A/N: This may sound redundant, but I feel it is very important to express my thanks to everyone who reviewed this story. Because not only does it inflate my ego, but it gives me a reason to keep writing... Or at least to keep posting. I would write this story anyways, but if no one enjoyed my work enough to review, then I don't think I would bother posting any of my stories. Dislcaimer: Why oh why do I now own Naruto or Sekirei! Have I not earned the right to a little compensation for all of my hard work? Have I not slaved over this computer in order to bring the people good entertainment? Does Murphy hate me so much that he can't even see fit to give me some good luck? And what about Karma? I like the think that I'm a nice person... usually... sometimes... … Damn.
Chapter 10: The Winds of War
XoX Takami frowned as she listened to the report coming from the man on the other line of her cell phone. The frown etching her face grew and grew until it looked like she'd had plastic surgery done to make her lips stretch so far down on her face that it could not be considered normal for a human. By the time the man on the other line had finished talking, her face looked decidingly awkward. "Thank you," she said, even though she felt sick to her stomach. She had nothing to be thankful for, not when she knew what was going to happen. Shutting off the phone she turned to look at Minaka who, as always, was standing near the edge of the tower and looking out at the city like a king staring at his subjects. Or a god looking down on his creations. It was enough to make her sick. "The surveillance satellites been reprogrammed. Troops have been mobilized, everything is ready now." "Eh Hehehehahahahaha!" At Minaka's laugh Takami grit her teeth. Not only did she not like that laugh, she hated how he was acting, like this was all some kind of game. "Excellent! Finally the time has come!" "How can you stand there and laugh about this!" Minaka stopped laughing and turned his head to look at the woman behind him, a smile on his face. "What are you so afraid of, Takami-chan?" "It's not that I'm afraid. It's just that I'm fed up." Her words seemed to spark surprise from Minaka because he ended up losing his balance and fell off the ledge. Most unfortunately, for Takami at least, he managed to grab onto the lip of the building at the last second. As he pulled himself back up he began to speak. "Come on, Takami-chan, you knew this was inevitable. It has been ever since we touched the corpse of the god." Minaka smile seemed to turn nostalgic as he remembered that day. On his face the look was twisted and marred, It reminded Takami of the look of someone who enjoyed toying with others for their own amusement. "I'll never forget that day, when I became the game master! Ahahahahahaha!" Takami grimaced as she closed her eyes. She could never forget that day either. That was the day everything went to hell. She could still remember when she and Minaka had gone to an island that had randomly sprung up from the ocean due to a large earthquake. Even then Minaka had been an idiot, running all around the island without even giving a thought to how dangerous such a thing could be. That was the first time she had realized how stupid people really were. How could anyone in their right mind believe that a man like Hiroto Minaka was a 'super genius' and the brightest mind of the university was beyond her. Just because his grades had been off the charts, along with having an IQ over 200 did not mean the man was not a complete and utter idiot. Minaka defined stupidity with his complete lack of common sense. Nut case or not the discovery they had made on that island was incredible. A giant spaceship with technologies more advanced then anything she had ever seen before. It had been buried inside of the ground itself, with only the top front side of the ship had been visible. Despite having been on the bottom of the ocean for who knows how many years it had still been in decent shape and miraculously enough still had power. And what they had found inside... Inside that ship, they had discovered one-hundred and eight Sekirei. Or wingless birds, as Minaka had called them. Minaka had then used the far more advanced technology found in the ship to form MBI, which soon became one of the most powerful corporations on earth. After Minaka founded MBI, he named the deserted Island "Kamikura Island" and somehow turned the place into his own private land where he continued his research. Even to this day she did not understand how he had managed to accomplish so much, even managing to remove the island from all maps of the world and hide it from the satellites of various nations. Yet somehow he did, and now... … Now he was playing with the lives of one-hundred and eight Sekirei along with their Ashikabis. Not a day went by when she did not regret agreeing to follow this man, whose insanity seemed to grow with each passing day. And she couldn't even back out now, she was too deeply involved. All she could do was run damage control as best she could and hope for the best. She only had one hope, well two, but her best hope was the man that had just managed to wing another Sekirei, Number nine, the one who was said to hate Ashikabi, whilst evading all of the people after him using some kind of technique that allowed him to create replications and transform them into his Sekirei. All she could do was hope and pray that Kagari's and Miya's instincts were right about the man he was living with at Izumo Inn. She could only pray that Uzumaki Naruto would be capable of changing the fate of the Sekirei Plan. XoX "Achoo!" Naruto's right eye twitched as he found himself unable to use his hands to cover his nose, thus resulting in himself getting sprayed with mucus. At least he had managed to use his wind chakra to keep most of it away from himself... and his sleeping mates. A mixture of water manipulation and wind manipulation later and his face was clean again, though he was still annoyed. Turning his head Naruto found himself looking at the reasons he was unable to move his arms, or any part of his body. Currently on his left was Tsukuimi, pressed so firmly against his side that her face was hovering just centimeters from his own. He could literally feel her breath hitting him and was surprised she had not been been on the receiving end of his sneeze as well, wind chakra be damned. On his other side was Musubi, a peaceful smile on her face as she pressed her head against his shoulder. His arm was firmly planted in the valley of her breasts, which was further immobilized by her arms which were wrapped around his like a snake. She too was pressed up rather close to him. Lying directly on top of him were both Akitsu and Matsu. Somehow, someway they had both managed to fit onto his frame, namely by sleeping on their sides and holding each other. It was pretty erotic if he were honest, the way they were pressing against each other, their breasts smashed together and their lips mere millimeters apart. They looked like they might kiss at any moment. Finally, little Kusano was lying slightly on top of Musubi, but had sometime during the night managed to wiggle her way in between his and the brunette Sekirei's body and was clutching onto his waist. He could still remember how an argument had nearly broken out last night about who would get to sleep with him. Once more Tsukuimi had declared that 'only his real wife could sleep with him and that wife is me, wench' when Musubi had come into the room to sleep with him. The two had glared at each other for well over fifteen minutes. Well, Tsuikimi had glared. Naruto honestly didn't think Musubi knew how to glare, the girl didn't seem to have a mean bone in her body. Instead she had stared at the blond water-type Sekirei with a small smile on her face. He got the feeling she thought of their fight as more of a competition then anything else. The others hadn't helped much either. Matsu had spent