I love your rewritten endings. The original version seemed so abrupt and unrealistic. Because, Naruto would never let Sasuke leave no matter the circumstance. The new ending feels more thought out and simply moved me. I'm neither a fan of happy or sad endings. Just good ones. The last line will stay with me always because of the vision it provokes. Naruto wandering the world, carrying a wound that never heals, and becoming just as jaded as his master, and probably meeting someone that reminds him of himself that maybe will change that. Yes, I loved your work and your new ending because I can picture so much more than that. I love ending that move me in such a way and inspire my imagination. Thanks!

I loved all 'three' endings but I must say the first was the best.

omg i can't believe you are actually going to rewrite the ending...wow...i liked this story and the ending did break my heart, but i thought it was clever, it wasn't your typical "they lived happily ever after" ending...so maybe you should make it an alternative ending and still leave the other ending up, instead of replacing it altogether....that way you have an angsty and a "happy" ending.....and readers can chose which one they want to read.

It was a pretty good story up till the end. I guess I can't imagine Naruto to be the kind of person that would let Sasuke and Kakashi leave and not go with them. He wants people to acknowledge him and Kakashi and Sasuke are to important to him, I don't think he would just let go of them that easily, And why would he marry Sakura if he was in love with Sasuke. To me the ending really fell flat.

I love the story but have to admit, the ending fell flat for me. I don't see Naruto really not chasing Sasuke. Would he honestly let the one he loves just slip through his fingers? Same mistake Kakashi made. In the end, he told Sasuke in the series that he couldn't be Hokage if he left his friend behind. Top it off, marrying Sakura...that's someone I wouldn't trust either. And the village..drove away two people who meant something to him.
