The Zabuza, Haku, Kakashi subplot is really interesting/hot/romantic. I like Jiraiya's role too. The whole gay rights and religious hypocrisy aspect is well done too, but sadly not really that interesting to me--I want the romance, and I'm liberal and pro-gay rights and in a blue state, so I'm not surrounded by political tension, but it works excellently to add to the angst. I like the way you adopted Sasuke's life--very clever. It's impressive how many characters you've worked in! Great job! Thanks for sharing!

Ooh! I really love this story! I love how you show the things I kind of dislike of Christians, no offence to them, for I am one too, but I think they really need to be more open minded about some stuff.. I guess
Either way, I can't wait to read the next chapter! (yay for the NaruSasu <3)

First of all, let me say that this might go on for a bit, so I apologize ahead of time ^^;
I love this story, I really do. It's not just because i love Sasuke and Naruto together, or because I really like you're writing style, or even because the lime in chapter 2 was damn hot. Well, it's all of those things as well, but something else too. See, I grew up in a family that is catholic all the way, my dad is so religious it's scary. Scary because he is one of those catholics that preaches on the streets but goes home and abuses his family. Luckily I no longer live with him, but he still goes to church each week and finds new ways to put me down for not going. I used to go to church when I was little, with the family. Now, at 21, I haven't got to church in years. I believe in god, but I refuse to believe in what the bible says, and I don't think for a second that those priests and the pope are saying god's words. I leave that to god.
I love reading your story, because it puts things in perspective and makes me feel like there just might be more people out there who are trapped in religious families and can't just say "I don't believe in the bible." and be done with it. Although these characters are fictional, it gives me a sense of comfort, so thank you.
Now, onto a few notes about the story itself. I adore how you've portrayed Sasuke's feelings for Naruto, how he just seems so completely lost without him. And how Naruto is letting go and falling in love with Sasuke as well. I didn't see that whole thing with Naruto's mom coming, and I can't help but wonder how she's going to deal with it. I doubt she'll think about it and decide to be accepting of her son's feelings, which is a shame, but that's how these things go.
I hope Naruto gets the hell out of his parents place and moves in with Jiraiya, because the kid deserves a bit of happiness. He isn't gonna get it at home, considering his dad is such a complete and utter bastard. Oh, that reminds me, thank you SO MUCH for not making the Yondaime his father in this fic. Don't get me wrong, I personally think that he is Naruto's dad (and completely smexy - on that note, have you seen the latest chapters of Naruto? He's turning into one hot little piece of ass ^_~ now if only Sasuke would come back...*grumble*) but if my precious Yondaime was that prejudiced asshole I think I'd puke. So thanks!! I hope Naruto's dad gets mauled by a pack of rabid kittens >_<
Well, I'll keep reading this story, thanks so much for writing it and please keep giving us the good stuff :D later!

OOOooooo. I guess you can say that the cat is outta the bag. not the best way for his mom to find out, but shit like that always happens in real life so it really draws you into the story. Also i'm guessing it was her who slammed on the breaks?! lol. Loving the story! <3
