I love how the story is slowly coming together. It is kind of cool to come in to the story where a lot has already happened and slowly be filled in; it's like being handed a puzzle peice every now and than and putting them together slowly but pleasurably. I love it.

And with all the medical knowledge I assum (either wrongly or accuratly) that you either have an interest or exposer to medicine or you are addicted to greys anatomy :3 Its fun for someone like me to read though. I have a medical family and its slightly nastalgic if not comforting to have those gears turning in my head.

    Do write more >w

Since other people are also wondering about it, to throw my two cents in: what I understood about Naruto's reaction to Sasuke is that he *resembles* someone that he once knew, not that Naruto is necessarily convinced that he does know Sasuke. Is that wrong? I was assuming one of two possibilities:

A.) Sasuke looks like someone Naruto knows, either coincidentally (like how Sasuke and Sai are supposed to resemble one another), or perhaps through a family relation if Naruto happens to know any other Uchihas.

B.) Naruto does, in fact, know Sasuke himself, but it's been years since they last saw one another and that's why Naruto is unsure if he recognized him or not (would be especially true if they'd know each other in childhood since Sasuke would have physically changed since then).

I don't think I would find it very realistic, given Naruto's confusion over Sasuke's identity, if he turns out to be the guy who messed Naruto up in the past. Given the huge impact that person had on Naruto's life, there's NO possible way that Naruto wouldn't have recognized him. (Naruto was in Sasuke's personal space for quite a while helping him throw up, after all.)

I think my confusion on the chapter was more about why Naruto decided to cut Sakura off when she started to tell him about Sasuke. Why would he do that? He'd gone to see her on purpose to find out about Sasuke, right?

I was also a bit confused at the beginning of the chapter. It took me a while to figure out who was talking (didn't know it was Sakura until Sasuke said her name at the end of the scene) and what was going on between Sakura + Sasuke. I think putting in a few simple context clues would have helped a lot, something like, "Sasuke woke up in the hospital. He was surprised to see Sakura was his doctor" (or whatever). I assumed when Sasuke woke up, that it would be in the hospital, but then Sasuke started talking about work and Sakura started talking about Sasuke's living arrangements which made her seem more like an at-home nurse (or a personal assistant) than a doctor in a hospital. But doctors aren't allowed to treat family members/close friends, so why was Sakura treating him? (In fact, that very issue just came up in "The Fallacies of Altruism," LOL. Check that fic out if you haven't yet; you'd probably like all the medical stuff in it.) Was that why Sakura wanted to tell Naruto about Sasuke; she wanted him to know about her conflict of interest in treating him?

Can't wait for the next chapter where I'm sure we'll start to get to the bottom of some of these mysteries. :)

Is "HIM" Sasuke? Don't tell me the little idiot already screwed Naru over once...why do I have the never ending urge to smack Sasuke really hard? Hrmmm LOLI loved it! I like the way you'resetting every one and everything up. One person at a time but not forgetting the other charecters... it mademelike Sakura... which isn't easy to do.

Great chapter with more insight. I'm confused about whether Naruto knows Sasuke (he seems not to) and who is 'that wretched guy'? I hope Neji can get a date or something with Naruto, but seems like he's a nuisance to Naruto already.:( I really like that Naruto's so wanted in this fic and he's intelligent of a doctor. So Sasuke has/had gallstones, wow! Had he passed one by vomitting? I can't wait for the next chapter, please hurry??X3

Naruto the doctor, Sasuke the patient? I like the idea of that. :) (Any fic where Naruto isn't an idiot or a penniless orphan automatically gets a +1 in my book.) Really good description of food poisoning, I thought (if that's what's actually going on and not something worse). Poor Sasuke, hope they manage to figure it out soon. Looking forward to reading more of this.

One small piece of advice: in this line - "you need to breathe and finish clearing your stomach, just get that sh!t out of your body" - you could have actually written out the word "shit" instead of partially editing it. No one would've been offended if you had since it's such a minor swear word.

I like it. It has a very serious tone that compliments the angst of Naruto's last thought. I'd love to see more soon. I'm wondering if Sasuke ate some bad Sushi. Whatever it was he seems pretty messed up. For some reason this has a 'Grey's Anatomy' undertone to it, or is that just wishful thinking? Either way, I will look forward to your next post.
