hmmm, this is kinda cool for a one-shot. some of the best stories end permanently on a cliffhanger, leaving the reader to "fill in the blanks" as it were.

lol, this is so sad, but I like it a lot. I'm such a gosh darn sap when it comes to these kinds of stories. Keep up the good work.
