I readed this on FF.net And I though something like: OMG! Naruto you evil fox! And Itachi, the weasel showed it's sadistic side!
And in the end I was like: poor Sasuke... but he did desserved some punishment.... but the rest... hmmmmmm troublesome....
And really, when in the last phrase you said: and the bird chirped in the silence (or something like that) I was laughing so hard that my brother looked at me oddly.
It was a sense of dark black humor. But it was nice... Were you trying to lighten' up the mood? (was that irony?)