most of her time rubbing her cheek against his back while making very sensual purring noises. Naruto had been unsure whether she had been doing that to try and make him horny, or if she had just been doing it because she was a complete and utter pervert that would have made Jiraiya proud. He had decided on a mixture of both. Then Kusano had refused to go to Miya's room when he had tried taking her there. Apparently she felt it was her right to sleep with him too, which had just been all kinds of creepy. And of course, Tsukuimi had had something to say about that. She had told Kusano that there was no way a brat like her would be sleeping with them tonight. This had led to an altercation between her and Kusano. It had been almost amusing to watch the pair growling at each other like a pair of dogs fighting over the same bone. At least it would have were it not for the fact that he was the bone. Matsu had been just as bad. When he had mentioned that Miya was unlikely to be very forgiving when she got the woman in his room, she had just replied that she was there to observe 'these two wild women' aka Musubi and Tsukuimi. She would have included Kusano in that statement, but she was just a kid so they didn't count her. In the end Naruto had just given up. Really, he should have realized from the start that it was a hopeless endeavor. While he had never been in this situation before, namely sharing a bed with more then one women at the same time – platonically of course – he had learned early on in his life that in any kind of relationship the woman always got her way. The fact that he had five – or four and a half if you wanted to get technical – women in his life just made things that much more impossible for him to ever win. At the very least he was pleased that Akitsu was so docile. It seemed that she was willing to accept whatever he decided. Naruto was not sure if that was a good thing. While he liked the fact that she was easy going and seemed to just go with the flow, he was almost one-hundred percent positive that her attitude, or lack there of, was merely a by-product of her past. She didn't want to be thrown out again, and it was clear that even though he had told the ice user that he would never discard her and always treasure her, some small part of her still feared being let go. It would take a lot of work on his part to help her. He wasn't quite sure what to do, but figured the best way would be to make her more involved with everyone else. "Ashikabi-Sama?" Naruto blinked as he found gray eyes staring at him. "Ah, ohayo Akitsu-chan," he whispered softly. A concerned look crossed his face for a moment. "I didn't wake you did I?" Akitsu shook her head and whispered back. "No, I have been awake for a while now... I just didn't want to leave the warmth here." Naruto smiled at the woman but was still slightly concerned about her. Before he could say anything she continued. "When you sneezed I just figured you might be awake now." "Ah..." Naruto looked at her, then down at his immobile body. His eyes moved back up to see her staring at him curiously and he grinned. "Um, I would gladly get up to give you a morning kiss, but uh... as you can see I'm kind of immobile. Do you think you could...?" He trailed off, leaving the sentence unfinished. But it was enough that she understood what he was asking. Her eyes lit up as she smiled. It wasn't much of one, just a small upturn on the sides of her lips. But it was still filled with warmth, and she had been smiling a lot more as of late, something he was truly grateful for. "I would love to..." she whispered in a... husky(?) voice. She leaned down and placed her mouth directly over Naruto's. He felt the small pull on his chakra as her wings flared out behind her, but ignored that in favor of focusing on her lips and opening his mouth to deepen the kiss. Like all women, each Sekirei had vastly different personalities that made them solely unique. And just like their personalities differed, each Sekirei had a personal preference when it came to intimacy; where they liked to be touched, what they liked to hear from the man they were with, and how they liked to kiss. He and Akitsu had not gone very far yet, not beyond basic exploration of hands while they were fully clothed. Which was somewhat odd considering they had washed each other on several occasions. Akitsu was a very gentle person, she did not like battling tongues or confrontation when she kissed. She liked it when she and Naruto were synchronized, when their kiss was more akin to a dance then a battle. Where their tongues simply caressed each other as they moved into the others mouths. Much like her personality when she kissed, Akitsu was very docile. Considering she preferred clothing with chains around her neck and didn't wear underwear very often, Naruto felt her nature was in direct contradiction of her outfit. Not that he could complain, she was damn sexy in her clothing. It was as Naruto and Akitsu were getting a little more into it, with the Sekirei moaning into his mouth, that Miya, cutting knife in hand, slammed the door open and looked at them with an evil smile. Had her eyes always been red and gleaming like that? "Good morning, Naruto-san," she said. The smile on her face was truly terrifying today, she was in perfect form as the knife in her hand flashed in the sunlight, gleaming with malicious intent and a thirst for blood. Naruto was unconcerned. As he broke the kiss with Akitsu he looked over at Miya and gave her his usual smile, as if nothing was wrong and Miya wasn't making threatening motions at him for his display of affection with Akitsu. "Good morning, Miya-chan. How are you this morning?" Miya's right eye gained a slight tic mark. Really, she respected him greatly due to the fact that he was not afraid of her like everyone else. It was a credit to his character and in all honesty gave her someone who she could communicate with without having them constantly walking on eggshells around her. But just this once she would have appreciated it if he was. Despite this she pressed on. "Well it appears you have forgotten one of my cardinal rules here," she kept her smile up as she made very small chopping – threatening – motions with her knife. "Illicit relations are strictly forbidden." "No, I didn't forget," Naruto said. He looked down at the girls as they were just beginning to stir, then turned his eyes back towards the landlady with the knife. "But let's be honest here, I have five Sekirei each with a mind of their own and each determined to get what they want. You're a woman so you should know, a man can never win an argument against their wife, no matter how hard he may try. Well, technically, I have five." Miya blinked. Her mouth, which had been opened to scold him some more snapped shut. Really, what could she say to that? Not that she didn't try. She was silent after that as her mind worked on just what she could say to argue her point, in which time the other four Sekirei woke up and Naruto even had time to give each one of them their good morning kiss – and this was despite both Musubi and Tsukuimi arguing about who would get the first kiss, never mind that Akitsu had already won – though Kusano only got the butterfly treatment. "Um... Miya-chan?" There was more blinking involved as Miya found a hand being waved in front of her face. The hand belonged to Naruto and he was looking at her in mild concern. "Yes?" she said, trying to get her mind back on track. "Are you alright?" he asked, a frown on his face. "You were staring off into space for so long I was getting kind of worried." "Oh, I'm fine," she replied somewhat absently. She was still trying to find her counter argument after all. "Well, if your sure." Naruto did not sound convinced, but he was willing to just drop it in favor of getting the day started. "Anyways, the others are already downstairs so we should probably head down too." Miya frowned as she looked over Naruto's