Author’s Note: My Trade fic for DigitalSiren. ^_^ I hope you all enjoy this, she requested something dark and evil and stuff, and me, being the sick bunny that I am, joyfully said “okay!” So here it is, enjoy, or don’t enjoy, either way, it’s what she wanted.
Warning: This fic contains a scene of Non-consensual activity. If this type of thing doesn’t sit well with you, don’t read it. Monkey.
For some reason the last half of this fic got deleated, I'm now fixing that. This was a one shot of a pairing I'm not all that fond of, there will be no more. It was a gift for the most awesome Emmy, whom I luff dearly.

Hyuuga Hinata leaned heavily back against the training post, her breath coming in short, burning bursts. If Kiba-kun had found out she had been out here pushing herself, trying to train in her condition, he’d blow up. He had a habit of doing that. Hinata knew he was just looking out for her; the thought that made her smile. So few people looked out for, or cared about, Hyuuga Hinata.
It had been a week or so since her fight with Neji during the chuunin exam. She had spent at least three days in the hospital as the doctors tried as hard they could to fix her inner coil system. Despite their best efforts, her breath still burned. She couldn’t train for anymore than a few minutes at a time.
Like this, I’ll never become stronger...but...but I won’t give up, I won’t!
Using the training post as support, Hinata pushed herself up slowly, fighting the wave of dizziness. As she had for the past week, she wondered if she would ever fully recover. Hinata wasn’t stupid; she knew that her cousin had no intention of letting her survive his onslaught. She had never heard of anyone who had survived such a blow in the past, either.
Be that as it may, Hinata couldn’t bring herself to blame Neji for what he did to her. A mix of love, pity, and understanding was what came to her mind emotionally when she thought about her cousin. She knew him better than he knew himself. And she had called him on it.
And he had tried to kill her for it.
In the dying light of the sun, it was harder and harder to see the training post, especially with another wave of dizziness, but Hinata stood firm and started her kata from scratch. She ignored how her arms, lungs, even legs burned with every movement and instead just concentrated on the dance.
The cool night air filled Neji’s lungs on his path back to the Hyuuga compound after his long day of training. Three weeks stood before him on his way to the last event of the chuunin exam. He had no doubts of his victory. Given his opponent, it was destined. Dropouts remained dropouts, genius remained as it was.
It was all decided already. But that was no reason not to train. So Neji did so. Daily. What he was working on with the help of Tenten shouldn’t even have been possible for him. In theory, it was a technique that only Hinata would’ve learned. His poor, hopeless cousin, doomed from birth, as was he, to her own inescapable fate.
And I, I am her caged bird, Neji thought, a cold smile twisting his lips. Fate was a mistress that enjoyed cruel tricks, cruel games. It was amusing in a certain fashion, as were all things when watched from a distance, detached.
Neji stopped mid-step and looked wide eyed at the training ground in front of him. After he was sure that his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, as if such a thing was possible in the first place, their silvery gaze narrowed dangerously.
Hinata, his dropout little cousin, was pounding on a training dummy relentlessly. He grit his teeth. The lesson he had taught her had not sunk in, it seemed. She was trying again to change her hopeless nature. Hinata would have to be reminded again, it seemed.
Nothing ever changes.
She was so absorbed in her ritualistic beating of the training dummy that she didn’t pay any attention to his approaching. He shook his head. Pathetic. One should always be aware of what was going on around them. To not do so could be deadly. And with the injuries he gave her before he had been pulled away, he knew that even something as simple as training the way she was could be fatal.
Why does she keep trying to change herself?
He moved up behind her, just out of range of her sight. He watched her movements for a moment, trying to see from them alone if she knew he was there. She did not. His smile became sardonic. The lack of talent on her part was so appalling. If the birth order of their fathers had been different, it would be her serving him.
“Hinata-sama,” he spoke simply, forcefully, no pretense of kindness in his voice. She froze at the sound of his voice, as Neji knew she would. Hinata stopped her pounding on the beaten training dummy. She slowly turned around, her eyes on the ground.
No confidence still, Hinata-sama? Neji thought to himself. Her body language betrayed her thoughts still.
“Neji-ni-san,” She said, in her quite, stuttering voice. Another apparent sign of lack of confidence in herself. He looked down at her, non-responsive to the surprised and almost pleading tone of her voice. It sounded like she was begging for understanding of some kind.
“What are you doing here, Hinata-sama?” Neji asked coolly, his voice so lacking of warmth that it was like an arctic breeze.
