Love the story!
Neji does seem to be acting too 'girly,' but it works.
Shika/Neji was the first yaoi couple I ever wrote a fanfiction too, so I have a weakness for them. XD

Waaahh, so cute! I loooove these two and I admire you for your ability to do this tight-rope-walking with Neji - proud Hyuuga/ brilliant shinobi/ shy lover. The mix is oh so entertaining ^_^ And the way Shika teases him to no end...*snigger* Oh, I so can't wait for the next steps our dear Shika is going to lead Neji through.

I new I wouldn't get it right, but it was fun guessing...and thanks for the cookie, it was yummy.

*munching on the two cookies she just got* Whoahaha! What could Shikamaru possibly have said to Sasuke? And Neji have never been frenched? XDDDDD Now THAT surprised me. So good of Shika to, as you said, break him in slowly ^_^ Agh, can't wait til the smut!!! XD

All I can say about this chapter is Awwwwwww. Those moments before the party were sweet. Lee had me cracking up...manly tears, I'm gonna start calling them that from now on. lol And lets see, the "theme" for the next couple of chapters is "Getting to know each other better" *wink wink* If you know what I mean. XD rofl

It took me some time to get around to reading this, but I'm glad I did. I love the story so far. And as much as I'm anticipating some action between Neji and Shikamaru, I like the way their relationship has progressed so far; it's more believable, and really enhances the story compared to when authors jump into the romance too quickly, and don't get to include the cute little moments that I really liked in your story. Keep it coming, I can't wait to read more (:
