Man Pein is definitely in the dog house, right next to Itachi! This was very good! You did well with adding the back-story throughout this first chapter. I look forward to reading more!!!

I love this story so far! At first I hated Itachi for what he did to Naruto, but now the reason came out. I can see why he did it but I also can't see why he didn't leave a note, or explain it.....or or ...something! I have to agree with Naruto, Itachi will have to do alot of begging for forgiveness before he can have Naruto, but I think he is starting to turn around. Now he just needs to explain why there was no goodbye.