shoulder to see that, indeed, the room was empty of all signs of life except for them. She wondered just how it was they had managed to slip past her, especially since she was standing directly in the doorway. She couldn't be losing her touch... Could she? She was once again startled out of her thoughts by Naruto, who much to her embarrassment had put his forehead against hers. "Huh? You don't have a fever, but your face is all red." Miya's eyes widened and her mouth opened in an 'o' as she tried to speak, only for no words to form. The blond saw this and frowned even more. "Are you sure your feeling alright? Your really not acting like yourself today." "I-I'm fine," Miya jerked her head away from his and quickly spun on her heel. She didn't even bother looking back as began walking towards the stairs. "Come on, Naruto-san, breakfast is ready." Naruto frowned as he ran a hand through his hair. Looking up at the ceiling he sighed. "I can already tell, it's going to be one of those days." He released a chuckle a few moments later and made his way out the door. XoX It didn't take long before Miya was once again back in perfect form. By the time Naruto had come downstairs and sat at the living room table, the purple-haired beauty was already giving out new living quarters. She stared at all of them with a very stern expression on her face as she spoke to them. "Because of how... improper all of you are behaving I have decided to allocate specific rooms for everyone." As she spoke her hand went into her kimono and pulled out a sheet of paper. She slid it onto the table, revealing that it was a basic map of the second floor of Izumo Inn. "Now, Ku, you'll be sleeping in my room like you have been." Kusano did not seem to like this, as she gained a depressed look on her face and she slumped down against the table. Miya ignored this as she continued speaking. "Now, we do have a problem in that we only have one extra room. Therefore I have determined that the only way I can truly solve this is by having you all on a rotation in which one of you will get to sleep with Naruto-san on select days." "What!" Tsukuimi slammed her fist onto the table. "That is unacceptable! I am his wife, if there is anyone who doth deserve to sleep with him, it's me!" "I'm his wife too!" Two guesses on who this is. "Shut up!" It seemed that Miya was not in the mood to listen to their bickering today. That, or she was just pissed about how things had turned out when she went upstairs to reprimand Naruto and his Sekirei. In either case, the reasons did not seem all that important as the same purple energy began leaking from her body. A hanya mask appeared directly above her, it's mouth opening to hiss. That, combined with her narrow eyed smile, the upper half of her face being overshadowed by her hair, and the feeling of death that surrounded her was more then enough to cause the two to become silent. She was glad to see that her abilities still worked on them at least. "Ladies I've already made my decision. Is, that, understood?" "Yes ma'am," Musubi spoke in a soft voice. Her head tilted down and she gained an intense interest in the table. It wasn't long before Tsukuimi began admiring the fine piece of furniture as well. "Yes, it is. And I accept what thou has decided." "Very good," Miya said in a pleasant voice. The mask vanished and the aura of DOOM that had surrounded her disappeared, it was like it had never existed. Only they knew better. "Personally, I think you girls should consider yourselves very lucky that I am even allowing you to spend a night in Naruto-san's rooms. Were it not for the fact that we simply do not have enough space available I would have forced you all into separate bedrooms completely." They winced at hearing that. None of them had any desire to be separated from Naruto. Whether they were willing to admit it out loud or not, even when they all had to sleep together, being in the same bed as their Ashikabi was the best experience they could think of. "Wait," Naruto started, crossing his arms as a generally confused expression came to his face. "We have four rooms upstairs if you include Uzume's. Each room is supposed to be fit for at least two people. By that Logic, you have one empty room in which two of them can share a space, but what about Matu's room? Couldn't one of them sleep in there?" All of his Sekirei face palmed, even Musubi and Kusano, as Naruto just unwittingly gave Miya the perfect way to keep them separated. Each of them swore to give their Ashikabi a piece of their mind, even if their landlady didn't decide to follow through on his suggestion. "You make a good point," Miya hummed in thought as she tapped her left index finger against her chin. Everyone gulped. "However, Matsu's room is really only suitable for someone like Matsu to live in." All of the Sekirei breathed a silent sigh of relief. They were saved. Miya smiled. "Of course, since Matsu doesn't need to worry about sharing a room. She also doesn't need to worry about sleeping with you." Just then a loud scream tore through the house. "WWWWHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT!" When it ended, Miya covered her mouth with her left hand as he giggled. "Oh my... it seems I've made her angry." XoX Inside of her bedroom/computer lab, Matsu was utterly livid. "That... that horrid, retched woman! How dare she keep me from sleeping with Naruto-tan! I mean sure, just because I have every intention of jumping his bones and having hot, passionate, raunchy sex the first chance I get doesn't mean she has the right to keep me from sleeping with MY Ashikabi! I bet she's doing this to be spiteful! Yes, that must be it! She's trying to pay me back for that one time I made fun of Takehita for being a minute man! Well! I'll show her what happens when you mess with me! Oh yes... I'll show her real good!" As the red heads ranting degenerated into creepy giggles while she thought of all the many punishments she could – if it didn't have a one hundred percent chance of having her getting gutted like a fish – commit upon Miya – most of them very perverted in nature, one in particular involved toilet paper, a strap on and some lubricant – her computer began to chime, signaling that something major was happening in the city. It was enough to knock her out of her thoughts on punishing Miya in the most perverted way possible. Wiping away the drool that had accumulated on her mouth and chin, Matsu focused her eyes on the monitor as a map appeared on the screen, along with several lines of data that she was quick to read. "The troop deployments are changing. And so rapidly too, I wonder why." She frowned, a rare expression of seriousness on her face as she began typing away on her keyboard. She put aside any and all thoughts of perverted punishment – pleasurable thoughts as they were – and began focusing on finding out everything she could on this new development for Naruto. Something big was going to happen, and she needed to find out what. XoX Around midday Miya had left to pick up some groceries. Oddly enough, or perhaps not so oddly considering all that had happened between his Sekirei, she had decided to take Naruto with her. It was done under the claim that she was concerned about what he and the others would get up to with her not around to chaperone. None of his Sekirei liked that, but they couldn't really say anything to dispute her words. All of them, even Musubi – Kusano was not included in this – held thoughts of getting Naruto to themselves and doing slightly naughty acts. Admittedly, Matsu's ideas were the most perverse, followed in second place by Tsukuimi whose thoughts were more mature then Musubi's – who just wanted to kiss – and while not more mature then Akitsu, the ice user felt she was not ready to take her relationship with the blond that far, though she would not mind experimenting. The fact that Miya had once again given them her demonic visage and scary smile had nothing to do with