I recently found my way back to this little jewel and it's as good as I remember. I love the way you establish and develop the relationship between Team 7. All of them are in character and they fit the story so well. I love the sexy times but I love that it's not the main focus - here is an awesome story to be told and it's only enhanced by not being censored, not overwhlmed by it.
I wish you'd find the time and the will/muse to finish this because I really, really want to see what you can do, especially with what we know of Itachi and the truth behind the Uchiha massacre.
Still, even unfinished it's still an awesome story and I just wanted to say thanks for sharing it.

tbh, i don't see why sakura or ANY of them would have ANY rights to the uchiha district or any secrets that the uchiha had. they aren't uchiha, by either blood or marriage, so they have no rights and even if sasuke defected, the bank has no right to sell the district nor do they (team seven) have the right to any of the secrets or land. it's like sakura saying "oh yeah, i want the hyuga clan's compund" if the hyuga clan were all wiped out. and not to mention is INCREDIBLY disrespectful for them to just take the clan land as if the entire clan wasn't murdered / massacred ON BEHALF of the stupid village. it just. they're hella disrespectful and have ZERO rights to be there. its like "oh we deserve it, who cares about sasuke lol sasuke he sucks. we're just gonna ignore the fact that hundreds of people died on this land and we're gonna take it cause lul we deserve it and fuck sasuke he aint here. i want all the secrets of the uchiha clan." thats so ugly.
plus, naruto seems rather ooc. and there's WAY too much sasuke bashing, its actually a turn off.

Hi, sup, konnichiwa

I was just cleaning up all my old bookmarks today when I stumbled across this fic in a folder I had so eloquently named "found while looking for some other shit but seems interesting" and then proceeded to read through it in just about two hours. Now, as is my policy when I absolutely devour a fic, I just had to leave you a review. I don't know if you're ever gonna read it, or if you even check/get notifications for reviews on AFF anymore (from what I can see on your profile, you haven't been active here for close to three years now), but maybe you'll get nostalgic one day and check back and see it :)

Anyways, upon reading the first chapter I immediately understood why I had this story bookmarked: even just the basic premise (Team Kakashi chasing after Sasuke for years and then just stopping because they couldn't take it anymore, and him then coming back on his own) was something I hadn't (and still haven't) seen before. Then the idea of Bitch Nights (first thought: "Holy shit that sounds like so much fun (and cleansing)!"). But what really drew me in was how alive the characters were. It's so easy, especially in fan fiction, to make a characters personality only skin deep and have the source material (or the reader) supply the rest, but you really brought them to life. And while you certainly kept them in character, you also managed to portray how they have changed compared to the anime - not only made them more mature since they're older, but also showed how their dynamics and relationships with each other would change once their world no longer revolved around Sasuke. I also liked how you really focused on their private, day-to-day lives for background information. Most fics, even with the same premise as yours, would still be mission this, training that, battle here, war there... But even though you made sure to state that they're still doing missions and training, you kept true to the premise of the story ([We're taking a break, GOD DAMMIT!!]) and focused on everything that happens outside of that. It gave the characters more substance and made them more human, made them seem even more real than when watching the anime (which, while kind of obvious, since it totally focuses on the action, is also what makes fanfiction so great in my opinion, the ability to expand the world and characters you love so much even further).

Also, yay for Team K foursome. Because fuck ships, there's always someone who gets left out, and anyone trying to tell me those four(five) could have a normal relationship (with anyone) is full of shit. I still like traditional pairings of course, but why focus on two people when you can make all four of them happy? And buying the Uchiha district and moving in while he's still on the run is brilliant as well. I've seen it done in fics where he came/was brought back, but never quite like this before.

No matter, let's focus on the most important part:

You write so. Fucking. Good. Seriously. You're brilliant. I already covered the part with your characters coming alive, but... eh, whatever, let me praise you on that again ^^
The way you write is simply awesome. The element of the Bitch Nights alone would be enough to push most any fic firmly into crack territory, but you managed to balance all the humor (which is awesome) and lightheartedness with enough seriousness that, instead of coming off as hastily thrown together or simply black-white patchwork, you created a well rounded, well written story that just flows - there's not a single point where that flow is interrupted, where you get jarred by the developments and have to do a double take � la "WTF did just happen?". You have the right amount of fun and jokes at the right times, coming from the right characters, and the same for all the serious stuff. You characters read like real people, even with all the impossible BS of a ninja career thrown in. Instead of the entire canon universe, you decided to focus just on those four(five) and their immediate surroundings, and the story is better for it.

Writing all this, now, mainly makes me regret I didn't immediately read your story when I found it, and follow you along the way. My bookmarks tell me I added Bitch Nights early in 2009, while you were still actively writing it, and I wish I could have been here then and supported you.

I'm not gonna ask you here to continue this story. At the time I'm writing this, it stands at almost 48.000 hits, 440 reviews (including mine) and a +++++ rating with almost 270 raters (me included). You haven't touched it (at least on AFF) for about 4 years now. You probably wouldn't abandon a story so popular and well received unless you had some real good reasons for it, and if they haven't changed in four years they aren't like to do so now. So, instead, I want to thank you for your wonderful story. I would have very much liked to see where you would have gone with it (especially now, with the manga nearing it's end), but I'm still grateful for all the enjoyment and laughter (and wet dreams? We'll see...) it has given me.

So thank you. I wish you the best in your life (especially with your daughter - she should be in Primary now if I didn't miscalculate?) and all your current and future writing endeavors, whatever they may be.

Now I'm gonna go and check out your other works here, to see if I can find something to fill the hole that's gaping inside me now (jk).

Dear god, for all that is good- please PLEASE keep this going. I don't know when it was that the last chapter was posted, but I'm totally lost in how much team seven is lost in one another. Its a beautiful, beautiful thing.

This is one of those fanfics that I still check up after a few months to see if it's been updated. I know life gets in the way, but man do I ever wish this fanfic would have been continued. I watch the anime, and I can't think of Sasuke as Sasuke, he is Duck-Butt or Emo-Sama now thanks to you. I'm still hoping for one day for this to be updated, so thanks for writing this fanfic!!
