shall tell
all about the Akatsuki and the truth about the Uchiha massacre. While it is
true that I did mass murder my own clan, I didn�t do for pretty reasons. I
wanted Sasuke to believe so that he would seek revenge on me and be the one to
kill me one day.�

Sakura asks, with a serious and suspicious tone, �Why? Why
did you destroy the whole of the Uchiha clan expect for Sasuke?�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �You shall not believe the
reason, but I shall tell you. I did it . . . under orders from the Third Hokage
and the elders of the Hidden Leaf Village.�

Gasps came from the room and Naruto yells out, angrily,
�Lies! The old man would never do such a thing.�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �I knew that you would react
that way, but it isn�t what you think. The Third Hokage did secretly order the
destruction of the Uchiha clan, but for a good reason: The protection of the
Hidden Leaf Village and stability of the Fire Nation from the betrayal of my
clan.�

Hinata asks, perplexed, �The betrayal of your clan?�

Itachi gains an angered look and he says, with a plain tone,
�Unlike your clan, the Hyuga clan, who nobly support the Hidden Leaf Village,
my clan did not despite what I made it to look to be. I made the Uchiha clan to
be a noble clan that I killed for petty reasons in order for Sasuke to never be
ashamed of his heritage. In fact, I begged the Third and the elders to never
tell Sasuke or anyone else beyond who knows the truth to never let this
information to get out.�

Kushina asks, seriously, �Who else knows this information?�

Itachi replies, plainly, �The one that you suspect of
treason: Danzo.�

Naruto says, with a snarl, �Danzo! I knew that ass had
something to do with this!�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �I had threatened Danzo
never to hurt Sasuke and my threat stayed true along with my wishes. I had
begged or threatened that my brother, who was totally innocent of what was
truly happening with the Uchiha clan, to be kept alive and that he never learn
the truth.�

Kushina asks, seriously, �And what truth was that? And why
would the Uchiha betray the Hidden Leaf Village?�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �It is because of him. That
worthless person that no longer has the right to be called the �great Uchiha�:
Madara.�

Kyuubi yells out, angrily, �I knew it! I knew that SOB had
to be in the center of this!�

Sakura says, with a serious tone, �Hold up! I read about
Madara from some hidden records. He is supposed to be the founded of the Uchiha
many years ago.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Indeed. And you would think that
someone like him would be dead of old age. He isn�t. He has gained a level of
Sharingan that�s far greater than the Mangekyo Sharingan and it is known simple
as the �Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan�. The Mangekyo Sharingan has a price that
you, Naruto, already know from the Kyuubi.�

Naruto says, seriously, �It damages your eyesight the more
that you use it.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Yes. That�s correct. My eyesight
has weakened over the years and with more usage of Mangekyo. Madara and his
brother were the first to gain the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan, but Madara
became blind with his usage of it. However, when his brother gave him his eyes,
he gained the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and his eyesight was restored, but not
only that. Somehow, he gained some kind of form of immortality.�

There are plenty of gasps from the other people in the room
and Hinata asks, stunned, �Immortality?�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �Not only that. This form
of Sharingan gave Madara another great power: The power to control the tailed
demons including the Nine-Tailed Fox that lives within Naruto.�

Sakura yells out, stunned, �The power to control demons?�

Itachi says, with a nod, �That�s right. Madara used this
power against the First Hokage and used the Nine-Tailed Fox in failed attempt
to defeat the First Hokage in the Valley of the End, but he failed. He was
driven out of the village because including his own clan because they believed
that he stole his brother�s eyes for his own power and Madara became bitter and
enraged at his own clan that he started and the whole of the Hidden Leaf
Village. Where in lies the attack by the Nine-Tailed Fox those many years ago,
he uses his Mangekyo Sharingan to take control of the Nine-Tailed Fox once
more, but the Kyuubi resisted causing Madara to put a powerful berserker curse
on the Nine-Tailed Fox and unleashed it on the Hidden Leaf Village where the
Fourth Hokage was forced to sacrifice his life to seal it in Naruto.�

