A/N: GOMEN GOMEN GOMEN GOMEN GOMEN!!! I�m so so so so so� sorry. I�ve been
on vaycay after bitchy finals, and yea� so I�m so so sorry.� Anyway I�m sure you don�t want to hear my
babble, so lets just get into the story again.

Oh and btw these next three chapters are a mini trilogy of
their own and will forever change the story.

Ch 11: Twilight beginnings (part one)

�� Naruto
knelt next to the body of his former teammate, resting one hand on her thigh as
a tear slid down his face, as his other dropped the now unnecessary kunai.� The blood on her face was nearly dry,
suggesting that she had been here for at least an hour.� With a sigh Naruto removed the bloody knife
from her skull, burning it in anger with a single blast of concentrated
chakra.� Closing what was left of her
eyes, Naruto stood, swearing to find Sasuke before he could do anymore damage.
�� As Naruto
took one last glance at his old teammate, Sasuke�s faint chakra signature raced
by; it took Naruto but a second before he was on the trail of the Uchiha.
Naruto could tell by the way Sasuke slowed down after leaving the village
grounds that he had no idea that he was being followed.
Stupid humans, you
would think they would be more careful muttered his mental companion as
they closed in on the unsuspecting Uchiha.
�Not everyone has your senses Ay-chan� said the fox master
as he slowed down his pace to keep a small distance between himself and his
prey.
Just means the brat
should be more careful came the witty reply to which Naruto just rolled his
eyes.
�� Naruto felt
his ex-teammate�s chakra stop suddenly.�
�looks like your wish came true� said Naruto,
as he continued slowly towards the now stationary target.� As Naruto came closer, he noticed that Sasuke
had stopped in a clearing, either a very arrogant move if he knew he was being
followed, or a very stupid one�. And as foolish as Sasuke might�ve been, he
wasn�t stupid.
�� Naruto
stopped in the trees where he could observe Sasuke, his heightened senses
picking up the very strong (and to him disgusting, considering it smells too
much like a snake) odor of Orochimaru�s curse mark.� Naruto cringed as he realized by the
overpowering scent that Sasuke was nearly completely enveloped by the mark.� The fox demon looked down at his cloaked
prey, sighing as he realized he wouldn�t get out of the confrontation.
�� Naruto
stood about to unmask his chakra signature when a senbon was thrown at him.
Without his heightened reflexes, Naruto wouldn�t of
been able to catch the senbon, which still nearly made it to his neck.� �Impossible, he shouldn�t of
been able to feel me� thought the Kayhaku, a growl being his only reply form
Aynara.� Looking down at the Uchiha,
Naruto noticed the most disturbing thing that he had ever seen.� Not only had the Uchiha unlocked the furthest
and strongest bloodline trait of his sharingan, but the curse seal had also
implemented itself into it.� The
bloodline limit had been expanded and regressed through the family tree all the
way back to when the Uchiha�s and the Hyuuga�s were one family�. Sasuke had the
byakugan.
�� With a
grunt Naruto jumped off his branch, landing in the clearing in front of his
rival.� The Uchiha didn�t so much as flinch as the hanyou landed in front of him.�� The raven haired nin
reacted first, two kunai flying at Naruto before the demon could utter a word.
�� Naruto
didn�t even pick up his feet, leaning his head to the right to avoid the first
kunai, catching the second with his tail no more than a centimeter away from
his stomach.� Sasuke charged right after
his first attack, a group of senbon in his knuckles as he through a punch at
Naruto.
�� The kaisune
heir noticed the seeping black chakra coming off of the attack, a signature
trait of Tsunande, the Uchiha had obviously used the
sharingan on Sakura before he killed her. Naruto knelt down, dodging the punch,
while at the same time bringing his left palm up into Sasuke�s stomach in a
near identical taijutsu style to the Hyuuga�s gentle fist, effectively cutting
off all chakra flow in his upper body.
�� The Uchiha
didn�t seem fazed, even taking the blow with a smirk, his red eyes spinning as
they locked on Naruto.� Knowing what was
about to come, Naruto decided to let his mental companion take over.�
�� --
�� The white
moon against the red sky was the demoness� first clue that she had been trapped
inside the Uchiha�s bloodline limit.� The
cloaked figure in front of her was looking at his blade, inspecting it for any
flaws.� Even without his eyes looking at
her, Aynara could tell the boy was smirking.�
�� Flashing
her fangs, and allowing her tails to move behind her, the demoness waited for
the child to look up.� As Sasuke glanced
up from his blade, fully intending on breaking the mind of his stalker in the
longest and shortest thirty days of his life, he froze when he saw that the boy
he was fighting was now a girl� who was emitting an insane amount of chakra.
�� Before
Sasuke could de-activate his jutsu, Aynara was right in front of him.� �You�re too slow human� she whispered in his
ear, driving her clawed hand into his chest.�
Sasuke screamed as he felt his chest cave in, and right as he blacked
out, he awoke again, to find the demoness still there, and to experience the
painful experience again and again.

�� Naruto
cringed as he watch the red eyes of Sasuke go blank
for a mere second, before fading into black, the Uchiha collapsing under his
own mental stress.� Naruto caught his
ex-teammate as he fell, not at all surprised that the Uchiha�s mind was so
badly damaged, he knew how scary Aynara could be.
�� Naruto
stood, about to let his guard down as he felt the Uchiha�s body tense up.� Reacting quickly, Naruto dropped the Uchiha
and sprang back, shocked as he saw Sasuke not only stand up, but manage to
reactivate the sharingan.
It�s the curse mark, he can�t even feel his own pain anymore mentioned
Aynara.� With a mental nod, Naruto
decided it was enough of being on the defense.�
Charging with his superhuman speed, Naruto brought his hand up to cut
the face of the Uchiha with his claws, not surprised when the Uchiha managed to
block the attack.� Expecting the
reaction, Naruto used his forward momentum to spin himself around the Uchiha,
throwing a strong kick at the back of the Uchiha�s knee.
�� Sasuke was
hardly surprised by the speed of his unknown opponent, he could feel the insane
amount of chakra he possessed, but what did surprise the Uchiha was the
familiarity of the chakra� he had felt it before he was sure.� Sasuke jumped out of the way of the main hit,
but just enough of the hit connected to make Sasuke loose his balance and fall
over.
�� The Uchiha
quickly rebounded, throwing a shower of senbon at the demon who
easily dogged them.� Sasuke was getting
aggravated, who was this person? He couldn�t hit him, could barley even touch
him, and Uchiha Sasuke never lost�. Damn Orochimaru, he was promised unlimited
power�. But he still couldn�t touch him even with his curse seal� damn it all.
�who the fuck are you?� muttered
the Uchiha.
Naruto relaxed in his fighting stance, a fanged smirk coming
across his face. �Don�t remember me Uchiha?� said the demon, grinning even more
at the Uchiha�s grunt that he didn�t.�
With a quick one handed series, Naruto reactivated his old henge,
laughing harder as his old friend�s� jaw hit the floor.
�Remember me now Uchiha?� Said the demon.
�It cant be� you were never that strong�.�
Muttered Sasuke, � Uzamaki Naruto�
