Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
A/N: Oh my gosh! To anyone who is still with me on
this story: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Life has thrown a lot of stuff my way, including flooding first in my
town and now in my dad’s town. I also
have been working to get my children into speech therapy, and there’s been
blizzards, and school. Plus, my muse
just insisted I work on my originals. I
will be trapped in a medical study for an extended period in June, so if I don’t
get to an update before then, I will definitely write a few chapters then. I love you all and thank you again if you are
still reading this!
Review Responses:

Ero Sennin: I’ve already told you everything you are to
me. If I were a lesbo, I’d totally be
yours forever.
Vee: I’m so so so sorry this is so late. I hope it is still something you want to

Chapter Nine
Madara smirked as he looked over the paperwork in front of
him. The Hyuugas were by no means in
trouble, but they certainly weren’t doing as well as they had been in the
past. There were opportunities to
exploit now though. He called for
Kisame.
“Yeah, Boss?” Kisame smirked as he stood across from his
boss.
Madara shook his head.
There really was no better personal guard in the world. He’d seen to it personally. “I need to plant someone in the Hyuuga
Corporation to get some insider information.
Can you make any suggestions? It
needs to someone that can’t be easily traced back to me.”
Kisame smiled. “I do
know someone, but he’s a bit unstable.
I’m not sure he’d be good at following instructions in a mainstream
corporation, but he is good at
getting information.”
Madara frowned thoughtfully.
“Arrange a meeting, but start thinking about someone I can trust to send
in if this person doesn’t meet my requirements.”
Kisame nodded. “He’s
good. I’ve worked with him before, but
I’ll do what I can for you.” He left the
room and Madara sat back in his chair.
Things were working out perfectly.
************
Itachi frowned. He
ran his hands through Naruto’s hair as his boyfriend slept on his chest. Kakashi would be back soon and they would
start on their plan to take down Madara.
It was ridiculous that one man could so badly affect his entire
life. His uncle was really beginning to
piss him off.
Naruto shifted in his sleep and nuzzled against Itachi’s
chest. He smiled as he smelled his
boyfriend and remembered that Itachi had been moved in. “’Tachi.”
Itachi smiled and hugged Naruto closer. “How are you feeling today?”
Naruto pushed up and moved to Itachi’s lap. “Way better.
Anko is a miracle worker.” He
sighed and kissed Itachi’s neck. “I
remember being told you were moving in, but I don’t remember why.”
Itachi chuckled before moaning as Naruto started sucking on
his neck. “I don’t remember while you’re
kissing me like that.” He wrapped his
hands in Naruto’s hair and held Naruto’s face in place. “Oh god!”
Naruto giggled, but licked up Itachi’s neck towards his
ear. “Maybe we can talk later.” He slid his cloth covered erection against
Itachi’s.
Itachi groaned but pushed Naruto away softly. “Kakashi will be back soon and we have big
things to discuss. Can we do this
after? I really want you, baby.”
Naruto nodded.
“What’s going on, ‘Tachi? No one
talks to me. I know I’m naïve and
everyone wants to protect me, but I hate being left out.”
Itachi ran his hand over Naruto’s hair. “You won’t be left out this time. Unfortunately, I think you are going to have
to be involved much more than I want you to be.”
Naruto bit his bottom lip.
“This is bad, isn’t it, ‘Tachi?
This has something to do with your uncle and Sas and your cousin.”
Itachi nodded. “Let’s
go wait for Kakashi, all right?” When
Naruto nodded, Itachi pulled himself from the bed before holding a hand out to
Naruto.
Naruto followed Itachi to Kakashi’s study. “Dad never uses his study unless it’s
important. I want to know what’s going
on, but I’m scared.” He curled up on
Itachi’s lap when Itachi opened his arms to Naruto. “‘Tachi, is it really bad?”
The door opened just then as Kakashi walked in followed by
two rather unique people. Itachi quirked
a bow, but realized Naruto knew them as soon as Naruto leapt off his lap threw
his arms around the neck of the older one.
“It’s been so long since you’ve come visit!”
The stranger shook his head.
“Not so long, my youthful friend.
It has simply been a while since you’ve been in attendance as well.”
Naruto smiled when he heard Itachi snort behind him. He moved back to his boyfriend. “‘Tachi, this is my dad’s friend Gai and his
protégé Lee.”
Itachi held his hand out to shake both men’s hands. He leaned over and whispered in Naruto’s ear,
“They aren’t father and son?”
Naruto laughed and shook his head. “No, the haircut and eyebrows are pure
coincidence. The outfits however are
choice.”
