Sasuke's birthday: If Naruto had actually been able to go through with his original plans for Sasuke's birthday, I can't help but think Sasuke would have spent much of the time wondering if it meant anything or if Naruto just didn't realize how date-like it was. (of course, friends could do all those things, too, but with Sasuke knowing how he feels about Naruto... and if there were ballroom-type dancing involved.. ^^) His original plans were very sweet. Silly Naruto, you can't see how much you love Sasuke?

    The effort made for Sasuke's birthday was also sweet and a bit amusing, but I totally empathized with Sasuke the whole way through. (I was sad when the mothers said Sasuke was too old for cake and candles, too. You're never too old for cake and candles. :/ ) And when Sasuke cried, I cried too. ;_;

I'm glad that Sasuke has people to talk to about his feelings for Naruto.....I just hope that Naruto accepts him for who he is and that he gives up on trying to get him together together with Sakura...I really want them to end up together in this story.

ha! I am always on board. Although sometimes I just open all the story updates on the site in new tabs so that I can read them later when I'm on my laptop but not near internet. (Ex: Lunch!) In those cases, no reviews. Oh well.

Anyway, keep up the great work.

Aww. Such a sad Sasuke. Too many memories and he can't quite enjoy himself, but then again, its his party and he can cry if he wants too. ;)

sasuke and naruto's little head to head about the love subject makes it kinda sad how they each veiw things. but i like hearing what their feelings are towards many of the things you've written them discussing. i can really see that you keep the characters in their personalities in order very well, naruto's great being a bit more mellowed out.
the letter that sasuke wrote cracked me up. i can't wait to see if sakura writes back to him or naruto complaining that sasuke's lost his mind lol.
i'm glad sasuke was able to make naruto join the same-sex competition dance group. wonder if they'll make new friends that sasuke can learn to understand his feelings from more and naruto acturally realize if he feels the same towards sasuke.
i hope you can understand all that i typed heh-heh i'm english and i don't even think i understood everything i just typed. ^^ anyways great job i look forward to the next week when you might post another. XD

Wow, it's been awhile since I've had time to read, and there was much to catch up on! I'm still immensely enjoying this story. Naruto and Sasuke's ways of thinking due to being brought up as ninjas, compared to those of the citizens of Music Town, is always interesting to me. The dance classes and everything that has been happening there are probably my favorite parts lately. I also like the way Sasuke's realizations and acceptance about himself and his feelings for Naruto is progressing--even if Naruto is still being quite oblivious! It's amusing but also frustrating! lol Naruto can sometimes be so astute when it comes to understanding people, but only when he's trying to find some understanding, I think. Sasuke being gay is obviously not the first explanation he would jump to for his strange behavior, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how you work up to him finding out.

These last two chapters, with Sakura's letter mentioning Hinata, and Naruto and Sasuke's subsequent conversations and replies, kind of helped reconcile my disappointment in Sakura. Also, Naruto's feelings on the matter of Hinata were great to read. Too bad he didn't have the heart to let her down, the way Sasuke decided he should to Sakura. I'm glad Sasuke decided to tell Sakura he's gay (his first letter was most amusing and very Sasuke-like, but I'm glad he decided to be a bit nicer about it lol). I agree that it would be much easier to tell her than Naruto at this point--but now I'm wondering what Sakura's reaction will be, and if she will make any mention of it to Naruto in her next letter. O_o I guess I can only wait to see!

(and, yes, as for Sakura's current development in the manga, it is definitely extremely disappointing to me. I've had to take a small break from the manga so I can separate myself from those feelings and take it less personally, as Sakura had replaced Hinata in my favors since Part 2 started--and now I've been disappointed by both of them. I must remember it's not the characters' fault, but Kishimoto's lack of female understanding lol. Now that Sasuke seems to be showing back up, though, I think I'll catch up again. :p)

i freaking love this story! i read the whole story in one full day! it was great and i enjoy this plot so much. you have a very unique writing style which makes me jealous lol. i hope that you post another chapter quickly so i can eat it up in a heartbeat. somewhere in there i was coming to the conclusion that you'd get sasuke and naruto dance together and when they actually started i got excited. im not much of a sex-scene person so i really do get into your plot, i works well with your style. anyhow update soon!! XD

Oh I'm thinking Sasuke is going to hit the roof when he realizes that Hinata wants to marry the dobe....hmmm? I wonder if this will finally help figure out how he feels about Naruto and if he will finally tell Naruto and Sakura that he is gay?? Can't wait to read next chapter

I haven't read a naruto fanfic in about a year, but I decided to pop in and reacquaint myself with the fandom. I'm glad I did, your story is very different from anything I've read. I think the distinction comes from the setting and Naruto's characterization. He seems so confused and aimless! I'm accustomed to a more decisive Naruto who knows exactly what he wants, but I suppose that's part of his being more mature?

The plot really seems to be at somewhat of a standstill for me because they aren't making plans and there doesn't seem to be any development in the relationship. Everything seems so ambiguous and up in the air that I keep expecting something to happen and it never does. Why do they keep beating around the proverbial bush? Are they scared or too comfortable to make any plans? The situation in Knoha seems to become progressively abstract and distant. Don't they have any sense of priority? It's frustrating and I really want to know what happens! They won't just stay there in domestic bliss, totally ignoring the problem, will they?

    Goodness that was long.

A blank review? It probably means that I am on a laptop leaching free wifi off strangers and my signal cut off mid-review posting. I have no idea what I probably wrote, but be assured, it was all good things.

    Keep up the good work!

Eeeee~~! I don't have much time to leave a proper review and am a little too giddy to put my feelings into words, but &hearts&hearts&hearts

The dance class was almost unbearably cute. I loved it, and don't at all mind all the detail! It makes it all the better!

(and as for what I expected from Sakura, I'm not sure. Something more than just 'I love you' would have been more fulfilling to my feelings towards her character, but like I said, with how Sakura is in current manga, I don't think what you wrote was OOC. It was probably incredibly IC, actually. So no worries. :D)

I love the conflicting emotions swirling around them. I'm glad the the instructor showed them that they are still men even if one if leading. They both want to be in each others arms and it's like this is the only way for them to do it without feeling uber awkward lol. I love deatail I don't know about everybody else but I love this chapter ^_^

That was great. The tension between them is still there, rather it wanes then comes back full force. And Naruto... dear when are you going to let go of the idea that Sasuke is in love with Sakura when he obviously isn't? But I guess it's like... overcoming the fact that Sasuke who could have gotten everything he wanted (the girl, the glory, and the praise) seems so adamant of not really wanting it at all. Plus that mental hump of 'he doesn't want Sakura and I'm getting the impression that he might... nope. Can't want me. Straight, like me, honest' and the desire to fit in. And all these little mental praises towards his physical attributes that sound like statements of fact and yet can be taken as slight grudging admiration.

And Sasuke swinging his hips? Yes. I agree. More of that.
