Thanks for your wonderful reviews. Last night, as I was trying to get some sleep, I started thinking what is it in this story I like so much? Well, there's definitely character depth and it's very well written, but that's not all. It's dark and it's much more mature than most fics here. You've got the talent to keep Iruka and Kakashi (perhaps Mizuki too, but I don't know so much about him) in character while playing with them, and still make it realistic. It's not a common gift. You did an excellent job describing the twisted relationship between Mizuki and Iruka. You made it real by writing about how deeply rooted the fear and Iruka's succumb to the abuse was, those things really don't happen over night. The scene where Kakashi took Iruka to his place and tied his hands behind his back made me bite my nails. I was completely feeling Iruka's panic and disbelief, and at the same time I was hoping Kakashi wouldn't do anything stupid. That scene was especially well written. Kudos. Now I'll make myself something to eat and read the Drawn to your Darkness, Addicted to your light.

First of all I loved your story. It was absolutely great! Only I thought Kakashi wouldn't be dumb enough to threaten Mizuki and leave Iruka to deal with the consequences alone. I think the fic is perfect as an one-shot, but I was left with a wanting to know what'd happen next. What is Iruka going to do (to Mizuki or otherwise)? Will Iruka and Kakashi get together? I'm just dying to know! So please, write more. Anyway, thanks for sharing. It's a great fic!
