i really like the way you contrasted what naruto was used to: his need to be on the defense with what naruto wanted: the need to be able to relax with somebody else close to him. i love the way you wrote this. poor, poor naruto who desperately needs somebody to love him, somebody to protect him. and yay that it was kakashi. i like that there is a hint of kakanaru, sexual if you want to go that route, but i like that it was all focused solely on naruto's need to be protected and kakashi's need to protect his student.

this is a really sweet, simple, beautiful story. and i really enjoyed it. great job darling.