the decision not to put up and argument. Really. Miya had also assigned them chores while she was gone. Or at least, Musubi, Kusano and Akitsu had been assigned chores, Tsukuimi was no where to be seen at the time. And that was where Musubi could be found. She had grabbed the house from the back yard and turned on the water and had just finished bringing it to the front yard. While Akitsu swept the front porch, she and Kusano had been given the task of watering the garden while Miya and Naruto were away. Normally this would be Naruto and Kusano's job, as the two both enjoyed gardening, but Musubi felt she was just as capable of doing a good job with this. She had no idea that someone would soon be coming to pay her a visit. XoX Karasuba was not a woman to be crossed. As Sekirei number four and leader of the disciplinary squad, also know as the black Sekirei, her fighting prowess and reputation as being bloodthirsty and utterly ruthless when crushing her opponents – or cutting them in half with her sword – had made many of the Sekirei fear her greatly. She was a woman of decent height, standing at 174 centimeters. Her outfit consisted of the uniform all female members of the first generation Disciplinary Squad had been equipped with. A Tight black leather top, a miniskirt and stockings, with a grey haori with the Sekirei Crest printed on it being thrown over her shoulders. She had long light grey hair tied in a ponytail and grey narrow eyes. She was usually seen with bags under her eyes, giving her an exhausted look. It could not hide the blood lust in her eyes. "Just call me when your done." Karasuba looked into the red convertible she had just hopped out of and at the man who had spoken. A normal sized young gentleman with brown hair, wearing an elaborate suit with a white shirt underneath and a black tie. This was her Ashikabi, Ichinomi Natsuo. "I will," she said in a cheerful voice that was not only so fake only someone truly naïve would be able to not realize it, but also contained a condescending sarcasm for just about everything around her. "I'm just going to check up on her." The man did not reply as he sped away, which suited her just fine. She put up with Natsuo because he had his uses, nothing more. It wasn't hard to find the place she was looking for, Izumo Inn was not a very conspicuous building. As she stopped just a few feet from the gate she gave a closed eyed smile, it almost made her look like a fox but that would be an insult to Naruto and his whiskers. "Ah ha, I hope you are doing well here. My little bird." She began walking again in slow, measured steps. She was in a bit of rush, but didn't want to appear it. Information had it that the landlady was out and would likely be gone for at least an hour, so she needed to be quick. As she began to get closer she heard a voice, laughter. It was the laughter of a child. No doubt that would be Sekirei number one-hundred and eight, the plant-type Sekirei that Takami had lost when her powers went out of control. Smiling, Karasuba walked through the front gate just as she heard the voice of the one she came to see – "I can't let you have it. If I did you'd get wet." – and was promptly soaked when Musubi moved the hose away from Kusano and coincidentally right in her path. Both Musubi and Kusano slowly turned their heads when they heard Karasuba sputter as she was hit with the water from the hose. Then Musubi yelped in surprise and quickly changed the houses direction. Not surprisingly she ended up hitting Kusano in the face. "Ah! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" Karasuba sighed. This girl really tried her patience. "Or her, your as scatter brained as always." Still, she had her uses. After all, this was the child that she had given her life to save. Plastering a smile on her face, Karasuba lifted her head. "Hey, Musubi." "Karasuba!" And like the naïve girl that she was, Musubi didn't even realize the smile on the woman's face was completely fake. "Why are you here?" "Well, I head a rumor about you and wanted to come check it out for myself," Karasuba replied lightly. There had been quite a few rumors about Musubi in the past month in fact, but most of them had not quite been about her – even if she did feature prominently in most of them. "Did I come at a bad time?" "No, not at all, come in!" As always the girl was quite cheerful. Karasuba didn't know whether she should be amused or disgusted. She decided to go with a combination of both. Not that she led the fist-type Sekirei know her thoughts. She just put on a smile as she followed her 'dear friend' into her new home. As she passed by the door Karasuba was able to recognize Sekirei number seven, Akitsu, the so called broken Sekirei, now known as the 'blessed Sekirei' due to her being winged when it should have been impossible. The ice user frowned at her, clearly she saw what Musubi didn't. However, the woman also seemed to realize that Karasuba was leagues above her, because she did nothing to stop her from entering the inn. Karasuba followed Musubi up the stairs and into what was most likely the girls room. There, Musubi opened the closet and pulled out a white robe. "Here, you can use my clothes until yours dry. I'm really sorry about this." "Don't be, it's ok," Karasuba said as Musubi helped her put the robe on. As she looked at herself in the mirror, a frown worked it's way onto her face. Turning to the brunette Sekirei she just had to ask. "I didn't see your Ashikabi anywhere, is he not around?" "Ah, Naruto-Sama went grocery shopping with Miya-san." The statement surprised Karasuba, she had not expected Miya to actually invite a male to go shopping with her. She hid her surprise well, however, as Musubi continued. "Miya-san said she couldn't trust us not to do indecent things with him if she left us alone." It was clear the girl was confused, and Karasuba couldn't help but laugh, both at the girls inability to understand sexual connotations, and that Miya would go so far to keep things from getting 'indecent' in her inn. If nothing else, Musubi was good for a laugh. "Ah! A Sekirei symbol!" Karasuba blinked. She turned her head slightly to see where Musubi was looking, then smiled. "Yep, I've been winged as well." "That's really awesome! Congratulations!" The smile on Musubi's face was brilliant enough to light the entire room. She was truly happy for Karasuba, which the swordswoman felt was ironic. "And to you for defeating number forty-three," Karasuba said in return. Though the battle againsy forty-three was considered old news when compared to some of the newest information on the battles she had been in with recently – thanks in large part to the price Minaka had put on Naruto's head before rescinding it recently when he realized that he was losing players faster then he wanted. However, number forty-three had been one of the highest Sekirei numbers that they had fought and defeated so far. "I suppose I should also say nice job defeating numbers thirty-eight and thirty-nine. I was very impressed when I heard about that victory." At least in that regard, Karasuba was being honest. She had seen that fight, for the most part, the smoke screen had made it so that the satellite video she had used to watch the battle was unable to see much. But she had seen the outcome of that battle. Anyone who could fight two Sekirei with long range weapons, while in a smoke screen that hampered all vision, deserved some praise. Unless they were someone like her or Miya. Something like that wouldn't even slow them down. "Huh?" and as usual Musubi responded with a confused look. Right until she realized who Karasuba was talking about. "Oh them!" She raised her fists in the air as a serious expression crossed her face. Well, it was more like a pout, but it was serious for Musubi. "They were so mean, first that scythe girl tried to hurt Ku-chan! Then those whip girls attacked me two-on-one! Bunch of bullies!" Karasuba laughed. "You haven't