the situation is so domestic, but the atmosphere is too heavy, dreadful. very nicely balanced. i like it a lot!

'cause i'm a dink, and forgot to mention this in my earlier review... the characterizations are very well-done, maintained believably as scene follows scene and everyone acts and reacts in distinctive, important ways.
also, with the kyubi/naruto/sasuke-ness, it's actually _3_ relationships that are mingling together in... interesting ways: kyubi/naruto, naruto/sasuke, and sasuke/naruto. mmm, i like, i like, i like, i like, i like.