“Training,” the simple answer and her white eyes met his. He narrowed his gaze more and she dropped hers to the ground again.
Neji took a step towards her, and for once, Hinata didn’t back away immediately. For a reason he couldn’t name, that galled him. Severely.
“Why?” He asked, tersely, “I thought even you would learn by now that anything you do will not make any difference. You will always be as you are now: weak.”
Hinata looked up at him and did not look away, even when he forced his gaze even sharper. She had a half smile lighting her tiny face, “That’s not true, Neji-ni-san. People can get stronger, people can change.”
He didn’t want to hear this now. He didn’t even shake his head in acknowledgment of that statement. He took another step forward. It confused him that she didn’t back up. Hinata always backed up. She lacked the force of will needed to stand toe to toe with anyone. To even look someone in the face. This change bothered him, angered him.
“Your fate was set at birth, why can’t you just accept that, Hinata-sama?”
“Because,” she said simply, her voice lacking it’s usual stutter, “It’s not true. You can change, and I will change myself, Neji-ni-san,” her voice was soft he knew her well enough to know the words were meant as gentle encouragement.
“Why do you keep insisting that?” Neji spat out, moving forward, one hand on either side of her head against the training dummy, forcing Hinata to move back this time as well. She seemed rattled and he smiled. This facade of ‘change’ was breaking easily enough.
“You’ll be as weak as you are now, no matter how hard you train. I believe I proved that to you a week ago, unless you feel you need another reminder, Hinata-sama.”
She looked back up at him, that smile on her face again.
“I don’t go back on my words, Neji-ni-san. I will get stronger. I know I will.” Hinata said simply, and he could imagine her guilelessly adding on ‘and I’ll be able to defeat you.’ But she didn’t. Looking down at her, he found himself reminded, if only for a second, of the little girl that once long ago held his admiration. Neji had told his father that he had thought Hinata ‘cute’.
Now, knowing what he did, the thought he held of her was one of vapid beauty. Like a trinket one would keep on a shelf, the slightest topple could break it, but in the mean time it was at least pretty to look at. She smiled again, simple, devoid of thought or substance.
Hinata spoke in what Neji felt she meant to be a comforting tone of voice, “It’s okay, Neji-ni-san. You don’t have to be afraid of change,” She reached up to touch one of his arms with a still bandaged hand. He bristled. What ever it was she thought she had, he wanted no part of it. It seemed that Hinata needed to be taught her place again.
In a blinding fast motion, Neji grasped Hinata’s hands and pinned them to training dummy with one of his in a swift and easy motion. Hinata’s easy smile was replaced with a look of shock. It suited her so much better. It was more her than the image she was trying to present.
“If anyone here has something to fear, Hinata-sama, it’s you,” he said coldly. He would show her again, and this time, he would make sure she would remember the lesson.
“No one ever changes, Hinata-sama. Not you, nor I.” With that, he brought his mouth down on hers with a crushing force. If violence against her hadn’t worked, this was the only other way he knew to prove to her once and for all that he was the stronger one and always would be.
He would break the glass trinket. The vapid beauty.
Hinata’s eyes opened wide in shock as Neji’s mouth came down on hers hard. She wondered, no, she knew what she had said to incur this. Oddly enough, Hinata remembered a peck on the cheek she had once given Neji when they were children. The sheer difference of this, of what he was trying to do, assaulted her.
With quick hands, faster than hers had ever been, Neji tied her hands to the training post. Hinata was afraid, but she wouldn’t show it. His silver-ivory eyes looked into hers for a moment, as if he was contemplating exactly what affect he had on her for a moment. Hinata took the moment of calm to move her hands against the tie, the motion making the bonds tighter. Neji leaned in closer. His lips almost against hers, he spoke, “If you’ve truly become stronger than me, Hinata-sama, prove it. Escape me, break free.”
Hinata’s confused reply was muffled when Neji once again brought his mouth roughly to hers. He bit at her lip, forcing her mouth open, then his tongue snaked inside. Hinata was shocked at this. This was never how she fantasized about such things, but at the same time, what her cousin was doing was having a strange effect on her.
Neji’s hands pulled at her clothing, easily ripping off the plain black shirt she wore under her heavy jacket, the jacket itself hanging open. Not that there was much of her exposed, all her chest had been bandaged as a result of injuries from their fight during the chuunin exam. But even though the touch was muffled through the medical fabric, his hands running roughly over her body brought a reaction from her. She made a muffled noise, both a groan of protest and of pleasure.