changed a bit, Musubi." Turning to face the brunette, an actual smile crossed her face. "Anyway, I just came to confirm something." Musubi tilted her head and adopted a look of bafflement. "What's that?" "Our promise." Karasuba held up her left hand, pinky extended as she smiled. "You do remember it, right?" "Of course I remember!" Musubi said with a smile as she locked her own pinky with Karasuba's. "Great!" Karasuba smiled as they shook. She hadn't expected any less from Musubi, but it still pleased her to know that the girl remembered there promise. There was nothing like proving someone wrong and crushing all of their hopes and dreams. And she wouldn't be able to do that, unless Musubi remembered their promise. "I wonder if my clothes are dry," Karasuba wondered out loud. Musubi just smiled as she began walking towards the door. "Let's see!" Following the cheerful Sekirei, Karasuba walked out of the room. As she did, she caught sight of Matsu out of the corner of her eyes. A smirk appeared on her face when the girl recognized her. She enjoyed the look of the red heads eyes widening and could almost smell her fear from here. Not even a second later the secret door to Matsu's room slammed shut, and Karasuba was forced to withhold a chuckle. Following Musubi they went to check and see if her clothes were dry. They were, and Karasuba was able to get dressed much to Musubi's disappointment who wanted her to stay longer. She might have agreed but without knowing how long Miya would stay away, felt it was prudent for her to leave. Not that she cared about the woman, but she wasn't here to fight her. Yet. Eventually, her blood would be spilled the same as everyone else's. As she said good bye to Musubi, she absently noted the way the blond woman was watching her with wary eyes. Karasuba recognized her as Sekirei number nine, Tsukuimi. Even if she did not want to, she had to admit that it was impressive to see the number of Sekirei Musubi's Ashikabi had gathered to him. He was a very mysterious and enigmatic figure, this Uzumaki Naruto. When she walked outside of the gate, after saying good bye to Musubi, she paused. Her head turned and her eyes looked upwards to see a man in a black coat with white hair. She recognized him of course, the guardian of unwinged Sekirei. The man looked taken aback at being caught by her, causing a smirk to appear on Karasuba's face, before she began to walk off again. It was truly amusing. The reactions fear could inspire. XoX While Musubi was entertaining her house guest, our blond protagonist found himself carrying the groceries on the way home. They had spent nearly an hour buying food of all kinds, meat, flour, fish, fruits, vegetables and other ingredients that Miya felt were a necessity. By the time they had finished shopping, Naruto found himself carrying twenty-six bags, all filled to the brim with food. It seemed that because she had the help of a 'big, strong man' she felt the need to stock up on more groceries then normal. Naruto just felt she wanted a pack mule. "Tell me again," he said in a mock disgruntled tone. "Why did you want me to go with you." He didn't mind, really. Miya was a pretty chill person, when she wasn't going all demon on them. However, while carrying a boat load of groceries was not hard, really. He just didn't like being used as a pack mule unless he got something out of it. Clothes shopping was one thing, he got to see his Sekirei in sexy clothing – and if he was lucky, lingerie – but shopping for groceries yielded nothing. "I just wanted someone to walk with me," Miya said with a smile. It was clear she was teasing him, Naruto could see that she was on the verge of breaking. Her lips twitched, and he knew she was doing her best to contain a giggle. "Riiiiight." He rolled his eyes. "I think you just wanted –" "Ladies and gentlemen of Shinto Teito." Naruto was cut off mid sentence as the voice resounded through out the city. Looking up, the blond shinobi and his purple-haired shopping companion were granted the unpleasant gift of seeing Hiroto Minaka on every advertisement screen on the buildings around the city. "This is Hiroto Minaka, President of MBI speaking. I am here to announce that MBI has seized the capital." Muttering whisperings broke out around them. Naruto narrowed his eyes as the man on screen continued. "As of today the entire city is under our control." Beside him, Miya narrowed her eyes as well. "With MBI at the helm we will usher in a new age of the gods that begins here!" "It looks like Minaka is making his next move," Naruto muttered. Miya stopped her glaring to look at the blond beside her, and was only mildly surprised to see his eyes were narrowed to slits. "Let's see what you plan to do next." The man continued a second later. "Now, even though there's been a change of management there's no need to worry. Life here in the capital will continue as usual. However, whenever leaving you will be subject to inspection by MBI personnel before being allowed to pass." "I see..." Naruto look turned calculating as his mind, powered and filled with the knowledge of thousands of years tried to discover the man's angle. "This is the next stage. He plans on imprisoning all of the Sekirei here, to keep them locked up so even if they object to his Sekirei Plan, they have no choice but to participate." Miya had to admit, Naruto was good, very good. Despite not knowing what the man had planned, he had easily deduced what was happening within seconds. It was becoming more and more clear to her. Naruto was not just a warrior, he had been a leader. It also brought her to a possible theory on the terrible truth behind his past. But she would need to confirm it with him, and it needed to be he who made the first move. Naruto's cellphone began to ring, causing the blond's attention to snap. He pulled out his cellphone and touched the screen. "Hello?" "Naruto, it's me." "Matsu-chan?" Her taking off the '-tan' suffix threw him for a loop. "Did you see it?" "You mean the citywide message about MBI blocking off all exits for Sekireis?" The blond asked rhetorically. "Then yes." "I'm afraid it's slightly worse then that," Matsu said. "The city is surrounded by rivers, and MBI's army has been deployed to blockade all of the bridges that lead out of here." Her words were about what he had expected. Naruto was beginning to get a much clearer picture of what Minaka was hoping to achieve. And the more he learned the more he hated the man. In his life, Naruto had only ever wanted to kill one person, just one. Kabuto. Not Madara, not Sasuke, not even Orochimaru, sick as that man was, had earned his undying hatred. While he had disliked those people, and been more then willing to take up arms against them for the sake of his precious people. It was Kabuto who had earned his true hatred, for summoning the many people that Naruto had respected and admired, for refusing to let the dead rest peacefully, for forcing Nagato to fight him, for summoning the former Jinchurikki from their graves and allowing them to be desecrated by Madara. For killing so many of his friends. The man had been the sole bearer of Naruto's hatred, and the one person that Naruto had killed not out of necessity, though everyone would have agreed that the man had to die. His true reason for killing that man had been out of hatred, revenge. Naruto could still remember their fight so vividly. After having so many of his resurrected warriors defeated, Kabuto had hidden in the shadows, and had left the corpse of Anko in his wake. He had then killed several other people Naruto had been close to, always striking when they were at their weakest and making it a point to leave evidence of who had done it. Naruto hatred for the man had known no bounds. After Kabuto had managed to kill Shikamaru, greatly weakening his sides ability to create effective strategies against Tobi and his army, Naruto had decided enough was enough. He had gone out, on his own, against