As a huge Nickelback fan, I kept hearing the first few verses of the song in my head the whole time I was reading this. I think I finally see the point of songfics; usually I avoid them, because if it's a song I've never heard, I don't get the connection intended by the author, but this time . . . damn. I didn't expect to sympathise with Kushina, either, and I'm shaking my fist at Minato, wherever he is right now.

I'd say more, but I think I need to go get some hot tea and absorb the emotional blow. It probably doesn't help that I'm the single mother of a two year old. I tend to overreact to anything involving babies, much moreso the fear involved in having one all by yourself.

Lovely writing. Thank you. Once I'm done bawling like the hormonal thing I am, I intend to read everything else you've ever done.

aww poor Naruto, someone kick Kushina, no matter the situation there's no reason to abandon your kid. She could have gieven him to someone. *growls*
