Sky blue eyes stared towards the orange fox within her cage, her eyes remained closed, her breathing in deep, long, steady breaths, his eyes continued to stare towards her, his body curled tightly into a ball near the corner of her cage.
He had long since lost the fear of being so close to the fox, he knew she would not harm him, not after all they had both gone through, not after the way she had treated him within the last two months of his capture.
He stared towards her, watching as her body shifted slightly, her tail stretching out brushing against his feet.
The silence around them was shattered with the irritable sigh escaping the fox's mouth, Naruto watched as her red eyes opened, and droop in exhaustion as she stared towards him, she was tired, she was exhausted, although he could not fathom why she would be so drained, her chakra was still refusing to heal him, even though Gaara had long since had someone remove the seal
“What are you doing here brat?”
“Do I need a reason? Its my body... My mind”
“Its my cage... And I'm far too tired to be dealing with you right now”
“I don't know why... Lazy ass fox... Its not like your doing anything right now anyways” Her eyes narrowed towards the young human, the fur upon her back rose slightly in aggression, but then she settled herself down, her fur lowered, her eyes closing, and a deep saddened sigh escaped her lips
“Its not your fault you are so moody today” He felt his brows raise slightly in confusion at her words
“What do you mean.... Its not my fault?” He watched as her head lowered slightly, her eyes staring towards her front paws laid upon the ground, but no answer was given, no indication of her meanings were given to him, and it was the silence that made him snap, his eyes narrowed his fist slammed down against the floor, his eyes darkened towards the fox demon
“Damn it Kyuubi answer me!” It was the first time since their sudden friendship that the fox had begun to keep secrets from him, it was the first time he had felt in the dark while the Kyuubi seemed to know what was going on.
He heard her sigh deeply, before she pulled herself off the floor, and stepped towards him, her tail brushing against his side, as she seated down before him, he could feel the soft strokes of her tail along his cheek, and he felt his body stiffen.
What ever she was going to tell him, he was not going to like it
“You remember me telling you, rape was common in my world”
“Yes” He struggled to keep his voice steady, as the flash backs of his first attack flooded his mind, he remembered how he fled back into the darkness of himself, to hide with the Kyuubi, and how she told the stories of her world, a world filled with demons, a world where violence was the answer to everything, how she herself had been forced to birth pups from five different mates at a young age, and how it was all unwanted.
He remembered her story well, it was that day he stopped fearing the Kyuubi, he stopped blaming her for everything that had gone wrong in his life, she too was just a victim of circumstance, she too was just an abused soul, scared, alone, and angry.
He realized he would have become like her, hateful of the world, destroying innocent people, if she hadn't of shown him the love of a mother, showed him he was not alone in the struggle to accept what had happened to him
“What is wrong with me!?” He felt his voice crack in a desperate sob, his hands began to shake as they held onto the silky soft tufts of fur, he felt her pull at him slightly, sliding his body past the bars of the cage, he felt his body press against her warm, softly plush body, he could hear her heart beat, and then soon his own, then he heard it, the faintest sound of a third heart beat, a quickened one, one much too fast, and hushed to be human
“You are with pup... You carry within you the off spring of your unwanted mating” His body tensed against her own, his eyes widening as he stared towards the darkness of the Kyuubi's cage
“That sound.. The sound of fast, yet light as a feather heart beat, is the sound of your foetus's heart developing” Naruto felt his legs become like jelly, and collapse under him, he felt his body held upright by the Kyuubi's powerful large paws
“I have a proposition for you kit.... I have been watching the pup grow... and if you want, I have the ability to remove it for you...
But before you jump to any decisions... I want you to think this over carefully... I will not take any answers given to me until two moons have past... And the sun has risen on the third day... Understood?” The shock had frozen him, but his mind took every word in, Kyuubi was given him an out, giving him a chance to get out of this situation
“But know this child, if you get rid of the foetus within you... You will never get it back, you will never have a second chance... you will never know what its like to hold this baby within your arms, to fall in love with the little one you helped create”
“How do you know... I will love it?! How do you know I won't despise it?! How do you know I won't give it up after birth?!”
“Because you desperately want something to love... Something that will love you back” He felt her nose press against his stomach, a sudden warm sensation flowing over him, a feeling he had only ever felt when he was near Iruka, a feeling of love
“You will love the child... As much as he loves you”
“Think hard about this decision, Your answer in three days will be your final answer”
“I think.... I should go... t-think this over”
“You do that kit.... And remember... No matter what you decide in the end, no one will judge you, no one will hate you” Naruto's eyes opened slowly, staring towards the white ceiling above him, his eyes stared towards the blank whiteness of the hospital above him
“Naruto!” Naruto's head turned slowly staring towards the brunette seated beside him, a smile began to form on Naruto's face recognizing the chocolate brown eyes, the high pulled pony tail, and that unforgettable scar that gave the man so much character
“Mama” He watched as Iruka's eyes began to fill with tears, he felt the warmth of the mans hand run through his golden locks in long comforting, loving strokes
“You had us worried, you were asleep for so long”
“I... I'm sorry... I just....” He felt the tears filling his own eyes as he watched Iruka fawn over him like a mother hen would do to her chicks.
