Kiba is awesome!! I think he's my new favorite character. He's a good human/hybrid..even though he knows that Kabuto did some horrible things, he still was at some point loyal to him. Loyal enough to not want him dead. Kiba's little note saying he killed the foetuses because it was kinder was poignant. The saddest thing in this fic was the senseless deaths of the little mink hybrids...reading that scene made me really sad. And now Itachi will be reunited with the new Uchiha crew.

Gaara getting embarassed over Haku's butt is so endearing. I think I like the idea of Haku being his mate. As for Kiba, he sounds like such a sweetie!! His co-existing relationship with Kabuto is strange yet they probably trust each other...I hope he'll be able to escape with Itachi!

Oh my God this story is addictive. Staying up til the early hours of the morning reading it and then reading what I couldn't get to the next day when I'd only meant to read a couple of chapters - that kind of addictive. I'd seen this pop up as it was updated in the Naruto section and resisted reading it at first as it was a long WIP; I've gotten into long WIPs before only to find they're unfinished and apparently abandonded so I can be wary of them. I finally caved though and I'm so glad I did. Now I have to resist squealing every time I see there's a new chapter lol!

I love how you write the characters, building their personalities and relationships and how you make use of them as well. The world you've created is very imaginative and real, it's easy to become immersed in it. So much in this story has had me giggling or nearly crying, from Gaara's constant passing out (it probably shouldn't be so funny, but it really is) to Shikamaru and Neji's relationship. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this next.

For the "Gaara's mate" choices (I can't *wait* to see the interactions for that!) I know he is paired with Lee a lot in fics and they make a good (if slightly odd) couple. If Gai's cells were some of those in the ones stolen they could use them to make a clone and then Lee would literally be Gai's clone! *snerk*

Sumaru/Gaara - Sumaru greatly admires Naruto as a warrior and could admire Gaara as well as another berserker fighter; that admiration could grow to more. Though it would have to be handled so that he doesn't see Gaara as a Naruto replacement. Also they are both so socially awkward. (I thought it was Sai at first when I was reading about him, with some artistic liberties taken, great use of a minor, lesser known character.)

Itachi/Gaara - Just because. Heheheh. But they do have the "fathers were assholes" thing in common and I think are somewhat similar in personality. Itachi could teach Gaara about sex and I don't think Gaara would take any of Itachi's shit. It could lead to some explosive sex (and fights, which could lead to more sex).

Can't think of many more characters that haven't been used (I'm rubbish with remembering names) Sai or a member of Akatsuki maybe?

And yay! Kiba! Can't wait to see what you've got in mind for him! Sorry long review heheh. Will be looking forward to (and squealing over) another update! ^__^

Kiba is fiesty as usual ^_^ I look forward to Gaara having a mate. Haku may be a good choice, because Haku need someone to care about and he seems more willing to teach someone how to love him :) Kisame belongs to itachi so Haku will need someone.

Okay so I was running behind and I just got updated on the last two chapters...I've been doing a bit of my own stuff...and can I say again OMG!!! KIBA YES....I hope Itachi is redeemed and ends up with Kiba, and that leaves an opening for a HakuKisame pair...and for Gaara....well his fight with Kimimaro in the manga was epic and I think Kimi would be a good match for him..Kimimaro was picked up by Oro on the streets after his family was all killed so that could be a good choice...Oh well Kimi is one of my fave's I use him a lot in my fics.

Okay well again I'm always humbled by your work...it's awesome...can't wait to read more.

I like your story, there aren't many sci fi crosses with anime that seem to work for me so keep up the good work.
The pairing with gaara for me would be the obvious lee, which I have seen work well in other fics, but you might also try Sai since in the anime he seems to have problems with emotions too. This might give gaara and sai some common ground. Thanks for a great story.

I am looking forward to reading Kiba's development. I really liked him here. Especially that last part where he was like do I look like I have stupid tatooed to my forehead. I am not going in there with you! I have to say the Uchiha brothers have to be two of the most sympathetic villians I have ever encountered. I always end up rooting for them!!!Thnaks for the update.

rock lee. i've always loved that pairing... and i believe you could write him very well. i like what you've done so far with the rest of the crew. lee is very strong.. and it would be interesting to see how you develop him.

on the other hand... kimimaru the bone boy... whom gaara killed and lee fought, now that would be truly interesting too. however i love lee and gaara together. but kimimaru would be an interesting choice too.

or he could turn out to be yet another experiment as well...

Sai and Gaara.
Sai is emotional and has an individual persona, but as seen in the manga, Sai is also emotionally primitive. In the series he was trained to be stoic and strictly rational, but has developed and grown into his own mindset and personality. As such, he would parallel Gaara and be able to understand his limited emotional responses and not shock the poor guy too much.

Moreover, Sai is a very sexual character- he loves talking about dicks. @_@ lol. Gaara, just beginning to understand what it is to be a responsive and emotional creature is not grounded enough to fully understand complex committed relationships and love. He is just beginning to understand his sexuality and desires. Sai I'm sure would be willing to lead a hand in that endeavor. Gaara would experience lust for the first time and Sai would connect to someone who is as emotionally underdeveloped as himself. They could start with a strictly lust based relationship and grow to be companions, friends, and then mates! Starting with the fucking and end with the loving. They would be the opposite of Neji and Shika.

Also Naruto is friends with both characters in the series and often is there for them. He could continue to be a friend to both and help them grown and learn. Naruto could treat the budding relationship between Gaara and Sai as a practice run for being a parent because those two boys are obviously going to require alot of patience and care. They will have so many questions and are unsure about so many things- including themselves. Naru and Sasu could help provide guidance and stability as well as practice their ability to communicate and teach.