orders and searched the man out. It was clear that Kabuto had been hoping for a confrontation. The man had been quite arrogant in his desire to fight the blond. It had been his belief that because Orochimaru had only been able to tie with Naruto when he was using four-tails worth of Kyuubi's chakra, beating the Uzumaki when he had full control would prove he had surpassed his former master. He had been so confident in his victory, so assured that he could win. It had been his last mistake. Kabuto had not taken into account the fact that by that point in time, Naruto had not only gained full control of Kyuubi's chakra, but that he and Kyuubi had formed a pact. Naruto had earned Kyuubi's respect, trust and friendship, even if the fur ball had said otherwise. Against the blond's determination and use powerful use of ninjutsu, and the Kyuubi's limitless chakra and ability to manipulate it from inside of Naruto, the man had not stood a chance. The scolding he got for going off on his own had been so worth it. He had enjoyed every second of listening to that mans screams of pain as he was burned from the inside out after Naruto had cut him open and destroyed each of his organs one at a time by overloading them with Kurama's chakra. Hiroto Minaka was getting close to earning the level of hatred Naruto had for Kabuto. It wouldn't be long now, once the man made his move and Naruto had a clear picture of what was going on, he would begin his own phase. And then, Minaka Hiroto and MBI would fall. "I see, so Minaka is preparing this city to serve as a battle ground." "That's right. We're going to need to prepare." "I realized as much," Naruto looked over at Miya, who he noticed was waiting for him to finish. "We'll about this some more once I'm home. I'll see you then... bye." "I take it everyone else saw?" Miya said as Naruto pocketed his phone. "Yep," Naruto's voice was flat. Dead. It showed just how much his control was slipping, that he had to revert to his shinobi tone. Back during the Fourth Shinobi War many of the people who served under him had called it his Itachi voice, many claiming that dead people had more emotion in their voice then he did. They were silent the rest of the way home. At least, until they ran into trouble. Rounding the corner the two were forced to stop as a figure appeared in front of them. "Well, well, that's a cozy little place you've got there. Mason Izumo, huh?" Karasuba walked up to the pair. She must have seen Miya's glare because she continued saying, "don't worry I didn't take anything, at least not yet." Her eyes landed on Naruto and she gave him a smile. It was a cold smile that Naruto could tell was completely fake. "And this must be Musubi's Ashikabi, the famed 'Miracle Worker'. Your pretty famous, you know?" Naruto smiled but there was none of the usual warmth to it. "So I am, I even had quite a few fans until recently. I wonder where they all went..." Karasuba laughed, and would have replied with her own snappy comeback, but Miya interrupted her. "This time I'll let you off with a warning," the purple-haired beauty said with a glare that was deadly serious. It was one Naruto had yet to see. "But the next time you set foot in my home, I won't be nearly as forgiving." Karasuba smiled as she eyed the woman who glared right back. Neither of them noticed Naruto as he hung back. He and the rest of their surrounding had disappeared from their vision. "Heh, you haven't changed a bit. You're still as scary as always I see. But tell me, are you as fast." It happened just as they were passing each other. Both of them spun, turning on the balls of their feet with lethal grace and speeds that few Sekirei could hope to follow much less match. Both of them got in a ready stance, Karasuba was crouched down with her hands near her waist, and Miya was in her own specialized position. Karasuba smirked. "I guess so, to bad I didn't bring my sword today because the weapon your holding would have been no match for it." She gestured to the radish the woman was holding in her hand. "Get out of here!" Miya said, and for the first time since meeting her Naruto heard real rage in the woman's voice. She pointed the radish at Karasuba, a fierce snarl on her face. "Your repulsive visage is too much for me to stomach anymore!" Karasuba smiled, bending down to pick up the apple that had been dropped from Miya's basket, the one thing she had not forced Naruto to carry. Probable because he had tried to eat one of her apples before they could even pay for it. "It's just like I said." Karasuba looked at the apple in her hand idly before polishing it off on her sleeve. "You haven't changed a bit, number one. Scary." She turned around, a smirk on her face as she looked over her shoulder. "Let's meet again. But next time bring a sword, because I'll bring mine." She went to take a bite of the apple in her hand. A stiff breeze blew past her. She bit down on nothing, her teeth clacked together harshly. Blinking several times, Karasuba looked at her now empty hand which had previously been holding an apple. Her eyes narrowed. What had just happened? Had Miya grabbed it from her somehow? No, Miya wasn't that fast. Karasuba would have seen her if she had made a grab for it, and she was still standing in the same place as previously. Not to mention she looked just as surprised as Karasuba herself. Then who – "You know it's not very nice to eat food without paying for it." – Turning her head Karasuba felt her eyes widening as she stared at the blond man that she had more or less forgotten about during her little dance with Miya. He was crouched down on the fence, one hand placed lightly upon the wood he was balanced on, the other hand holding an apple. He took a bite and moaned appreciatively. "But I do have to thank you for this. Miya-chan wouldn't let me eat one and I've been starving." 'What the hell just happened?' Karasuba narrowed her eyes as she stared at the man, watching as he jumped off the fence and landed next to Miya.'There was no way he could have been grabbed that apple from me without my notice! He's just a human!' Unfortunately for her she had no other explanation about what had happened. Not only was he the only other person on their block, he was also holding onto the apple. 'It looks like there is more to these rumors about Uzumaki Naruto then I might have realized.' She wished she had been able to pull up all of the information on him, but it was most unfortunately blocked from everyone except Minaka, and that man liked the play his games too much to be bullied into letting her see the files. "How intriguing," she said with a smile, the same one they had seen her wearing since they met. "You are a most interesting person, Uzumaki Naruto. It looks like you're someone I'll need to keep my eyes on in the future." "Be my guest," Naruto said with a shrug. "Just don't expect me to start dating you just because your stalking me. I only date nice girls." Grinning the blond put an arm around Miya and pulled the stunned woman to him. "Like Miya-chan here." Karasuba worked her mouth for a few seconds before she laughed, loudly. Her peels of shrieking laughter – which caused several pigeons to die just from hearing the evil sounds – lasted for several seconds before she sighed. "Yes, you definitely bear further observation." As the dark clothed woman began to walk off, Miya turned to Naruto with an unfathomable look. "Naruto-san?" Said blond gave Miya a smile. "Yes?" "Thank you." "Your welcome – oof!" "However, despite me being grateful to you, I suggest you don't touch me again," she said, her elbow still extended from where she had hit him in the gut. "Y-Yes ma'am." "Thank you. Oh, and Naruto-san?" "Y-Yes?" "Give me that apple." "Urk." XoX War. It had been a long time since Naruto had participated in a war. He had seen it of course, over the course of his long life he had seen plenty of wars. He had seen wars of religion, wars of subjugation, wars of greed, wars of