Itachi looked over the green turtlenecks and slacks. There was no denying the absurdity of the
outfits. Each man had on black loafers
and white sweat bands on their wrists.
It shouldn’t be legal to be able to purchase that many green items
together. Considering the sashes and headbands
they were wearing, they could have been Ninja Turtles. He shook his head and kissed Naruto lightly
on the cheek before intertwining their fingers.
“Kakashi, this is a serious problem and we need to address it at once.”
Kakashi nodded. “I
couldn’t agree more Itachi. I know you
don’t want to get yourself involved in the life he wants you involved in, but I
believe that is going to be the only way to take him down.”
Naruto pouted. “No
fair. Stop and tell me everything. I don’t know what or who you are talking
about.”
Itachi sighed and proceeded to catch Naruto up with recent
events. By the time he had finished
Naruto was shaking with anger. “I can’t
believe he would do that! How does
anyone do that to their own flesh and blood?”
Itachi shrugged, but Kakashi took over speaking. “You’ll have to go with it, Itachi. You’re going to have to make up a convincing
story about your fear for Sasuke and Naruto.
I’ve thought about it, and I won’t send you without protection for
yourself. That’s where Gai and Lee come
in. I can’t imagine it hard for Madara
to believe that you didn’t want to deal and only will do so with hired help of
your choosing.”
Itachi nodded. “The
problem lies in the fact that he wants Naruto, too. How can I justify keeping Naruto away?”
Kakashi shook his head.
“Iruka promised me I’d be sleeping on the couch for this one for at
least a week, but I think you have to bring him with you.”
Itachi sighed. “I was
afraid of that.”
Naruto squeezed Itachi’s hand. “I have faith in Gai and Lee, and I know you
won’t let any harm come to me. If it
helps bring your uncle down, I’ll act as a stripper. I don’t care as long as I can help protect
you and Sasuke.”
*****
Madara gazed coolly at the man across from him. “Deidara, was it? I need someone in an office building. I need someone who can listen to instructions
and be every bit a part of their team while reporting back to me everything that could be considered a
flaw. Can you do that?”
The good looking blonde smiled before sitting up a bit in
the chair. “I can. I get paid by the week. If I think my job is worth more than you are
paying, I won’t hesitate to ask for more.
If I’m not given what I ask for, I walk.
I won’t talk, but I walk.”
Deidara bit on the end of the pen he was holding. “I’m thinking since I know who I’d be
infiltrating as well as their security measures, $5,000 a week isn’t
unreasonable.”
Madara sniffed indifferently. “I only told you who because I needed to know
that you had the expertise to break high level security. However, I consider $5,000 a workable price. I need information on the company, but
specifically Neji and Hinata Hyuuga.”
Deidara nodded. “Neji
and Hinata, got it.” He smirked and
stood, holding out a hand to Madara. “I
look forward to this arrangement. Give
Kisame the specifics when you’ve got them figured out, and I’ll be happy to
begin this assignment.”
Madara leaned back in his chair. Things were going beautifully. Now if only he could work on getting Itachi
back into his trust. He picked up his
phone and dialed his nephew’s number.
Once Itachi answered, Madara pounced.
“Itachi, please don’t hang up. I
only wanted to call and tell you how sorry I am for my behavior.”
He heard Itachi’s sigh.
“You’re not sorry. You want me to
work for you and feel like manipulating my emotions until I agree.” Itachi sighed.
“Fine, uncle. I will come meet
with you, but I am bringing my own hired help.
If I agree, you must agree never to harm Sasuke or Naruto again. You will also make sure Sai understands and
follows these rules. If you agree, you
can call me again. Right now I am with
Naruto and I’d appreciate not being bothered.”
Madara smiled. “Of
course, Itachi.” He hung up the phone. “Kisame, bring me Temari.”
Temari sighed as she entered Madara’s office. “Yes, sir?”
Madara smirked. “When
Sakura and Ino get here, send them straight to my office. Additionally, when Itachi gets here, it will
be up to you to find a way to empty the club of anyone but the people with
him. I’m making a deal, and I don’t need
business. Make the excuse something that
will draw people back tomorrow with interest.”
She nodded. “Of
course, sir. Will there be anything
else?”
Madara smirked again and unzipped his fly. “Since you’re offering, I haven’t gotten
pleasure from you in nearly two weeks. I
think you’re far overdue.”
**************************
Deidara looked around the office lobby and smirked. The Hyuugas would be the ultimate test of his
skill. If he could gain access to their
information system, he could pick his jobs and charge anything he wanted. No one to date had been able to defeat the
network. He pulled at his tie a bit
before heading to the receptionist.
