This chapter hit close to home for me with Naruto afraid of absent mate will hurt child as absent father. You don't want ur child hurt like u were by the father. I also loved the tender moment of Kyusuke vowing not to leave his dad's side. Children are so perceptive about things.:3 I'm happy Sasuke shows he still loves or cares for Naruto and wants to try family life, and that Naruto also has love and support from his friends. I hope their friends come to love Sasuke as one of their own as time progresses. Great chapter.X3

NO! Baby girl it's not staring to drag:) It's perfect! Don't change your pace. Kyusuke made me laugh with his pranks and telling his dad he's marrying Nara. That was a good one:) But the best was Sasuke telling Kakashi his side of why! That was wOw! I could see all those being the reasons why. You are amazing that was deep for me. I totally loved every word ^_^

    thanks for updating! :)

Sasuke has a long way to go for him to be forgiven by Kyuusuke, but i am happy with this chapter that somehow the father and son is making a progress with their relationship.. so how about Naruto and Sasuke's relationship? will Kakashi's advice really work? i really hope soo..

i like the scene wherein Sasuke and Kyuusuke we're looking for their favorite tomato ^_^
at least now they are indeed progressing with their soon to be father and son relationship

Yup, I'm with AlienX, Kyusuke is naturally quite protective of Naruto since he's the only parent he's got, but in this particular situation, Sasuke isn't guilty of anything. A deadbeat dad is one who shirks his responsibilities as a parent. Since Sasuke never knew he was a parent, he can't very well have shirked responsibilities he didn't know were his. As for people being angry that he wanted to legally petition for *his rights* to see his own child, well, forcing the issue isn't nice, but him backing off just because Naruto said so is much, much worse. I'd lose respect for him if he didn't fight to have a relationship with Kyusuke. A deadbeat dad walks away, but a good parent fights to keep the relationship. Truthfully, the fact that Kyusuke is disappointed in Sasuke right now is Naruto's fault for lying to the kid in the first place. I know he was trying to spare the kid's feelings, but it's only making things harder on Kyusuke now that he's discovered the truth and knows his heroic father wasn't quite so heroic. He can't help but feel crushed by the realization. As I said before, I'm sympathetic to how tough things have been for Naruto being a single parent and continually being rejected by Sasuke, but Naruto shares the blame for a lot of his own problems since it was Naruto who chose to have the baby, Naruto who chose not to inform Sasuke, and Naruto who chose to continue chasing a person who had made his feelings about not wanting to come home abundantly clear. No one forced Naruto to do any of those things. Hmmm... a question: why does Sasuke actually want Naruto back all of the sudden? "Because he's the mother of my child" seems so arbitrary (and unfair to Naruto). There has to be more to it than that, right? He made the decision to walk away and not pursue a romantic relationship with Naruto before, so what's changed to make his previous objections null and void?

well, Kyusuke might act like four in previous chapter but after what he said to Sasuke, I thought he was fourteen instead of four. Even if he's a prodigy, he acted a little too mature.

Before being aware of Kyusuke, Sasuke didn't seem to have any intention to come back to Naturo and now, he acted like Naturo was the main course and Kyusuke was the appetite??? Honestly, he acted completely selfish and right now I couldn't see any reason for Naturo to take him back.
