This fic is shaping up nicely, you are doing very well. :) I really look forward to your updates.

Don't worry about not noticing the smile in the manga, it even took me a while to notice - and I read the manga a lot! I just thought it was interesting how Sakura shows a few signs of affection towards Naruto that we don't see her doing so towards Sasuke. Especially when we catch her daydreaming about Naruto and not Sasuke. XD (when she found out who beat Gaara, and the "date" when Naruto reassured her about Sasuke) I just love the subtle stuff Kishimoto uses in the Naruto/Sakura relationship.

It's really cool to hear that you're planning to work the smile into your story. :) Can't wait to see it when it comes up.

Ch.3 was very well written and I enjoyed it thoroughly but, it was kind confusing in the way you ended the scenes. It's nothing major just wanted to let you know. Keep up the good work and update when you have time please.

Good stuff again. :) There were quite a lot of flashbacks, but I can see you're painting the background to Sakura's feelings by referring to times in the manga when she felt something for Naruto. That's good build-up and gives it more grounding. I'm not sure if you noticed (you probably have) but Sakura has a certain smile she has NEVER given to anyone else, not even Sasuke. It's the one where her eyes narrow in a soft way and she has that really cute slight smile, it looks quite tender. It shows up in three different places I think - her finding out about Naruto saving her, and Ch 245 were two such times.

Naruto's plan to earn more cash was a good one! I'm sure that the sake will have very interesting consequences, I'm hoping that it won't be all the way straight away, but maybe something that makes Naruto and/or Sakura wonder? Well, I'll see what you have planned.

I'll be looking forward to more!
