Darnit... now I'm all watery-eyed. This was such a beautiful story. I like how it spanned over the books and the years. And even though they didn't get a happily ever after together... there is something about the feeling of closure you gave your story. Like everything is still alright. Thank you so much for finishing this story :)

Love how your keeping to the actual story line, but with your personal twist, I can't wAit for chapter 10 and more ^_^

I agree with Kakashi... don't want him to forget Itachi!

oh my gosh I love this story. It's so bittersweet. You kept to the canon but made it so much more. I typically avoid shota but a 13 year old anbu is not really a typical 13 year old. I'm so glad Itachi had that time with Kakashi. Something separate from what he had to do. I hadn't read any of this before but it's absolutely wonderful. I cried over Itachi saying goodbye. Itachi and Kakashi's situation is painful and I hope there is a happy ending for them somewhere because darnit' you've made me care about these two.

"How to lure Itachi to his apartment? Kakashi was starting to feel like a pedophile when he thought like that. But that didn’t stop him plotting."

I laughed and laughed when I read that line. In real life that would be terrible, but, LOL. Too funny! You absolutely made my day.
