Wow... So intense chapter 19. Hm... what Gaara had to survive in his childhood is nod easy to conquer. Even after many decades, scars are always there.

Intense chapter. Kiba's really a bloody saint wanting to deal with Gaara's baggage...most people would run for the hills so I really admire Kiba here.

This last chaoter was so lovely. It was sad, raw, and sweet. You have got to be one of the greatest writers ever.

SAVED! Oh, thank GOD! But now what? I say, the tough stuff begins now. I sure hope Kiba is ready.

Gaara's pretty lucky eh? He's got Jody on one side and Kiba on the other, holding him up to the light. Bless them all.

Caught up at last! Now I shall attempt to sort out my thoughts and hope the review does your fic a modicum of justice.
First of all, I feel I must point out that never in my life have I been so aware of my hormones! Geezus. It's like I'm a teenaged boy. Seriously. Lol. (crawls out of the gutter, dusts off but looks back over shoulder longingly)
One of the reasons this fic has captured me so is your ability to portray such depth of emotion in a not so stable mind through Gaara. So complex and painful a struggle, it both amazes and pulls at my heart. When he lost it over Kiba's car getting trashed it was as though the proverbial lightbulb blinked on and bright understanding simply flooded over him. He realizes, I care about this person. Intensely. And with that comes the boatload of guilt. In Gaara's mind, getting involved with Kiba means possibly hurting him... whether it's by his own hands or not. I love his sudden, overwhelming protectiveness but dearly hope he doesn't let his fears make his decisions for him. Trust is a four letter word to Gaara but Kiba IS strong enough for him. For both of them. Like Kiba said, if it's hard, then it's worth it. Amen!
    *crawls back into gutter*

Last night I discovered your fiction at y!Gal and joined only to see that you have posted here as well. I began R&B late, only getting as far as the second chapter (brain knows sleep is overrated but my body made the decision for me). Finally finding time to return to Monoshizukanohi, I get to ch.4 and love love love it. I immediately told myself to stop, take a deep breath and pay my respect where it's due. Hence, my probably lengthy and more than likely gushy review. Lol The first few chaps reeled me in with the intenseness of Gaara's life experiences and hardships. I mean, wow! Could feel as though I myself sunk down into the same darkness right along side him. That's a cold, cold place to be when you find yourself not caring whether or not life goes on. I definitely cheered when things began to turn around for him. If ever someone deserved the good things in life, it'd be he! And to potentially share them with our "hotness on steroids" otherwise known as Kiba... Oh ho, yes. Cannot *wait* for that. The anticipation is both agonizing and wonderful. And then comes the beautifully written chapter of our dear Monoshizukanohi citizens at night. That was pure genius. Having them all listen to the same program concurrently gave a sense of "community" in way that nothing else could have. You pulled it off effortlessly. ^_^ And momentarily gave me a sweet sense of omnipresence. Such an alluring and infinitely intriguing way to bring the town together. ; ) I honestly get lost in another place reading your work (has already read the Bleach fics but is only now reviewing *hides*) and find my face inches from my tiny iPhone screen. Before I continue on with ch5, I will promise to review after I'm caught up. I realize, although I'm not a writer, that reviews play a part in what make the fanfiction world go round. I'll also admit that I might do whatever it takes for more because I'm simply dying  to see an update for "Getaway". Damn those evil cliffies. Talk about edging in a whole new way. *needs relief* But I'll wait patiently. May your muses get down and dirty with you, soon. ~ C.

Wow, there are so many chapters since I read it :) I am glad that eventually Kiba and Gaara found some mutual language if that is possible but they would manage. I can't wait to see what will happen next.