Naruto tells Kyuubi, �It is like you told me, Kyuubi-chan!�

Kyuubi tells Naruto, with a solemn tone, �Yes.
Madara put a spell on me like he did before when he was trying to take revenge
on the First Hokage. I tried to fight back this time, but it was too
overwhelming and I had lost control when he used his Sharingan to put a curse
on me turning into the horrible fiend that killed all of those innocent ninja.�

Kyuubi�s crying starts to be heard by Naruto and he tells
Kyuubi, strongly, �Don�t worry, Kyuubi-chan, nothing will happen to you. I promise. That
jerk won�t get his hands on you ever again.�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �You see, this is where my
role starts to come in. After the attack of the Nine-Tailed Fox, the council
and the Third Hokage suspected the Uchiha clan to be suspect in the attack
since their Sharingan has the ability to control the tailed demons like the
Nine-Tailed Fox. On the meanwhile, the Uchiha clan, because this suspicion,
planned to betray the leadership of the village and take over control of the
village. My family, expect for Sasuke, wasn�t innocent of the crime. In fact,
my father wanted to be in the ANBU to be a spy for the crime. However, my
loyalties were to the village and the village alone. I had become angered and
disgusted at the fact that my clan would do such a thing and plus, I realized
that the Uchiha clan, powerful as it was, rises in open rebellion that the land
would become destabilized and a Fourth Ninja War would result. I didn�t want
that to happen. So, I betrayed my clan and became a double agent for the
village with the Third, the village elders, and a few others like Danzo knowing
the truth. The Third tried to negotiate with my clan, but his efforts were in
vain.�

Kushina says, with a serious tone, �So, you were given the
order to eliminate the Uchiha clan.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Yes. My best friend, Shisui, had
been ordered to keep tabs on me because there were plenty in my clan begin to
suspect my treason to the rest of the village. He managed to find out the truth
and with great regret, I had to kill Shisui in order to keep him silent, but in
truth, I also killed him to gain my Mangekyo Sharingan. In order to gain it,
you have to kill someone close to you. I mistaken told Sasuke that you had to
kill your best friend because I believed so at the time, but now, the words
were someone close to you had to be killed by your hands in order to gain it.
However, even through I made it to look to be suicide, I knew that my clan
weren�t idiots. When the order came from the Third, I had begged to allow
Sasuke to be kept alive and the truth from him be hidden. I didn�t want the
shame of my clan passed down to him. However, on that night, I met HIM:
Madara.�

Hinata asks, curiously, �What happened?�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �Madara was still bent on
getting revenge against the Uchiha clan and the clan of the First Hokage with
the whole of the Hidden Leaf Village. However, I managed to convince him to
only destroy the Uchiha clan with my help. So, in truth, I didn�t do it alone
that day even through I took the whole blame, which we made it look that way
since that was part of the deal. Madara didn�t want to be revealed at that
time. However, I knew then and there he would be a threat to the whole world,
but even I knew it was him, I knew that it had to be an Uchiha that used the
Nine-Tailed Fox in the attack even if I didn�t know who before I met Madara,
so, I began my ultimate plan back at that time.�

Kushina asks, curiously, �What was your plan?�

Itachi replies, plainly, �Even through I was ordered to
destroy every living Uchiha in the village and to leave forever, I couldn�t
bear doing that to Sasuke. And that�s why I made the deal with the Third, the
elders, and Danzo to convince them that since Sasuke was so young, he wouldn�t
know of what�s going on and that may have saved him from forcing me to kill them.
However, I couldn�t live with myself for the deed even if it was for the safety
of the village and maintaining the safety of our world. And that�s where Sasuke
came in. I knew that he would be the one that restart the Uchiha clan into the
noble clan that I wished and he might be the possible salvation for the ninja
world from Madara. However, I knew that Sasuke would need great power to stop
Madara. He might be a pathetic shell of his former self, but he is still a
great threat and very powerful. But his power was weakened. You see, Madara is
the one that started the Akatsuki, but he made another member the �leader� of
the Akatsuki. However, in truth, Madara is the true leader of the Akatsuki with
the fake leader acting through his will. Only I, Kisame, another member known
as Konan, and Zetsu, another member, other than the fake leader himself know
the truth. The others believe that fake leader that is the true leader.
However, the fake leader, known as Pein, doesn�t know Madara�s true intentions
for collecting the tailed demons.�

Sakura asks, curiously, �What are Madara�s real intentions?
And how is he hiding them?�

Itachi says, seriously, �Pein believes we will use the
tailed beasts in order to create a powerful jutsu that could wipe any of the
nations in an instant and there would be no ninja nations left to opposite the
Akatsuki since they would be gone. The Akatsuki built a mercenary organization
to take missions below what Hidden Villages like the Leaf Village would take,
they would corner the business of ninja missions, and the Hidden Villages would
collapse due to lack of funds, making the Akatsuki the dominate force in the
world. The Pein believes that we can force world peace on them with the use of
this �supreme jutsu� from the power of the tailed demons by forcing it upon the
nations with the Akatsuki as the head. However, Madara has other plans.�

Sakura asks, curiously, �Like what?�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �His Sharingan is very
powerful, but at this point, it is weakened and somehow, he needs the power of
the tailed demons to restore him to full strength. I do not know all the
details, but I do know this for a fact.�

Kyuubi says, with an angered snarl, �I�m not surprised that Madara would
come up with something like this! He is pure evil incarnate! I�m not surprised
when his power is restored, he will take out the Leaf Village and conquer the
world as well!�

Naruto asks, seriously, �What about the Leaf Village?�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �I do not know, but I do
not believe he will have forgotten his plans for the Leaf Village. On that day
of that I helped massacre the Uchiha clan with him, I made him promise to leave
the village, Sasuke, and you, Naruto, alone. As long as I live the deal shall
be in place, but when I die, I shall know that he will turn on his word. And
this is where Sasuke comes in. My brother is the one of the few with the
ability to defeat Madara since Sharingan can only be defeated by another. My
time is short and my power is nothing compared to Madara. However, I decided
that Sasuke had the potential to do it. So, I gave him his reason for vengeance
against me to gain more power in order for him to fight with at an equal level.
When he is powerful enough, if he didn�t have Mangekyo already, I can give him
the Mangekyo through my death. The Mangekyo Sharingan can be gained by someone
close to you, no matter what feelings that you have for him or her, and if I
die by Sasuke�s hands, he will finally gain the Mangekyo Sharingan. However, I
had to plan for every eventually and plus, when I heard the Third was killed
Orochimaru, I had to make sure that Sasuke was safe. That�s where Naruto came
in.�

Naruto asks, perplexed, �What do you mean?�

Itachi says, plainly, �I attacked the Hidden Leaf Village
under the pretext of finding you for multiple reasons. One, since Lord Jiraiya
learned of the Akatsuki, I need the village to see how great a threat it is
through me and Kisame. Two, by showing myself, Danzo and the elders would know
that I�m alive and they wouldn�t do anything to Sasuke knowing that I was
around to carry out my threat to them. And three, I needed Naruto learn about
us and that�s why I attacked him full force. When I battled Sasuke, I was glad
that he gained Sharingan, but his power wasn�t enough, yet. Naruto had just
learned to harness the Nine-Tailed Fox�s charka, but he was no where close to
harnessing the power against Madara. However, as the son of the Fourth, which
I�m one of the few that knew all along, I knew that he was one of few other
than Sasuke with the ability to defeat Madara. In short, I attacked you to
force you to get ready for your battle with the Akatsuki.�

Sakura yells out, stunned, �You attacked Naruto-kun to let
him know about you and the Akatsuki and to force him and Sasuke to get
stronger?�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Indeed. So, I, with great regret,
used my Tsukuyomi on Sasuke and even through it would put him into great
trauma, I knew that it had to be done. I had figured out that Lord Jiraiya and
Naruto were out looking for Lady Tsunade, the final Sanin, to make her the
Fifth Hokage. So, I knew that she would heal him when she returned the village.
I hope that it would inspire Sasuke to get stronger to finally take my life in order
for me to pay my debt for my sins and for Sasuke to gain the power of the
Mangekyo. However, I was stunned to learn that he went to Orochimaru of all
people for power, knowing of his desire for me before, I knew that he would try
to take Sasuke�s body. But when I learned that Orochimaru didn�t immediately
take Sasuke over, I knew that he must have needed to use his immortality jutsu
before Sasuke could reach him and I knew that Sasuke would grow stronger and
destroy Orochimaru. I did it before when he tried to take me over since it was
his reason of joining the Akatsuki.�

Hinata asks, perplexed, �Orochimaru was a member of the
Akatsuki?�

Itachi nods his head and he says, �Yes. However, I cut off
his hand on one of his bodies when he attempted to use the jutsu on me. He left
soon after his defeat by my hands.�

Naruto asks Itachi, seriously, �What about me?�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �Like I said, you are one of
the few people with the ability to defeat Madara and I needed you to get
stronger with Sasuke to do so. For you see, it is one of the reasons that your
father sealed the Kyuubi with you Naruto. He wanted you to defeat Madara.�

Another set of gasps come from the room and Kushina says,
shocked, �Minato-kun knew about Madara this whole time?�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Indeed. Your husband, the Fourth
Hokage, knew much and there a few reasons that he sealed the Nine-Tailed Fox
within Naruto. One, to keep the Nine-Tailed Fox away from Madara and the second
was for his son, Naruto, to gain the strength necessary to defeat Madara. The
Fourth truly believed in the strength of his bloodline and he hoped that the Third
would prepare him from this path knowing that Madara would come for the Nine-Tailed
Fox one day.�

Temari asks, curiously, �Okay, but how do you defeat someone
that has immortality on their side?� Temari then says, with a serious tone, �Unless
there is a dent in his armor. You said that Madara wants the Nine-Tailed Fox
with the other demons to restore his power. He wouldn�t be saying that unless
his so called �Eternal� Sharingan is damaged or weakened.�

Itachi says, with a nod, �Correct.�

Kushina asks Temari, curiously, �What are you saying
Temari-sama?�

Temari says, seriously, �What I�m saying is that this ass that�s
trying to get the demons to restore his power isn�t as powerful as you would
think being a guy with immortality. If he is weakened, then there is a �chip�
in his �immortal armor� making him very killable.�

Sakura says, with a serious tone, �So, if as long as we keep
him away from the tailed demons, he is vulnerable and as long as he is vulnerable,
we can take him out.�

Temari says, with a nod, �That�s right. However, it is only a theory.�

Itachi says, plainly, �A very valid theory.� Itachi then
says, with a serious tone, �And that�s the truth about the Akatsuki, Madara,
the tailed demons, and the Uchiha massacre. Use my wisdom wisely. It is not my
place to say so, but I wish only one favor from you.�

Temari asks, curiously, �Favor?�

Itachi says, plainly, �Spread the word that I�m in the area
and lead Sasuke to me. It is high time that I pay for my sins and plan for my
final battle with my own brother.�

Kushina asks, perplexed, �Isn�t there a better way to do
this?�

Just then a male medical ninja enters the room and he says, �If
he doesn�t die by Sasuke Uchiha�s hand, he will die eventually. We are done
with the test results from the tests that all of you saw we performed on Itachi
by his request and it is confirmed . . . he is indeed dying. He has a terrible
disease that�s slowly destroying him. Actually, by all counts, he should be
already dead.�

Many of the ninja in the room look at Itachi in shock and he
says, plainly, �I take a special medicine to stave off my inevitable death and
the importance of my final mission is what keeps me going. Not even Lady
Tsunade can cure what inflicts me now. I beg you now to honor my dying request
and I also request that Kisame be let go.�

Hinata asks, curiously, �Why?�

Itachi says, with a serious tone, �Kisame has known about my
infliction and he knew the real truth behind what I was doing in the Akatsuki.
Even so, he has stayed loyal ally and friend in the organization. And it was
because of him that I was able to keep up this fa�ade as emotionless killer and
criminal for all this time. He is the one that kept me from true insanity and
for that I am indebted to him. These are my two dying requests.�

Kyuubi says, with a plain tone, �It is your choice, Naruto-kun.
But there is no deception in his voice. He wasn�t lying at all. All of his
words are true.�

Kushina, Sakura, Hinata, Naruto, Temari, Yugito, and Rin
look at each other and after a few minutes, Naruto says, with a sigh, �All
right, Itachi, we shall give you those requests.�

Temari asks Naruto, �Are you sure, Naruto-sama? He might be
telling the truth, but his partner may not be as honorable as him. Do you want
to do this?�

Naruto says, with a serious tone, �I know that Itachi is
telling the truth and even through I don�t like it, I will honor his wishes.�

Hinata asks Naruto, �But Naruto-kun, even through we know
the truth now, there are many who believe that Itachi is a criminal.�

Itachi says, with a plain tone, �This is the way that I want
it. If I am to go out as a criminal to preserve the peace and stability of our
world and for Sasuke to rebuild the Uchiha into a true glorious clan, then I
accept that. This is my path and this is what I chose to do.�

Naruto says, with a serious tone, �I know that you are going
to die one way or another, but you are not going to have your name dragged in the
mud, Itachi. One way or another, we will make sure that your name is honored
and remembered.�

Itachi tells Naruto, with a rare sly smile, �You are truly the
Fourth�s son, Naruto. I, thank you, and pray for your success. I shall tell you
exactly where to arrange my battle, but be warned, I will have to use all of my
remaining strength to fight Sasuke. In order for him to gain the Mangekyo
Sharingan, he must use his full power and fury to kill me.�

Hinata asks, curiously, �Does it have to be this way?�

Itachi says, with a nod, �It must be. However, I must ask
you one final favor: Please try to lead Sasuke down the right path to build a
new Uchiha clan. However, there is a chance that Sasuke will learn the truth
and he might turn on the village. Try to take him away from that path of
revenge against the village and focus him towards Madara, since it was his
actions using the Nine-Tailed Fox that brought suspect to Uchiha clan and that suspicion
put them into rebellion against the village. But if it is not possible: End the
Uchiha clan with Sasuke once and for all.�

Sakura yells out, stunned, �Are you asking us to kill
Sasuke?�

Itachi tells Sakura, with a plain tone, �Only if it becomes necessary
and I pray that it does not.� Itachi tells Naruto, with a serious tone, �Naruto,
you must give your word, as a ninja, the son of the Fourth Hokage, and more,
that you will try to fulfill my request for Sasuke, but if it is not possible,
you must end the Uchiha clan. I know that you care about him like a brother,
but you must consider the greater picture, Naruto-sama. Will you honor this
final humble request?�

Kyuubi says, with a solemn tone, �I�m sorry, Kit. But Itachi might
have a point. If the Uchiha that you considered a brother finds out the truth,
he might turn vengeful on the village and you know what happened last time when
he went to Orochimaru for power.�

Naruto tells Itachi, with a serious tone, �I rather save
Sasuke than destroy him. Personally, I promise that I will try to lead Sasuke
back down the right path and help him rebuild his clan. I don�t want to kill
him, but if Sasuke truly becomes a threat to the Leaf Village that I can�t
reason with, you have my word that I do what is necessary to stop him.�

Itachi tells Naruto, with a bow of his head, �Thank you,
Naruto. I pray that you won�t have to end the Uchiha, but your words give me solace
as I reach my end. I am not afraid to die. I am prepared to atone for my sins.
Now, I shall tell where I request for the final battle between me and Sasuke to
be . . .� As Itachi starts to explain about where he would like his final
battle with his younger brother to be held, there are mixed reactions between
the others in the room with what they learned and what is going to happen . . .

Next time: Chapter
13: The Gathering

Well, this is the next chapter. Like I said before, Itachi
isn�t going to be a villain in this story and in the end, Sasuke won�t be
either. However, I will put difficulties along the way. Next, I�m not sure
fully about Sasuke�s relationships in the story, but Karin from his �Team Snake�
will be one of them. With Naruto, I�m still not sure about the full extend of
his �family�, but I will still work on it. And there are going to be �dark
moments� ahead, but mainly against the villains of the story. Tell me what you