hatred, wars of genocide, everyone reason that humans could come up with to start a war, he had been there to see the results. It made him sick. Humans, they truly were a despicable race. They were always so eager to go to war, always claiming it was for some higher purpose, the calling of god or some such bull shit. Ha! Humans never needed a reason to go to war. It was instinct. They had been fighting so long most didn't even know what they were fighting for. It didn't matter how much they tried to pretty it up, they could wrap it in a bow and serve it to the people claiming this is right, this is noble, our cause is just for all cared. It was still the same load of horse shit to him. The normal people, the citizens who couldn't think for themselves would eat the garbage spewed from their leaders mouth without a thought. Like the sycophantic fools they were. Like mindless sheep. Naruto had dissociated himself from humanity a long time ago. He lived among them, humans, but he had cast his humanity aside when he realized what he was, and what he could never be. Human. He wasn't sure if he could truly call himself that anymore. Not with how long he had lived. He was no longer even sure when he would die, or if he could die. Could someone who might very well live forever, until Armageddon came and the world was reduced to ash, truly be considered human? Even were it not for that Naruto would have alienated himself from humans long ago. He had grown disillusioned about them. There was an old saying he remembered once, 'humans are incredible beings, capable of being the most compassionate of beings, of committing selfless acts for no other reason then it was the right thing to do. Humanity on the other hand, was stupid. They followed the crowd, doing what everyone else was doing no matter how wrong, simply because everyone else was doing it.' As unfortunate as it was, most of the time humans and humanity went hand in hand. Naruto sat quietly, seated under the tree with his legs stretched out in front of him. He sat, and he thought. 'What to do now...' Naruto was at a cross roads. He could feel it in his soul, a tremor of instincts that had long served him well. His decision now and in the coming days would be crucial. The choices he made would change everything, like a shock wave spreading through the city every choice he made would have consequences that would affect Shinto Teito, quite possibly the world. To go to war. To prepare for the inevitable battles and take the lead in war, which he had long since tried to avoid. Whatever decision he made would affect more then just him, whether he chose to participate in the coming days or take a back seat, things would be different. As much as Naruto tried to remain himself, as much as he wanted to do certain things, as much as he was beginning to hate Minaka and his desire to bring the man down continued burning brighter and brighter each day, some things never truly changed. And Naruto's utter loathing of war was one of them. 'To go to war... is it truly worth it? What is there for me to fight for?' It was the question he had long since asked himself and found no answer. The reason he had never participated in another war since the Fourth Great Shinobi War. He had nothing to fight for. He was alone. "Naruto-Sama!" Looking up the blond saw Musubi walking over to him. She smiled as she stopped in front of him. "I was wondering where you went off to. You left so suddenly after dinner that we had wondered if something was wrong." "Sorry to worry you." Naruto gave the girl a smile, even if he didn't really feel like smiling. Musubi returned his smile with one that was much more real then his own. "Ku-chan's sleeping." "I see. What about the others? Where's Akitsu-chan, Tsuikimi-chan? Do you know where they are?" "Uh uh," Musubi shook her head. "I think there with Miya, but I don't know where she is either." Naruto was silent. Musubi continued. "Uzume's gone to, she said she had something she needed to do today." A few seconds after her words she gasped in surprise. "Something wrong Musubi-chan?" "I just realized, we're all alone right now, aren't we?" Naruto blinked, before a smile worked it's way to his face. "I guess we are." "Then this is the best time." Naruto blinked, his head tilting slightly to the left with an expression of confusion and curiosity. "Naruto-Sama, there is something that I have to tell you and only you, ok? It's about a promise that I made with Karasuba." "Karasuba..." Naruto tested the name on his tongue. "That's the girl in the black leather uniform right?" "Ah! Do you know her?" Musubi looked surprised, causing Naruto to chuckle. "Know her? Not really." He paused, looking for the right words before a rueful smile crossed his lips. "In fact, we only just met half an hour before dinner." Musubi blinked, and it was clear to Naruto that she was curious about his meeting with her friend. Shrugging the thought off for now, she continued. "She's a Sekirei just like me. She and I made a promise when I was first released." "A promise huh?" Naruto tuned more of her words in, interested in knowing what this promise was. "We promised that we would get through this game, that we would fight until we were the last Sekireis standing." Musubi closed her eyes, remembering when she and Karasuba had made that promise to each other. "We promised that when we were the last Sekireis standing we would fight, to prove which one of us was right." "Right about what?" asked Naruto. He was actually getting fairly enraptured by her story. "Karasuba thinks humans are an unnecessary species." Naruto had to admit, this Karasuba chick might be a bitch and bat shit crazy, but she had obviously thought about the same thing he had many times. "I think she's wrong." Naruto blinked. Opening her eyes, Musubi looked at Naruto's and once again, the blond was taken aback by the purity of her soul that he could see shining through her eyes. It was rare to see someone who was so pure... untainted by the evils that had lain waste to the lands. He would say they had the innocence of a child, but even children in this day and age lost what little innocence they had early on in life. Seeing those eyes told Naruto of just how unique Musubi really was. More then anything else, he wanted to protect that innocence. He did not want Musubi to view the world with his jaded eyes. "Naruto-Sama is a human and my Ashikabi. You are everything I've ever dreamed my Ashikabi would be and more. You are kinds, and warm, and caring, and strong. You never put yourself before us, your Sekireis, and you do just as much to protect us as we do you. I love you Naruto-Sama, and I am going to prove to her that my belief is right." If he had not respected Musubi before then he sure as hell did now. She may be naïve, a ditz and a complete airhead, but damn if she couldn't say some of the most meaningful comments. She reminded him of himself, so long ago. "But that's not all," she continued, placing a hand on her chest. "I plan to free all of the defeated Sekireis. Because being separated from their Ashikabis is just too cruel." Yeah, she was definitely like he was back then. "Oh Naruto-Sama, I just have so much love for you!" In spite of having already heard it, Naruto was surprised by the conviction in her voice. He was even more surprised when she grabbed one of his hands and placed it on her left breast. "Do you feel that?" she asked, her eyes almost searing their way into his soul. For whatever reason, Naruto found himself frozen, unable to peel his gaze away from her. All he could do was watch as Musubi spoke. "My hearts beating so fast, isn't it? Do you know why? It's because of all the love that I feel here. I'm grateful, not just for this bright house, but for all of you here. For Miya-san, and Ku-chan, Matsu, Tsuikimi, Akitsu-chan, and of course you, Naruto-Sama. This feeling that I have, this overwhelming love I feel for all of the wonderful people I'm blessed to have in my life. I want Karasuba to feel it too." If Naruto were not already surprised, he was sure he would have died from shock at that statement. "She doesn't know just how wonderful this feeling is. I just want her to open her heart to it." Musubi gave a closed eyed smile as she laughed lightly. "I know it's going to be hard to do, and maybe it's going to be impossible but I..." "No," Naruto said, shaking his head and making Musubi look at him. He smiled. "It's not impossible, I know you can do it." Naruto brought both hands up, cupping her face. He pulled her down until their lips were mere millimeters apart. "I believe in you." He pulled her down the rest of the way. 