And he felt sick, disgusted that his teacher, his mother figure was tainting his hands touching his filthy skin
“P-please stop... D-Don't touch me” It was as if Naruto's words had burned Iruka's skin, his hand darted back so fast Naruto worried the man would hurt himself
“I-I' sorry.. I didn't think.... I...”
“I-Its not you... Its... I....” Iruka watched with worried eyes as Naruto's tears began to flow freely, he desperately wanted to hold the blonde, to sooth the tears away.
He wanted everything to be normal again, but nothing was going to be the same, not after this, not after Naruto had been hurt so viciously
“I'm dirty... D-don't touch me... I'm dirty... S-So dirty...”
“No.... No you're not...”
“Don't lie to me! H-he was in me... I-inside my body! I... He... He touched me... Oh god... He... He... Inside... me....” His self restraint snapped, and within seconds he was upon Naruto's bed, holding the blonde close in his arms, letting the younger sob into his chest, his body began to rock back and forth slowly, as his eyes stared towards the door way, silently threatening the nurse to leave.
They stayed like that, in each others embrace, as they listened to the sounds of people walking around, and talking outside the room, and it was Iruka who broke the silence first
“You know Naruto.... Not everyone is perfect” Naruto remained silent, his eyes staring towards the green vest Iruka had worn, his body gone limp within the mans touch
“I... I guess if you think your tainted... I guess me and most of the other nin in Konoha must be as well” Naruto's eyes turned upwards towards Iruka, staring at his face
“W-what do you... Mean?”
“Almost everyone in our village, at one point or another has been sexually assaulted in one way or another, I was raped on one of my first missions as a Chuunin ... It wasn't a dangerous one, it was only a C rank mission, but my teammates at the time thought I was very... Beautiful.... It was the worst three nights of my life... When I returned to Konoha, and debriefed the Hokage... The three men responsible where arrested”
“What happened to them?”
“They are still in Konoha, only they don't come anywhere near me, Gekkou and Hagane made sure they knew not to come near me... They were my moral support through it... Support I hope I can be for you Naruto... You are not filthy, you are not dirty, what was done to you happens too often, its a horrible painful crime... It never should have happened to you... I wish I could take away all the pain... All the suffering you went through in that two and a half months”
“Wait... Two... And a half?... H-How long have I been asleep?”
“I arrived in a week after you did... I've been here for a week Naruto” Naruto felt his body tense up again, he pulled himself to a seated position
“As soon as you are released from the hospital, We are going to take you back to Konoha...”
“Why am I still in the hospital!? I've been here two weeks” He watched as Iruka's face fell into a frown, he allowed himself to sigh his hands gripping the sheets below him
“The doctors can't seem to figure out why your chakra is so low, or why your blood is so low on iron, they have been working around the clock, no one can figure out what is going on with you... But they will! I promise!” Naruto lightly touched his stomach, his hands shaking slightly as he did, his fingers gripping the fabric of his gown
“I.... I know whats wrong with me...” Iruka's attention was perked, as he turned his head back towards the blonde, watching his actions
“Something.... Orochimaru did.... Something he gave me... I... Iruka... I'm not crazy okay?! I... I just know it... I... I'm.... I have.... I... Its....”
“Naruto its okay... Calm down.... What is it?”
“I'm carrying Sasuke's child” Naruto watched as Iruka's face turned from utter shock, to a slightly amused smirk
“Very funny Naruto, I'm glad to see your well enough for your tricks”
“Its not a trick... Iruka feel” Before the elder could move, he felt his hand pulled from his lap, and placed firmly upon Naruto's stomach.
Nothing
“Naruto... There is nothing”
“Feel the chakra Iruka” Iruka sighed, and closed his eyes, if only to amuse Naruto, he stayed perfectly still, feeling the fainted flow of Naruto's chakra.
Then he felt it, the light spark of another chakra source deep within Naruto's abdomen, a faint source that seemed to feed off the blonde haired male's own chakra.
Iruka's hand pulled back sharply, his eyes staring towards Naruto in shock and confusion
“Naruto... You” Naruto lowered his head, shamefully staring at the sheets below, his hands shaking as he held the sheets clenched tightly in his fingers
“You're pregnant...”
