YAY!!! Iruka is on the mend. Kakashi better be on his best behavior. Now time to find out how Haku is doing. Please tell me he is doing well. He needs to get back to Itachi & Kisame. Can't wait for my next fix (chapter) this is so like a drug now. Keep up the awesome work.

It is totally awesome that you included Kakashi's pack! I do hope at some point that he will get the chance to personally interact with them - it would mean the world to them and their reactions would probably embarass Kakashi at first (which Iruka might enjoy!). I feel so bad for Inari right now. He obviously cares for Tayuya, but I get the impression that he does not love her and is kind of struggling with what to do. On top of that he (and several of the elite fighters) has lost his sounding board in C-san. Maybe he can talk to Iruka about it and get some perspective and Iruka would get to feel like he is contributing. I hope Kisame and especially Itachi are doing ok after what happened to Haku. I kind of hope that Itachi gets to be the one finally put Orochimaru down for good since he thought he had last time and was personally raped more than once by the creepy little slug. I have to wonder how pissed Oro was when he found out that Naruto was almost killed in the process. They might not have to torture Dei to death because Oro might very well beat them to it.

It is sad to see Shikamaru so stressed (even if he has very good cause) and it was nice that he got to spend some quality time with the Zetsus. Maybe spending some time with Haru after the children are de-podded will help give him some perspective about become the primary caregiver for his little sister. Who knows - maybe Haru will have some insight or ideas about what is going on or input on how to proceed. I am already feeling bad for Sasuke having to deal with his children's sorrow and confusion when they find out about Naruto.

I was away too long. It was almost like I was reading a new story, so much went on. The line about nerd's convention made me giggle. I like how Kakashi can still be surprised, about the news of the Snuffers I mean. Thanks for updating!

Another terrific chapter! I love how you show the entire extended family pulling together to help one another, even admist their grief (and perhaps in part because of the need to take some form of action), and despite the absense of the queens. The fully realized characters, each of whom has not only admirable strengths but also corresponding weaknesses make this story utterly addictive. I can't help but muse on the concept of leadership in its various forms in these last few chapters. It is absolutely critical to make "right" decisions, as Kakashi realizes Sasuke has done; but it is also necessary to step in and take additional responsibilities when needed while somehow still taking care of your own responsibilities and your loved ones, as Neji is doing; to care and have empahty for others but be able to coldly analyze what is needed for the greater good as we see Shikamaru doing; to learn from one's own mistakes, hear different perspectives -- even those contrary to one's instincts or training and use that information to make better decisions, and always to care for those in your responsibility even if you need to put aside your own grief and fear to do so, as we see Kakashi, Itachi, Chouza, and possibly Asuma doing. I'm rather grateful, not for Naruto's, Iruka's, and Haku's injuries, but their absence. Naruto tends to outshine the other characters with his ability to create a changed, and better, perspective (even while sometimes his instincts and need to provide 100% protective support to Sasuke can be a weakness). In his and the others thankfully limited absence, we have the opportunity to see their partners strenghts and weaknesses all the more clearly -- and they shine as well. I particularly loved Kakashi's walking around to check on everyone, and avoid the emptiness of his room. The return of "sensei" in Sasuke's address (and Shikamaru's) and mother's attitude was a relief -- even if the two might still misunderstand, in part, the other's motives in the gym, it shows the strength of their relationship. It is also wonderfully true to life as we often have misunderstandings that are never fully resolved, but need not be for healthy relationships to remain strong.

I fell a couple of chapters behind but this was a nice pick-me-up at the end of a long week.
Keep up the hard work and if you need to take a week off, I think all your fans will survive... I think...
But as always the story is perfection covered in awesome sauce! Waiting for more--

I apologize for not reviewing the last two chapters, everyone seemed at such a loss and not themselves at all so I was really waiting to see how they would begin again. I'm very glad that sasuke is going to unpod the children..I think seeing how they each handle this situation will help to define their personalities even more. I was wondering how this would affect In and En and their relationship with Uchiha so I can't wait to see more of their interaction with the crew. Neji has really stepped up and I think we're really starting to see how strong he can be...a little curious about tatsuji..since we don't know that much about him except that he might possibly be insane, but loyal....sooo I can't wait to read the next chapters to come...and what I find most surprising is when the bombs went off..Deirdre didn't cross my mind but as soon as his name was mentioned my thoughts flew back to him and the Warren...very nicely done.. :) ....and I hate orchimaru..he sucks...lol.

Amazing! Space Queen that was a lot of people you covered! I loved every bit of it:) I think I like En-san and In-san. It was funny when they agreed that they don't have the same taste in men:) I see Neji with new shiny eyes. He has filled in for Iruka-sensei wonderfully. I hope they will get another C-san for Tatsuji and the others. Konohamaru might want to see someone until he fines his mate. You know I always love how you bring new but old character in and Deidara was perfect. I hadn't thought about how this is his signature! No twist need on him:) He's a crazy bomber already. There hasn't been anyone who I hated more than Orochimaru. He just creeps me out. His tounge is pretty sexy but nothing else:) Sorry I'm getting off track:) ~Bowing~ Wonderful as always ^_^

it was interesting that it was Kurenai rather than Asuma who bought it in this one. A nice twist.
There is so much to think about, so much going on... and I like Shika's views on the Snuffers. no more... ever.
I do worry about that guy though, the soft spoken one. Will they need another like c san to help... though that would hurt to. Maybe a similar idea but a differnt approach? I don't know.
At any rate, they're coping for now.
I hope things get better for the Zetsues and they find someone who'll accept them both.