'To go to war... is it truly worth it?' As Naruto sat there, sitting under the tree in the backyard of Maison Izumo, Musubi straddling his lap, wings flaring out behind her back as they shared in a passnionate kiss. Naruto knew that he had his answer. 'Yes, yes it is.' XoX Tsukuimi's brow was furrowed as she stood on top of the building, arms crossed under her breasts, one leg slightly in front of the other. A perfect picture of poise and elegance. She watched as helicopters flew across the sky. From here, she could even see the closest bridge, which she knew at this moment was where MBI would be deploying their troops. "Thou art must be kidding." "You shouldn't be surprised." Tsukuimi's eyes widened as she turned around to see her arch rival standing before her. "You!" she accused, glaring at the man, though it lacked the heat that it used to possess. "Turning this place into a battlefield for Sekireis has always been apart of Minaka's plan," Homura said as he looked out across the city. "Hmph!" Tsukuimi huffed as she turned away from the man. "I make it a habit not to fight convalescence." Homura shook his head. "I hate to disappoint you but I didn't come here to fight." "Then leave now!" "Since the Sekirei Plan has progressed to phase two, then that means that ninety percent of the Sekireis have been winged." Tsukuimi stiffened. 'Was my decision to be winged by Naruto what caused this?' The thought sent chills down her spine. Had she made a mistake when she agreed to be Naruto's wife? Was more bloodshed to be spilled to entertain that man because of her? "Something wrong?" Tsukuimi quickly broke her train of thought. "No!" she snapped quickly, a little too quickly. Trying to recover she began to walk off. "Besides, it's none of thy business! If thou has no intention of doing battle, then keep thyself away from me!" Walking to the lip of the building they were on Tsukuimi was quick to jump off. Homura watched her disappear before sighing. "That will be kind of hard to do since we live in the same house." He looked away from the spot Tsukuimi had just vacated and narrowed his eyes. "MBI is beginning to crack down. If any Ashikabis and Sekireis try to escape they'll be as good as dead." XoX "What is this!" Tsukuimi had several tic marks on her head as she looked down at her new... attire. Puffy blue sleeves, frilly lace, short skirt and a bonnet. How she had been convinced to change into this... this mockery of clothing was beyond her. Not really understanding the tone in her voice, Musubi gave the blond woman a closed eyed smile. "Uzume said it was a French Maid outfit." Rather then getting gratitude for answering the other woman's rhetorical question, Musubi was shaken back and forth by Tsukuimi as the water-type Sekirei grabbed her by her lining of her clothes. "I knowest what it's called, simpleton! And that is not what I meant by my question to the! I want to know why I have to be dressed in such attire!" Musubi, X marks replacing her eyes due to how dizzy she was getting answered as best she could while being shaken in Tsuikimi's grip. "Because you don't want to get your nice frilly dress all dirty when you and I go shopping at the market!" "Shopping?" Tsukuimi stopped. For all of one seconds, then she got back to shaking with even more vigor. "Why must I partake in such a menial chore!" By the time she was finished venting her rage, poor Musubi was practically limp in her grip, swirl patterns in the brunette's eyes. It was then she and Naruto, who had been watching on the sidelines with an amused smirk on his face, noticed the other person entering the room. "Miya?" Tsukuimi questioned as she saw the woman standing there with a basket in each hand. "Here you go." She held said baskets out to them with a dazzling smile on her face. "You girls have fun!" In her anger Tsukuimi let go of Musubi, who would have fallen to the floor if Naruto had not used his speed to catch the girl and scoop her up into his arms. Of course, this just added more fool to Tsukuimi's fire as she activated her Tsundere protocals. "You!" She pointed an accusing finger at Naruto, a swirly eyed Musubi in his arms. "How dare you touch her when your wife is standing right in front of you!" Naruto blinked but before he could say anything Tsukuimi had rounded on Miya. "And why is it that I have to go shopping!" That was definitely the wrong thing to say. Miya held up a single finger, the beautiful smile never leaving her face as purple energy began leaking out of her body like a broken sieve. "Because those who do not work, do not eat." She closed her eyes, tilted her head, and a hanya mask appeared to her left. "Got it?" Tsukuimi jumped back, her instincts screaming at her to get as far away from this woman as possible. "Y-Yes!" Miya looked at the group, Tsukuimi looked like she was about to faint, and Musubi had some of her spirit floating out of her mouth. Naruto and Kusano just looked confused. She decided to add some extra incentive. "Whoever gets back first will get to sit next to Naruto at the table for dinner tonight." That seemed to be just the thing the pair needed to hear. Musubi's spirit went back into her body and she leapt out of Naruto's arms. While Tsukuimi looked like she was ready for battle. The two glared at each other and Naruto was almost sure he could see lightning bolts shooting from their eyes. Which was weird because he totally thought the bondage babes were the lightning types. Less then a second later both Musubi and Tsukuimi were out the door and racing down the streets in an all out battle with a winner-takes-all-gets-to-sit-next-to-Naruto prize. Naruto watched as the cloud of dust where Musubi and Tsukuimi had been began to settle. Then he looked at Miya and smirked. "Cruel Miya-chan, you are very cruel. Playing on their desires like that." Miya just did what she did best. Gave a cute giggle, smiled and looked pretty.Another chapter complete. This will be the last one I post for a while. I only finished it because I was practically done with this chapter a few days ago and just decided to get it done. From now on, I will be focusing the majority of my attention on my Harry Potter story.
Another reason I've posted this chapter, is because I am in need of a Beta reader willing to Beta the chapters of Harry Potter's Rise to Power that I have already completed. I am looking for someone who is at least competent in English up to a college level. If you are interested, PM me so we can discuss what I am looking for in a Beta reader. A/N: I HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE! Recently, I have begun expanding my reading repertoire by searching for Harry Potter/Crossover stories, and I happened upon an amazing story that I feel deserves to be read. This story, ironically enough is a Harry Potter/Sekirei crossover, the very first of it's kind. Even though a lot of people read my stories are Naruto fans - obviously - I believe all of you would enjoy this one as well, and recommend that you read it. It's called The Wizard Ashikabi, and is written by plums. It's his first ever story - at least his first story ever posted - and is very well written. So, let's all give his story some love. Thank you and have a great day... or night. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
