- Neji stood before Hisashi, his face as always was stern
and neutral, but his rage boiled within. He told his uncle
of the arrangement that Hinata and Sasuke had made, this
put Hisashi into a very good mood allowing him to smile
for the first time in a long while. This put Neji off
quite a bit, but what could he say? He bowed deeply to
his uncle and he made his way towards the door."Neji, come here.."
The long haired jounin stopped in his tracks and turned
to face his uncle again, "Hisashi-sama...""You are a strong member to our clan, Neji. I've never
seen so much honor brought to the Hyuga name."Surprise slapped Neji in the face and it showed clearer
than day. But deep down inside the jounin was worried
about his uncles compliments."You've become a strong and reliable nephew," Neji's
flesh turned to goosebumps, "You've taken more than better
care for Hinata," His heart began to race, "Perhaps
it is a good idea for you and I to arrange a show of thanks
for all of your hard work."* * * Her jade eyes watched the girl closely, watching every move
she made. She could tell there was a strange happiness about
the girl, it made her sick to her stomach. She drank some of
the tea she had ordered from the shop she sat quietly at.She had been doing this for a while, following the girl around
watching her. It had become much more interesting in the most
recent days, Hinata's behavior had changed completely. Before the
Hyuga used to wander around uncomfortably, always shy and with
a worried look upon her face.But it was as if Hinata seemed more confident, she held her
head up more and she smiled to herself alot. This confused
the pink haired kunoichi, what was it that made Hinata change
so much.Just then something happened that made Sakura's posture
straighten immediately. Hinata had gone into the gown maker's
shop...the gown maker...this meant only that the date had been
set for the wedding. Before she knew it Sakura broke the tea
cup she had been drinking from.She did not expect that to happen so soon...she wasn't sure
what she expected, but the date being set was not one of them.
She stood and left money for her tea and the broken cup as
she rushed out of the sweet shop.* * * Sasuke approached behind a woman quietly as she picked flowers.
She did not seem to notice him, but he knew with all her ninja
training that she could sense him. He extended his arm out to her
but before he could react the basket she held nearly hit his face.He blocked the basket and continued to side step the attacks that
rained upon him. His opponent's blonde hair flew about as she
ferverantly tried to strike him. Sasuke smirked at her attemps, she
had become very skilled over the years he had gone missing.He swung out his leg in a half assed attempt but she easily dodged
it by crouching, taking up the advantage she tried to take out his
other leg, but he swung his leg down onto her back and she fell
hard face first into the ground. He sat on her back and watched her
feeble tries to get up."Come now Ino, that wasn't very nice of you."
She struggled all the more to get him off of her but in no way
was she succeeding. Why had he come out here? Did he find out
about her and Neji's plans? She would not admit that she was
completely scared by the traitor nin.He leaned forward pushing her back down, "stop struggling
Ino, i just want to talk to you. I'm sure that you already
know about my and Hinata's date. I've come to talk to you
about possible flower arrangements."Ino's movements settled down."
Sasuke's lips were then suddenly very close to her ear,
"I also came to clarify the message that Neji gave to you."
