The image of Kakashi sitting on the ground surrounded by fabric and thread with a very intense look on his face just strikes me as very sweet :)
They probably change in front of each other all the time but when your partner gives you something special it changes everything which is obvious by just how intensely Kakashi was watching, you could just tell they were going to miss those reservations ^_^