“Hello, I’m Yami Nasaro. I’m
supposed to be starting work here today.”
The receptionist looked over the top of her horn-rimmed
glasses. “One moment.” She typed the information into her computer
quickly before scanning the information that came back to her. She picked up her phone, for the most part
ignoring Deidara. “Mr. Hyuuga, Mr.
Nasaro is here.” She hung up the phone
and nodded to Diedara. “Third elevator
on the left side of the hall, 23rd floor, Mr. Hiashi Hyuuga’s office
is the fourth door on the right.” She
handed him a stack of papers she had been given that morning. “Take these with you, don’t lose them.”
Deidara smiled as he took the papers from the
receptionist. “Thank you.” He made his way to the indicated
elevators. After arriving at Hiashi’s
office, he was made to wait for almost an hour before the inner doors opened
and he saw a beautiful man with long chocolate hair and eyes that were
unnaturally pale and nearly pupil-less.
“Mr. Hyuuga, it’s a pleasure.”
Hiashi smiled at his new blonde assistant. “Please sit, Mr. Nasaro.” He gestured to the chair across from
him. “I am so pleased you’ve taken this
position. I’m afraid my current
assistant is a frightful mess. She means
well but does not have the organizational capacity I believed at first
glance. I won’t fire her as I know her
father well, but I do need someone who can actually take care of schedule.”
Deidara smiled. “I am
honored you’ve hired me, Mr. Hyuuga. I
look forward to getting to you know you and the job better.” He smirked.
“And please, call me Yami. I
really do not like my last name, and someday I might tell you the reason why.”
Hiashi’s soft chuckle surprised Deidara. “Of course, Yami. I hope you will excuse me for not extending
the same privilege.” He paused and stood
up. “Would you like to see your work
area?”
Deidara nodded. He
followed Hiashi through a thorough tour of Hiashi’s offices. Afterward they began an office tour. Toward the end of the tour Hiashi led them
back toward more offices. He stopped
outside of one office and knocked. “Are
you busy?”
“Not for you, uncle,” a voice called from inside.
Hiashi opened the door with a true smile. “Neji, this is my new assistant Yami
Nasaro. He has requested we call him
Yami and I see no reason not to honor the request.”
Neji nodded. “Nice to
meet you, Yami. I’m sure I will get to
know you much better than my uncle’s current assistant. I’m afraid I can’t stand to talk to the woman
for more than a few moments at best.”
Deidara nodded. “I
look forward to getting to know you better as well. I do hope you can stomach me for than a few
minutes at a time.”
Hiashi nodded. “We’re
off to see Hinata and then I think I will set Yami up with some work. Do you have anything you need looked after?”
Neji shook his head.
“No, Uncle. Thank you. I am actually nearly finished and then I’m
headed off to Naruto’s. He’s been having
some problems with Itachi’s uncle, and he’s asked me to come sit with him so he
won’t be alone.”
Hiashi nodded and smiled.
“You take care of that boy.
Itachi is a good man, but his uncle is more than dangerous enough to
harm them both. If you need any extended
time off, please just let me know.”
Hiashi waved Deidara through to the office across the
hall. He smiled softly at his
daughter. He really hoped the woman’s
fiancé would finally come to his senses and set a date. “Hianta-chan, I’d like you to meet my new
assistant Yami Nasaro. He prefers simply
Yami. I’d like to grant that request.”
Hinata blushed. “Yes,
Uncle,” she answered softly. She smiled
bashfully. “A pleasure to meet you,
Yami.”
Deidara took her outstretched hand and placed a gentle kiss
on it. “No, the pleasure is all
mine.” He smiled sweetly. “That’s a beautiful ring you are
sporting. Your fiancé is certainly the
luckiest man on the planet.”
Hinata giggled quietly.
“Thank you for saying so.” She
nodded to her father. “He is already a
vast improvement over your other assistant.
I wish you could fire her, father.
I really do not like listening to the woman ramble on and on about her
wedding. I do not want her American
wedding.” She sighed. “I apologize for my whining. It was out of place.”
Hiashi put his hands on her shoulders. “It is true that it is out of place, but it
is not inappropriate. She should learn
when she has overstepped her bounds. I
have the feeling that Yami will not be a problem in that regard.” He sighed.
“Have you spoken with Naruto recently?”
Hinata’s face fell to a frown. “Yes, uncle.
You know very well what Naruto means to me.”
Hiashi smirked. “Yes, I do.
