Nice work describing the genjutsu Itachi used on Naruto; it almost makes you feel like you were there! I'm a little behind the times so will comment after a few chapters instead of each one. The only disappointment was Naruto's friends didn't immediately kick the Anbu guy's but for what he did, but he got his in the end, right?

Wow... This fic of yours is amazing! I'm having trouble coming up with anything useful to say! I love all of your characterizations! Everyone is spot on. Your Naruto rocks my freakin' socks. You seem to have really grasped his compassionate nature. I think that people often miss the finer, deeper aspects of his personality. Your Itachi is also totally enthralling. I love that he is so bothered by Naruto. Itachi off-balance is always fun ^_^.

All the different parts of this are very well written. The parts not involving Naruto or Itachi are just as fascinating as those that do involve them. Some long fics can drag a bit when not focusing on the main pairing or the main action, but every moment of this loverly fic has totally arrested my attention!

I wish that my review was longer or more helpful, but frankly, I'm a little too in awe of your amazing ficcie to squeeze much more out!

Oh my god! I found this story and simply could not put it down. The fact the plot isn't rushed and you're allowing for character development is one I have enjoyed a great deal. It's rare because most people are "lemon lemon lemon." It's great to have plot for once. If you have a mailing list for updates, please add me to it. I'd love to see what happens next!

It sounds like Itachi is suffering from a form of emotional deprivation. He doesn't know what anything other than hatred is. If he falls for Naruto, he's going to have a breakdown. In a lot of ways, he's like Gaara...starving and not realizing it.
