“You know, we can always change direction and search for them and ask them why they have abandoned the pursuit.”
I adored this line because I can just see Suigetsu saying it in a tone that a mother would to their three year old. Cracks me up.
Again I am amazed at how much I like Team Hebi in this. They are brilliant. It's funny that Sasuke surrounds himself with people so intent on needling him.
Oh and when Sasuke says that he would rather wonder why his clan were all meant to die in response to 'did you ever wonder' questions... just another perfect Sasuke moment in my mind. He really is a black and white character. Good/bad. Friend/Enemy. Purpose/Everything else.
    Another excellent chapter. ;)

Hmmm... interesting proposistion that Naruto is faced with. How is it that door #2 from all bad guys is always 'death'? ;)
Again... I adore your insight into the relationship that Sasuke and Naruto have. How differently Naruto approached his 'friendship' with Sasuke compared to everyone else. I'm glad to see that someone else thinks of these things.
As far as the 'raven' thing... in manga Itachi turns into a whole bunch of ravens at will... so I alway associate him with the raven... So, I don't really know where I was going with this thought, it's late, I might need sleep, but I'm glad the raven is someone else. :)
    Awesome chapter. Until the next...

Duh, duh, duh! Choices, choices, what will Naruto do? If it came right down to it and he literaly had to join them or die right then, what would he choose? Hmmm. Honestly I wouldn't want him to die, but if he joined sasuke might have a problem with it. ;P A big problem with it.
Great chapter can't wait for more.

Well, I totally sympathize with Naruto. Part of me agrees with his friends and teachers and yeah, they are helping him out. But the other side is yelling at the injustice of it all. Whenever something goes wrong it is always Naruto that steps up and kicks ass and saves the day. He doesn't need to be saved, coddled or treated like a toddler. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
    Anyway, as always, lovely update.
    Until the next.

This is a very well written. You have taken the time to explain the characters and their motivations which really helps when the two characters begin to interact. To many authors leave out the back story, leaving the readers trying to figure out how the main characters arrived at their destination and why they act the way they do. I am curious if this story will continue along with the manga in regards to Jiraya's fate and the battle between Itachi and Sasuke. Following the manga, You can see how both characters are so alike in their backgrounds.

This story gets better and better if I do say so myself. What a wonderful chapter. I love the 'team' your building within the Hebi. And poor Sasuke... he thinks Naruto abandoned him... NO! It wasn't Naruto! Stupid teachers, stupid village, stupid Naruto's friends... *Kicks dirt and huffs*
    Until the next!

Very interesting. Naruto took the whole thing in stride though, didn't he? All this time he thought it was about Sasuke and really, it doesn't sound as though Sasuke is even ON the priority list.
That said there was so much feeling in this chapter. Poor Naruto. Kakashi was written very well. I like a 'caring' Kakashi even when he's not giving Naruto what he wants.
Can't wait to see where you take us with the next chapter... until then.

Awwwee, poor Naruto. He is so alone. No one understands. They all lie to him. Poor, poor Naru-chan.
Great chapter, can't wait for more.

"It's about the Uchiha boy.." Brilliant.
I can't wait for Naruto to ditch all his stupid 'teachers' and 'friends'.
Oh, and I didn't get to review last chapter, but I loved the whole revenage conversation. I was well done. Showed Sasuke's inner moral compass which you hardly ever get to see. And to think that it is probably similar to Naruto's... and they might be the only two.
    Can't wait for more.