If he had not been gay he may well have been my son-in-law by now. Providing you found a way to talk to him, of
course.” He winked at his daughter
before growing serious again. “Neji is
going over soon. If he doesn’t mind, you
have my permission to take time off and see Naruto. Please let him know I’m thinking of him.”
She nodded. “Thank
you, father. I’ll be sure to tell Naruto
your message.”
Hiashi smiled again before turning to Deidara. “What do you say we get to work?”
Deidara nodded. “I’d
like that very much sir.” He made note
of the fact that the Hyuugas seemed well versed with Madara for examination at
a later time. “I am yours to command,
ask what you will of me.”
Hiashi shook his head when Deidara smirked. “You will have heard things about me. Some of them are true and some of them are
not. The only one I care to reveal at this
time is something you may have realized already. I am not a heartless bastard. I have gained the reputation by being brutal
and thorough when a rival is going under and available for the taking. The only reason my own business has been
suffering of late is my idiot for an assistant.
I expect you to help me take the company back out of the muck. If you can do so, I will reward you greatly.”
Deidara smiled. “A
paycheck is a good enough reward for my work.
After all, why be paid if I am not competent?”
Hiashi smiled and nodded.
“Charlene is in the back supposedly organizing my files. If you would be so kind as to set her to the
new task of making me some coffee, I’d like you to actually sort my files for
me. If you can’t figure out my filing
system or that little witch has ruined it so bad it no longer is a system,
please don’t hesitate to ask me for some guidance.”
Deidara turned toward his task. This was going to be easier than he thought
if Hiashi Hyuuga was going to give him unrestricted access to his files. He thought he’d have to be sneaking around a
mailroom clerk or something. Instead he
was having first hand access to the paperwork.
He smirked thinking about Hinata.
She was a beautiful girl. He
wouldn’t mind her as a reward for a job well done. How could Madara’s little fuck toy even
consider not going through the wedding for a notorious playboy?
********************
Itachi sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He couldn’t believe it had come to this, but
at least he had Lee and Gai to help him keep an eye on Naruto. None of them would wear a wire for a long
time, but when Madara relaxed just a bit the wires would be coming out. It was the only way to get the proof they
needed without getting Naruto, Sasuke, or Itachi in the crossfire.
Itachi held his hand out to Naruto. “Are you really okay with this, baby?”
Naruto shook his head.
“Not really, but I have to be don’t I?
We need to do what we need to do.”
He smirked. “We could make use of
your uncle’s private room again.”
Itachi blushed. “You
play your part well. Just don’t let my
uncle be alone with you, alright? I love
you and I don’t think I could bear knowing he took advantage of you.”
Naruto smiled and took Itachi’s hand as they approached the
club. “Of course, love.” Itachi and Naruto made their way through the
club which was suddenly emptying of its patrons. Naruto quirked a brow at Itachi who shrugged. “I have the feeling this is because of us,”
he whispered to Itachi.
Itachi chuckled. “Most likely.” Itachi sighed. “Naruto, there’s one more thing I didn’t tell
you but I feel like I need to say. You
cannot tell Hinata about this though, okay?”
Naruto nodded. He would never
betray Itachi’s confidence. “You may run
into Hinata’s fiancé, what was his name?”
“Haku,” Naruto said softly.
“He’s cheating on Hinata with your uncle?”
Itachi nodded. “I
think he’d leave her if Madara ever made him a serious offer at a
relationship. He told me there’s good to
Madara that others don’t see, but I can’t believe it.”
Naruto sighed. “Thank
you for telling me, Itachi. I’d likely
have lost my cool otherwise. As it is,
you may have to find a way to occupy me if he’s ever with your uncle in our
presence. I hate that no one is taking
care of Hinata in this situation. Why
can’t Haku just let her find someone else if he is so in love with Madara?”
Itachi shrugged.
“Madara has a way of drawing people in.
I would be worried for our safety if we didn’t have your father’s
friends.”
Naruto smiled at Gai and Lee who were walking behind
them. “They really are good guys. I think you’ll really like them the more you
get to know them. Don’t think they
aren’t eccentric, because they are. But,
they are also really good, faithful friends.”
Itachi smirked as Kisame stepped aside after opening the
door for them. He rolled his eyes when
he saw the two sluts from the first night he took Naruto to this place on their
hands and knees in front of Madara begging him to fuck them. Madara smirked and shrugged, tossing the girls
their clothes and some drugs. “Not
tonight, ladies. I have business to
attend to. Come tomorrow night. No cover charge. We’ll finish this up then.”
Sakura smiled and nodded.
“Ino and I will be here. We just
love you, Madara. Anything you want you
can have.”
