I haven't read something this good in years. I feel terrible, though, because, being a sensitive reader that's easily knocked about by plot twists, I started skimming around chap 44 or so to make sense of what was going on. I couldn't sit and wade through it and enjoy it like I did the rest because it bothered me too much. Hopefully by the time you've next updated I'll have rectified that and read the last quarter or so of the fic properly. It deserves at least that.

Simply...amazing.
I cannot find any words other than that.
I'm literally speechless.

It was everything I expected and everything I did not.
I..I.. don't even know what to say.

When ever I read a fanfiction, there's almost always a part where they split for a while and then come back to one another.
That is the highlight of the whole story for me.
And it's the part where I tend to pay very close attention to.
Because, in all break-ups/make-ups, there is always so many emotions shown, and expressed.
So many thing lost and gained.
And so many feelings that you're brain almost goes haywire.

And this one....
Just tops and crushes all the others I've read.
By a long shot.
Naruto was just so.. vivid.
So was Sasuke.
You captured them so well.

-(Naruto is always the one to bottle emotions up, but when the cap comes off, they flow like a river. And he does not show them at any moment. He always has a certain time when he shows it.)

I completely loved the whole elevator scenario.
Completely loved it.

I wanted to point out something that Naruto said, about how some of the most important things in our lives will usually arrive in surprises, is actually very true, because I, myself, have seen it.
I'm glad I am not the only one who sees it this way.

Orochimaru will have an interesting video to see once he sees the surveillance videos. xD

Today was an excellent day. n_n
(and with this chapter, it made it even better!)

AHH! that was so awesome!!!! you have no idea how much i love you! these past few chapters have been so amazing-- i really loved 'and the snake watches snow falling in silence' i dont know what about it was so good after i was done reading it was just like 'whoa that was a sweet one...' lol and i loved the reunion between our two favorite boys... or should i say men?? lol it was so perfect! narutos anger despite his relief in seeing sasuke! it was truely amazing-- ooh and the elevator scene! that was just too good to be true-- it was written so perfect- i almost cried and when they kissed my heart just lept with joy!! so THANKYOU TAHNKYOU THANKYOU!! i absolutely adore you for having written this-- it should be made into a real book!! AHHHHHHH!!!! so cute!!!! I agree with naruto...he is way to used to people flirting with him. I think out of all the characters in your story i think Orochimaru is the most interesting...even more so then crazy Sasuke. You make him sound so evil and creepy but at the same time really pathetic and sad...i don't know if that makes sense but i like the scenes with him.

Man i just about cried in this one and the elevator part was wonderful. I like the sneaky little move with the camera...your imagination never ceases to amaze me.

This is another well done chapter rought with great emotion and a littel more groeth of character for Sasuke. I like that the healing for him has been slow but constant and that he didn't realize it was happening all the time. I like also that he was scared by it and chose to run rather than face and accept it fully at the start. I just noticed that you reply to reviews on LJ. I'm sorry I didn't see it before. I'm glad you took the time to clear up the time jump thing that I thought was a little confusing. I went back and re-read it and have realized it was most likely my own lack of attention to detail. And while I did not like the jumps between Sasuke with Orochimaru and then going back to dtail the sex that led to his fleeing, or rather the things that were happening to Sasuke emotionally during the sex, I did appreciate what you were donig with it. It has all been very nicely done, not rushed, and has indeed become a story of love, the realistic kind, family and self-awareness. Had you changed the character names and descriptions a little and sent it to be published, I would have bought this the moment it came out just from the premise alone. Now that I've read enough of it to keep checking for more constantly, i'm still very happy it's here. I cannot wait to see what you have done with the ending. I read some of the epilogues on the post for FF.net. I wonder if you're going to do anything about that, particularly that there were so many. It seemed a bit strange, a little disconnectd from the rest of it. But I am not worried as this is a phenominal piece. Sorry for the long-winded review. I tend to flesh out comments when I see that the writing is this polished.

Is he telling the truth or is it a lie?? O_O Sasuke *did* say he wanted to go back home... but Orochimaru is eeeevvvviiiillllll ((o_o))

Now things are getting very interesting.

I never thought it was a bomb. ._.
That literally shocked me.
(I thought it was a big gun of some sort, but a bomb?)

Poor Naruto.
All that is on his mind right now is getting back Sasuke.
He's so committed, that he doesn't care that he has to risk his life.
That's what I call true love. n_n

Alright, I'm left at the edge of my seat right now.
I'm going to try very hard to be patient. ;~;

Omg! You just dont know how good you are!!! A bomb... FUCK!!! And Orochimaru being the one who killed Gaara's father. And the the fact that Gaara brought Lee! You're too good. The plan was... Whoo! Amazing. The plot of this story just keeps getting better and better! I cant wait to see the next chapter! Until Friday!!!

Wooooo, awesome update!

Man, immediately after that last sentence I was like "OHMIGAWD, THEY'LL NEVER GET OUT NOW!" (Complete with fail-spelling and everything) but then I thought that Kakashi and Iruka came home late Sunday evening, and Sasuke wasn't home then. But then thy only checked one house... and besides if Sasuke had left early, he'd have had time to come back again. If he even left in the first place, which I'm not even sure I think he did.

And nothing of this relieves my earlier sentiment of "OHMIGAWD, THEY'LL NEVER GET OUT NOW!"

Such a nice chapter ^_^

Aahh.
The coziness. n_n

Whoa, are Sasuke and Naruto dead.
Big time.
I know that if I were in their shoes, my parents would call the cops, and they wouldn't pick me up until the very next day.
(My parents have a weird sense of 'parenting skills')

It's kind of nice to have you father/parental guardian, know that you are truely in love.
For them to know that this is 'the one' for you, and to step aside for you to make the decisions.
Now that is a true gift.

Poor Kakashi.
He has always worried for Sasuke, and now, that the trouble is grave, he is panicking.
I hope he gets some peace of mind soon.

Gah@!!! Time gap!! Time freaking gap!!!!

Last chapter was early early Sunday morning. Iruka and Kakashi got home late Sunday night. I KNEW IT!!! Something horrible has happened!! Gah! Why do you keep doing this to me-- them! I meant them. *ahem.
