I like the concept on Naruto losing his memories and gaining news is a great one. To start with keep up the good work.

I like the idea behind this fic. I just have a "thing" for memory-loss fic, I guess, so you are hitting one of my personal kinks here. :D I do have two pieces of criticism for you though.

The first is that you should NEVER write author's notes in the middle of a story. A good story sweeps you up in it while you're reading it and you forget everything around you. A/Ns in the middle of the fic scream "I'm a story!" and ruin the magic. Also, they come across like you're apologizing for what you've just written. You don't want to do THAT do you? If you feel like you need to clarify what you wrote, figure out a way to do it as part of the story, not as a note.

The last thing, and this is just my personal opinion, I don't really like how Orochimaru's plan is basically a repeat of what happened in the first part of the fic. In the first part of the fic, Naruto lost his memories and started acting differently because of it. The fic spent some time showing us his new personality and what the differences were. That made sense, that was good character development. Because of that, I got used to the new personality and started liking this cool-headed Naruto. But now, Orochimaru had his memories erased AGAIN and he's got a whole new personality?! Doing that pretty much wastes the first part of the fic. We got to know a character that now no longer exists. You could have skipped all those chapters and had Sasuke be the one to find him after his accident. Much simpler and faster. Or really, the simplest thing of all would have been if Orochimaru had told Naruto he was their ally/Sasuke's lover. Instead, we now have a memory-loss character with a changed personality inside of a memory-loss character with a changed personality. It's so confusing. (Real Naruto...where are you?)

And again, this is just personal preference here, but part of why I liked the calm Naruto was because it was going to be a challenge for Sasuke to get him to like him. He wouldn't have their mutual pasts to rely on. But this Naruto is convinced Sasuke was his lover, so now Sasuke doesn't have to do any work at all. Since Sasuke is the jerk of the situation, he doesn't deserve to have it THAT easy, does he?
