What about the character in Root that Sai called brother? He died so his character is a complete blank. How about changing Tayuya into a male? Unless you have a role for her. Or the son that hit naru in the head with a dart, I think that was a side movie they had to escort a caravan. You can also change moegi into a male. Inari would be good, then you'd have two vying for Naruto's attention and competing against each other. Inari and Konoha hero worship him. Doesn't Shino have a younger brother?

Have you considered the possibility of bringing a member of Hebi (such as Suigetsu or Juugo) in as a cat or something else? I know they aren't from Konoha, but they are somewhat ridiculously loyal to Sasuke (Juugo especially). Though to be honest, I like the idea of the two of them coming in as a new breed of Uchiha elite or Sasuke's old classmates or something.

Kiba wouldn't be too bad for the role since he is very similiar to Naruto in a lot of ways and it is Naruto who encourages Konohamaru in canon. Akamaru could come in later as a stray or a genetically altered animal developed by Shino's family, perhaps. Or hell, Tsunade could win Akamaru in a bet and drop him off at the compound as a housewarming gift. XD

The only other men from Konoha that I can think of at the moment are Hayate and Raidou, which could possibly work, but then again you would have to alter ages and make Hayate healthier than he generally is.

But aside from all that, I have to say how much I love this story (though I must admit the last couple of chapters have been a little lacking on the acting, but the logistics of everything does need to be worked out). There a couple chapters that could use some proof reading, but other than that I have no complaints. This is the only story I can think of that I automatically read a chapter twice whenever a new one is posted. I am really looking forward to see where this going!

If you are playing with ages try Kankuro. He gained a big following after the three year gap when he got poisoned trying to save Gaara. And he's good looking, kinda like Kiba. Plus it can always be fun that he plays with puppets.

But aside from the suggestion, I have really enjoyed this story. I love the way you write it and I've been captivated by this world you put so much thought into. I look forward to each chapter and hope you enjoy writing this as much as I've enjoyed reading it.

I have to let you know that this is the best story I have ever read on this site. For your question, I agree with some of the other reviewers that Utakata may be a good choice. I like your idea of Inari. Here are a few other suggestions:
1. Idate - He is Ibiki's younger brother. He appears is some filler episodes in Part 1.
2. Ranmaru - He is the young boy that hung around with Raiga of the seven swordsmen.
3. Yukimaru - From Part 2, he had some kind of connection with the Sanbi. Naurto helped him find a home with Guren.

I know you said you wanted males only but you might try one of the more fiesty girls that another reviewer suggested. I can see Temari in that spot, maybe even Tenten.

There was one character, he fought gaara and lee and had all the weird bones, I can't remember his name though..he was very pretty and if orchimaru hadn't of got to him he would of made a character much like haku..i'm gonna have to find his name..

Continues to be brilliant.. if I write a better review it will be several pages and I'm too lazy for that! I am surprised but grateful that instead of writing original stories you waste your time on fanfiction... but being the SasuNaru/NaruSasu superfan I'm not gonna start complayning!

Well, now we have a better idea about what Shikamaru was up to, the tactician that he is.

I'm on the edge of my seat constantly with this story..its so good..I love how Shikamaru is developing..all of the characters are facinating, I'm also a little worried about K and O being introduced to the story..so suspenseful. :)

OMG! What can I say I haven't already said? Your story is the bomb! I want to watch it on TV or DVD! I love every word! I'm one of the crew in each chapter. Hi, loving the story. I was intrigued by the references to Sasuke telling Haku that he can see Iruka raising his children and Iruka saying in a few standards about seeing Naru surrounded by his own children. Then this last chapter when Sasuke said he was too young to raise children and Naru's non reaction.

Does this mean at one point that Naru's possessiveness will have to abate in order for Sasu to have more than one child?

How will they each father children? Unless it'll be a fertilization method. And if so, will a female be involved or a test tube? Are they going to discuss it? Or will Oro capture them and cause one or both to be able to have children?
