While I hate stories that have characters I like die in them, I must admit I enjoyed this first chapter and am looking forward to more.

Ahh, it's nice to see you in the recent updates section. (: I've been following you for years.
The characters seemed to run together at first, but by the time I got to the end, I had to stop and collect myself between paragraphs. I could not stop crying!