Why is he doing this to me? Hinata thought to herself, also wondering why it was it seemed to affect her so. The very fact that her body was reacting scared her. She tried to pull away from Neji, which only caused her to back into the hard pole of the training dummy. He had taunted her with the possibility of escape, of breaking free. But Hinata wasn’t stupid. She knew her own ability. As she was right now, she was no match for her cousin.
“Neji-ni-san,” she gasped out when he moved away from her lips for a moment to bite down on her neck, “Please stop.”
“If you want this to stop, you have to escape on your own. Prove that you’ve grown stronger,” Neji said harshly, bitterly. Hinata felt him push aside the bandages over her right breast and then lowered his mouth to it. Hinata gasped as his teeth closed over the sensitive peak of the budding breast. Neji’s other hand wandered down and into her capris under her underwear.
When his long fingers brushed against her most private part, Hinata gasped and bucked her hips. She was trying to keep her wits about her, trying to think of a way to stop what Neji was doing, but all of a sudden it seemed very hard to think.
Neji inserted one long finger into her, rubbing it back and forth; stroking something inside of her that Hinata had never known existed. It threatened to block out all thought. She tried to suppress her body’s reaction, to think of a way to get away from her cousin, to run from the effect he was having on her.
“Stop this, please,” Hinata begged quietly, the last part becoming strangled on a moan as his hand rubbed that place inside of her again. She tried to speak his name, only to have it mangled on the other sounds that were being pulled from her against her will. Her body and her mind were singing two very different songs.
“Why, Hinata-sama? You know how to stop this, but then again, your body’s saying something else,” Neji looked her in the eyes then. They were lit with a kind of malevolent glee. “I think you like it when I do this,” he said, on the accented word rubbed her again. Against her will her hips bucked responsively. She looked away from him unable to meet his gaze, not wanting her own eyes to show the mixture of fear, pleasure and excitement that played in her mid.
It was an intoxicating mixture.
Neji’s hand ripped the capris off, as if the heavy fabric was nothing more than a flimsy lace. Her underwear, which had grown wet seemingly out of nowhere were also sacrificed to this game he was playing. Hinata shuddered as the cool air of the early evening blew against her. Where did all that moisture down there come from?
Neji moved in closer, his mouth assaulting hers again. There was nothing gentle or loving about it. It was all tongue and teeth, it was raw and primal and violent. And Hinata responded to him tentatively. The thought crossed her mind that perhaps if she somehow gave him what it was he wanted that he would finish this.
It seemed like he was crushing in around her, Neji’s entire body seemed to wrap around her. The sensation was as pleasurable as it was disturbing. She could feel something pressing into her, and she wondered wildly, confusedly, how it had come to this. Sex was not something Hinata had thought of in conjunction with Neji. But when his nails dug into her hips, when he pulled her up slightly and then down hard, fast and painfully, the reality of it sank in.
Hinata would’ve cried out in the pain of the uncaring plunge had his mouth not covered hers in that very moment. As a result the strangled cry was something swallowed by Neji and returned to her in the form of a strangled, muffled grunt. He was plunging in and out, fast and hard and it burned for a moment before turning into something unexpected. Pleasure, hot and forbidden coursed through her.
If Neji was surprised that her muffled cries of pain had changed, he didn’t show it. And Hinata detached herself as much as she could from the situation. She didn’t want to think about it, think that it was Neji who was doing this to her, and not someone else, to think that she was enjoying it, that they were in an area that they could be caught at any moment.
Hinata began to shudder, the feeling that something was breaking, something was changing, with each primal thrust of Neji’s he was doing something to her. He raked his nails over her back, over her hips, moved his hands over her bandaged body. And then, with an extremely deep thrust the winding sensation broke. Hinata gasped, far to self-conscious to scream out or anything along those lines. A couple moments later, Neji shuddered as well and bit down on her neck hard, Hinata could feel blood seep from that bite wound, but at the moment she didn’t care.
Hinata looking upward, detaching herself from the situation even more as she focused on the color of the sky, not the feeling of Neji slowly pulling out of her. She followed a white bird flying over head with her gaze, not watching him untie her hands, not feeling herself drop to the ground. She refused to look at him, to admit to herself for even a second that what he had done to her had been enjoyed, welcomed. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment, with guilt at having relished it.
Neji’s voice reached out as if from miles away, “This time, remember the lesson, Hinata-sama. People cannot change and we’ll always be tied together.”
As he walked away, Hinata uttered the only thing that came to her mind, “I’m sorry... Neji-ni-san, I forgive you....”
