Huh... I just went back and read a few pages of the reviews to see what the whole hubbub was about anyways... and can we say 'PC much'? Reminds me of the news station that banned their reporters from using the word 'black' and required them to use 'African American' which may have been fine except for the poor stuttering reporter who tried to tell about the 'African American' athelete from EUROPE! Or when a student complained that another kid had called him a 'white boy' and I just had to say... 'but you are a white boy.'
(yeah I know... they were trying to bug each other... but this just made everyone laugh and it was all good- humor is the best way to relieve tension... seriously)And what about the dumb dumb schools who are going to present a washed down version of Huckleberry Finn? Yeah it'll take out the offensive word... but it won't accurately show what the time period was like and how it was accepted usage compared to what's accepted today.
So readers (and authors lol) who get offended... look at the INTENT. Were they trying to be offensive? If so... then they were offensive... if not...let it go. It's not worth the hurt feelings. The description was not racist... it was INTENDED to be descriptive. Ok... that's my 2 cents.

Great read and I will be following your stories off-site. Just sad how some touchy idiots had to ruin it for the rest of us Naruto readers. I've read your previous stories before and I hardly think you come off as racist or stereotypical. See you on the other site!

I normally don't leave a review of this nature, unless the situation calls for it. As you'll no doubt see, you'll see a couple for instances of *comment removed by admin*.
As the comments removed were name calling, which is FLAMING the other users, or a specific user, that's a ToS violation which is WHY the removal.
As to the reviews about the line within the story which sparked the responses all around, all but one were left alone. The reason for that is that when one publishes to an archive of this nature, or ANY archive, and one wants reviews, one will get them. One asks for concrit, one gets it. Whether or not the author AGREES with the concrit is not the point. The point is, the author (this is for any story) puts his or her work "out there" and if there are parts which the readers think should be phrased differently, they'll say so. Looking at all the reviews referencing the line in the story and pointing out the stereotype, I saw no name calling, nor rudeness. Certainly no call for the author to get offended enough to call those reviewers names, collectively, in an author note.
Any further instances of this will be deleted immediately from this board.

I just wanted to say how much I've loved this story and how very sorry I am that it will be your last. Thank you so much for deciding to post it in the end, I've been checking this story regularly for updates. I sorry to hear you've been having problems with some readers it's such a shame. But it doesn't change how great this story is, so thank you for writing it.

who did that?! *is incensed on your behalf...
Seriously, if they don't freaking like it, don't freaking READ it. It's THAT simple.
People like that make me want to maim them.
At any rate, thanks for this and thanks for not making Sas a total sub or switch. If someone can be gay or possibly hetro for someone, there's no reason that a person can't be willing to sub for a single master... *shrugs.
Sas still seems a little gun shy but it's good to see them making progress and trusting each other.
Also, thank you for not removing your stories. who ever said those things had no right to so please don't take it to heart.

This is hot. The premise in particular -- not just Dom!Naruto and sub!Sasuke, but that Sasuke is a dom with anyone but Naruto. It makes me want to be Naruto, really -- I may be a bit like your Neji in that I can be in vanilla relationships as easily as BDSM ones, but when I'm in a BDSM context my greatest pleasure as a dom is in giving my sub enough confidence that with anyone but me he's dominant. So congratulations -- you've hit my preferred kink arrangement in more detail than any other fanfic writer I've read, in one of my preferred pairings, in the direction that I prefer. (The only other way I can see Naruto and Sasuke in a relationship and in a BDSM context is as boyfriends who are both subs to the same dom. I just can't seem to read Sasuke as anything other than a sub.) If you ever want a beta who's a kink fiend with a literature degree -- just let me know.

2. I love this story. In fact, I love all your stories. I'm glad that you didn't decide to stop them because of the comments of a select few.
3. I'm not trying to play devil's advocate, but as a minority I can understand how others can get offended by the one Asian comment. The eye thing IS a stereotype by definition. I'm NOT saying that you're racist or that you support stereotypes. I totally understand where YOU are coming from, but I also understand where the others are coming from. I always find it best to avoid mentioning race in a story, unless it's relevant to the plot or meaningful in some way. We still live in a time where there is a lot of racial tension so just avoid it in the future.
