Personally, my favorite part was that Shukaku's pet name for Gaara was Narcissus. I've never read that anywhere before and I found it fantastic. For a monster who only loves himself its so freaking appropriate. Props to you! Seriously. What a great idea.
Secondly, I have to say, while I can't possibly approve of the incest relationship between Gaara and Kankuro (although it was pretty funny) I have to say that I'm thrilled to read a Gaara-centric story showing him actually doing ninja/kazekage stuff other than paperwork. It was quite a treat. I commend you for it. ^^ Keep up the great freaking work.
