I don't know about others but I have taken to reading 2 or more chapters at a time. The suspense drives me mad otherwise. I am not much of a reviewer, I never know what to say. But I will say that I rarely read stories with second generation characters, and have never before read a story where they take so much of the spotlight. However your characters are so compelling I would probably still be reading even if the main Naruto characters were no longer in the story. Keep up the excellent work (please!!!!!).

I can't imagine that someone who's read this far could possible lose interest in this story. I just want you to know that there are still some of us that look forward to every Saturday, and relish every update. As far as plot, character development, writing style are concerned, you (and this story) have to be in the top 1% on this website. In other words, "There ain't much out there that's better!" I'll always cheer you on! And thank you for keeping Haru and Ran moving slow. Their tender moments make me blush and squeal like a school girl!!!

I haven't written since you started the first chapter of this story. I am a loyal fan and read the story every week. I am in love with all of your stories and I do hope you will continue. I realise that people like me just like to read the story and enjoy while you put so much thought into the plot. I really apprieciate the effort and care you put into your story and love the charactures. I am a big fan. please continue with the story.

Hi! So I'm gonna admit that you REALLY freaked me out at first with the note at the end of the last chapter. I thought it was the dreaded 'hiatus' authors note. But you didn't let me down so I'm happy. I started following this world in the very first chapter of "In the cold of space you find the heat of the sun" on FF.net. This is no longer just another story for me. You have put so much time and detail into each and every chapter that I honestly feel like this a real story about real people who exist somewhere in the universe. I know that it may seem like no one is interested or you're not getting the encouragement that you deserve but I will always be a fan! This is a story that I will remember even 10 years after you stop writing it. If you ever feel like no one is reading just remember that I log on every Saturday morning to read the new chapter. Whatever you decide to do with this story, I'll always be a fan.
Thank you for spending so much of your time to create this masterpiece for me and all the other readers! You always have been and always will be my all time favorite author:)

First thing first (even if it was put as a last on the bottom of the page…); I have no idea how anyone who started to read this could possibly stop! It doesn’t make any sense to me… Any at all…
Yuki put up such a challenge to Kazu? Wow, he must’ve wanted to impress someone very much!

I loved the moment Naruto came to Haru’s room, what he said and the thing he did to his hair…

I can’t believe it finally happened… THAT day…
I was so touched when kits were receiving their knives…
What Kakashi said about Iruka – it was so nice to hear that. Iruka is my favourite so… Thank you.
Also thank you for putting more light to the throat mike working.
I was relieved that Haru didn’t give Ran the plaques. ( I can’t remember why did Ran cut his hair? It’s good because I thought it looked ridiculous in anime but still…. I just can’t remember. I need to do some research of past chapters.)

Once again THANK YOU for your writing, for giving your time away to please readers. It means a lot to me, because I really love this story. I hope other ungrateful readers will come around too.

Hi Mannah. It's been a while. Real life is hard and time very short. I continue to read even when not reviewing. I especially like the previous chapter. Sasuke resisted temptation. The reason I think I don't review is mainly because I get guilty about the fact I stopped reviewing? Like I have all these feelings about chapters and every saturday I log onto my email REALLY EXCITED and go TODAY IS THE DAAAAY! But then after reading I click on the review button and then like I am all 'I haven't reviewed for ages'...'what if she goes blurrgh what kind of reader are you'...and then of course I don't review which makes the cycle worse haha.

What's even more embarassing is that I keep re-reading the whole series. So good! SO GOOD!

So yeah, hands-down this is still my favourite fanfiction of all time, despite multiple fandoms, almost ten years of reading fanfiction...I can honestly say this is my favourite. In fact forget fanfiction, this is one of my favourite BOOKS. Abhorsen, The Painted Man, In the Cold of Space you Find the Heat of Suns. This is the best thing I have ever read and the fact that week after week you keep putting it out means the world to me. A lot of the time I get really depressed, and I think what is worth living for, what small goal can I wait for? Re-reading this, waiting for the new chapter, re-reading your original works (also FEY in this chapter fff) just. You're wonderful, your writing is wonderful and I can honestly say you've saved my life more than once.

This story is beautiful, and literally the only thing that keeps me coming back to this site anymore. It's fascinating to watch how such different characters all come together, without losing what makes them distinct, and to see how the litter develops into themselves. I was hesitant about Haru&Ran at first, in large part because Haru feels so young and they both have their own issues. But it's becoming such a good relationship, which sorta surprised me because this is a world where bad things do happen and there's not just an automatic happy ending and that only makes it so much better as a story.

I'm the type of person who reviews a lot. But I wanted to say thank you for writing thus grand adventure. I've been reading since In the Cold of Space. I keep checking your page hoping that there's a new chapter to read like a kid on Christmas morning staring at a gift waiting to be opened. Awesome chapter!!! I've been waitig for this for soooo long!!!! I cant wait to see whats in store for Haru and Ran i love those guys!!

I also am really rooting for shika to find a love!! He deserves it so much! I know a lot of people think its gonna be Sasuke when Naruto dies but... Idk i just feel like he deserves someone who he would come first for but i have read a similar story and the "Sasuke" and "shika" characters ended up being really happy after woth no weird feelings after the "naruto" character died so i guess i have hope.

I do read this every simgle saturday because i love it (and all your other stories so much) i'm sorry indont often review but know i'm always here!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing stories with us!!!