Madara nodded. He
loved the two willing sluts, but he was starting to tire of the fact they threw
themselves at him. He liked Temari for
the challenge she represented. She never
did anything willingly like the two in front of him. She was always grudging at best. He waited until they had closed the door
before turning to the four men in front of his desk. “I’m glad you’ve seen reason, Itachi.”
Itachi shrugged.
“We’re here to lay ground rules if you want this thing to work between us. First, I will work for you and only I will
work for you. Second, Naruto is mine and
mine alone. He will not be gracing your
desk, bed, or anywhere else you fancy you can get your cock into my
boyfriend. Third, you will leave Sasuke
alone. You will never ask him to work
for you or harm him in any way.”
Madara nodded and indicated the men standing at the
door. “And might I ask about the two men
behind you?”
Itachi smirked.
“Certainly, though I don’t have to answer or feel inclined to do so at
the moment more than informing you that they work for me. They will always work for me. One will be around to guard Naruto at all
times.” He smiled as he pulled Naruto
closer to him. “I’ve asked Naruto to
move in with me. He will be doing so
when the school year is finished and he has graduated. I expect you to behave yourself if you want
this arrangement to work, Uncle. I will
not be using your product nor will any of my friends and their families.”
A hesitant knock sounded against the door. “Madara?” Haku asked. “I don’t mean to interrupt and Temari said
you were in a meeting, but I have something to talk to you about and it’s
important.”
Madara waved Itachi, Naruto, and the two mystery men
upstairs. “I’ll take care of this and
then call you back. I’ll think over your
words as well Itachi. We may be able to
work something out.” When the men were
safely upstairs, Madara opened his door.
“You’re a brave one, my little Haku.”
He pulled the smaller man to him and kissed his lips passionately. “What did you want to talk about?”
Haku smiled as he took Madara’s hand and sat down on the sofa. “I’ve spoken to my fiancé. I told her I wasn’t sure I’d be able to be
faithful to her because I’ve found a man who I am very attracted to. She’s known I was bisexual since we met, but
she doesn’t want me to stay with her if I would rather be with this other
man. We’re taking a break.”
Madara frowned a bit.
“I know this is what I wanted, but I thought you wanted more than I
could give you. Why would you give up
the sure thing in your fiancé for me?”
Haku shrugged. “I was
leading a life she knows nothing about.
When I saw Itachi and Naruto in the hospital the other day it hit
me. They know everything there is to
know about one another. Itachi has
shared every detail of his life with her, even the parts he’s uncomfortable
with. If I can’t even tell my fiancé
that I do drugs once in a while, how am I supposed to tell her I was cheating
on her?”
Madara smiled and pulled Haku onto his lap. “I can’t say that I’m not happy about this
turn of events, but if you want space for a while, I can try to stay
away.” He started sucking on Haku’s
neck.
Haku moaned softly.
“No, I want you.” He groaned as
Madara’s hand pressed against the bulge in his pants. “I don’t have a place to stay right now, so
I’m going to the Express Inn for the night.
I’ll let you know my more permanent plans later.”
Madara shook his head and cupped Haku’s cheek.
Staring at the man on his lap, Madara felt his heart clench in a way it
never had before. It was dangerous
falling in love, but he was sure that was this emotion. “Please, stay with me.”
Haku shook his head. “I love you more
than I ever realized, but I can’t stay with you and watch you come home
smelling of someone else. My heart would
break. If I just stay one of the masses,
I know my place.”
Madara frowned. “I
want to try for you, Haku.” He ran his
hands through the long, brown hair. It
was so much softer than he’d ever imagined hair could be. “I’ve never allowed myself to feel anything
but lust, but somehow I think you’ve wormed your way into my heart. You never just bow down to my beck and
call. You tell me what you think rather
than what you think I want to hear. And
I find you very attractive.” He kissed
Haku soundly. “I love you.”
Haku let a few tears fall.
“If you mean that, I would love to stay with you.” He nuzzled Madara’s neck. “I want to be with you.”
Madara smiled and wrapped his arms tightly around Haku’s
shoulders before standing up. He pulled
a key from his desk drawer. “Have the
limo pull around. I have a few minutes
worth of things to finish up here, but then Kisame and I will be out. That key opens the door to my house. It’s yours now. In a few minutes we will go to our house and
spend our first night as a real couple together.”
Haku smiled. “It
sounds perfect. I look forward to it,
Madara.”
Madara quickly accepted Itachi’s conditions and ushered the
men out of his club. For the first time
since he could remember, he was excited to be going home for the night. When he saw Haku curled up in the backseat of
the limo, he couldn’t help but think he was making the right choice.
