Beautiful and sad. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

So sad! And yer the posibilities for comfort between the two make it worth reading. Please don't let it end here. This pairing doesn't have enough stories that they can afford to be unfinished. And I would so love to see more affection between that two. You have such a moving first chapter. Just a few more? Please?

Poor Iruka... It nearly made me cry, especially when Kakashi and Naruto are holding hand and crying together. I could picture them perfectly. Thanks !

Poor Kakashi and Naruto! u_u I want MORE!

Very emotional death scene. Made me want to cry. Not for the fact that someone was killed off, but that it was Iruka. Poor Kakashi. All in all, I loved it. Beautifully done. Take your time with the next chapter, I'm not ready to cry yet.

Kaka/Naru pairings are very rare and well written ones are even rarer. So far, however, this is looking extremely promising. Though sad, you've set up the story very well and I'm excited about the trials that are to come. You have a lovely writing style and I'm sure the rest of your fic will be just as good as this chapter. I do hope that you won't rush this story though. I know most authors (and even a lot of readers) would want everyone to jump into a relationship and shag right off the bat, however, since you've set this up to be occuring after the death of someone close, I think that there is a lot more pyschological things that should be playing within the characters' minds. I don't think Kakashi could so easily move on to Naruto (or anyone) after losing Iruka but at the same time I can see Naruto striving to replace the relationship void that Iruka had provided him prior to his death. I'm sure you have already thought of all this, however. I really am looking forward to the rest of your fic and I can't wait for the next update. Again, great job thus far! Keep up the excellent work.
