Brilliant! I lost another night of my life re-reading this.

You know, Itachi is so f*cking cool in this, have you considered doing an Itachi story? I'm not sure who you would team him with(please not Deraida. If you wanted to do crack, you could team him with Gai... How cool would that be, though? You could torture the minions and duckies even more. Just a thought.

I got to the part where Orochimaru licked Naruto's ear and I actually got a chill. Everytime that particular sene passes through my mind I shudder and I swear I can feel someones fingers on my neck.

That was so friggen creepy, and your work is amazing. Keep up the good work. ^-^

Ah, this chapter and the one before it were amazing. All the little moments with a surprisingly endearing young Naruto. He was just like a real child ought to be, not too sensitive or whiny but also light and cute. I was amazed at your ability to depict him in the perfect manner at that age. The interaction between Naruto and Sasuke is dynamic and powerful. I only have one pet peeve about his and any other story that uses it. Naruto only called Sasuke a bastard a few times and before he left the village had already stopped using it in regards to him. Sasuke only called Naruto a dobe ONCE and its meaning really has no context in this story, that being the term 'dead last'. Sasuke doesn't know enough about Naruto at the point in the story he started using it to call him that. But, all in all, one of the best written stroies with some great Naruto and Sasuke inteaction and some wonderful hints at a less than stellar past for Naruto. You also manage to portray Sasuke's onfusion and lack of understanding his and Naruto's relationship really well. I'm looking forward to continuing with this little gem but I had to stop to comment on it now.

Wow! I've been seeing this story on reclists everywhere and I finally started reading it sunday night, knowing I had to get my butt up and go to work the next morning. For the past three nights I've been up reading this and finally finished it last night but because it was so late, I didn't get a chance to review.

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful piece! It made me love Itachi even more than I already did! He was so devious, and the emails/text messages, those had me DYING laughing. The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke had my attention the whole time, but I love the actions in the Demilitarized Zone! The duckies assaulting each other and launching stuff over cubicals, that reminds me of my job when things get slow. I even love their titles! Lou, Minions and duckies! Those are the best!!!

There really aren't words for what I feel about this story other than I absolutely love it!

    Amazing work!

On FF.net somebody has a story up with the same title as this one and its written in Portuguese.
Since i dont speak that language, i'm not sure if they are stealing your story
or not but some of the words and format look very similar to yours.
Not sure if you knew that or not...just thought i would let you know.
I didnt know how else to get in contact with you about it.

It's about time I reviewed this absolutely brilliant story, and so I have to say I have already read it more then twice and it's my favorite Naruto story with For the Love of His Son tightly behind. Your Itachi is excellent, I haven't encountered a better implemented Itachi in any story so far, and every scene he was part of was pure divine joy!...especially those sotfty glimpses between his cold emotionless exterior and stoic-ness and imposing sadistic character you shaped. I want more.

You really carried it out perfectly, really, wet dream of every Itachi admirer (though, I wouldn't have said no to a gay version as well; that would be Celestial).

Oh, and aside from the more angsty ambience it had, For the Love of His Son's Itachi was so twisted and wicked and cruel that I couldn't worship him as much as at The DMZ. But then, there were other terrific elements to it that I will go into detail when I will review it as well.

Damn, I had so much more to say during the reading... **trying to remember**

Oh, yes, your medley of humor, and romance, and action, and suspense and gay sexuality and evilness and family values and sweetness and emotional struggles was fucking incredible; I laughed and cried more then once; you made it very sensible realistic and during it all very sharp and well written and witty. Riveting...

I don’t have enough energy to describe all the things about your NaruSasu but their relationship dynamics were marvelous; I loved the way you built it and their cat and mouse riots were as good as their sappy romantic new couple scenes which I adored.

Oh, there was a scene towards the end, in the conference room when Naruto and Sasuke quarreled about their vocabulary in the conference room and the bedroom; fucking brilliant.

Oh, and Itachi manipulating them to take the step to make their engagement valid was so sweet and did I mention brilliant? :)

Yes, so there were lots of brilliant features and development… like the emails! They were most definitely brilliant; Narutos animated and humored ones and in contrast, Itachis…dare I say…playfully evil ones and Sasukes terse ones. Brilliant.

I hope you will continue writing, I think you are very talented. Thanks!

    Merav.

Before I re-read this made of awesome fic, I wanted to take a moment to tell you that I read out the emails in this fic to some friends when they came over, because I found them so very funny.

They're not in to the fandom, they don't know the characters, but they laughed their asses off anyways.

You won't believe how many times you made me laugh through this story. Or the weird noises I ekpt making. Or how many times I actually CLAPPED MY HANDS in joy (damn, that was so weird).

Ah you did such great work! I enjoyed it so much. Thankyou!
(next time I read this fic I will probably give you some quotes; I hope, I'm just too tired now since it's in the middle of the night and I've been reading this the whole afternoon. *smile)

    //Very contented reader. *wink*

This fic is so INCREDIBLE! I have never laughed so hard in my life and it had everything--from the light hearted humor back in camp to the accident and finally the romance/sex (mmm!) I enjoyed it so much and the flashbacks were amazing, how you had everything tie in and follow up. Your narration is mind blowing and I have to say my favorite part of this fic was the unique messages Itachi sent back and forth with Naruto and Sasuke. Hahahahahhahaa god! But I thought he was going to hook up with someone not having a sad, wifeless past....ah well. Enjoyed every second of this fic and I'm glad Sasuke and Naruto stayed engaged and Naruto's parents lived. Gai is truly a master at his craft.
