when i saw the short chapter i thought it was a mistake so i didn't read it at first i apolijize i did not realize that it was done on purpose. i get the feeling that sasuke is going to abandon his mission to confront his brother for a while to go looking for naruto. is sasuke going to turn up at the confrontation between at---and jiraiya looking for naruto and he not be there or is sasuke going to meeet up with naruto first then the other konoha ninjas. i wonder who the guy is that is supposed to be jiraiya's friend (is he really a friend). i can't wait to see the next update.

I wouldnt worry to much about the sensies not telling Naruto about Sasuke and trying to rewrite that bit for a couple reasons. One, people misread things all the time. If you didnt intend for them to see Sasuke, but Naruto knows he was there. It would be natural for Naruto to mistrust them after they withheld information from him and assume they are withholding information about Sasuke. Two, if your intention is to have Naruto disillusioned because he feels that he really hasnt made any progress with the people he thought truly cared for him, and that all they can see is a demon vessel, then having them come off a little cold would reinforce his decision to leave. I guess what I am saying is that it works.

There is a thing called cruel and unusual punishment and this stellar little blurb of a chapter is the definition of the phrase... To leave us like that. WHY? WHY? WHY?
Sasuke makes an unimaginable announcement... your beautifully written Team Hebi have his back and then... 'click here to review'.
So mean... so very, very mean.
That said... can't wait for the next.

i read all 17 chapters of your story and i have to say that i like your outlook of the characters and what they are going through. i was kind of surprised when sakura let naruto go with out any fuss or without him haing to knock her out like sasuke since she keeps saying that she doesn't want to lose him as well why did she let him go. also why didn't kyuubi mention that it was sasuke who saved him but only mneetioned that he was there does kyuubi lose all sense of himself when naruto gets more tails. is kakshi and the others keeping the secret about sasuke so that naruto won't go after him (which is tacky because he saved him). i can't wait to see the next chapter.

Excellent several chapters that I haven't been able to review.
For some reason this last one with Sakura really rubbed me wrong... I wanted to hit her when she said 'don't leave me too'. It felt like she was laying on unnecessary guilt... So manipulative and selfish. As if Naruto's hopes, dreams and feelings held no weight.
However... I am having one of 'those' days were maybe my personal attitude toward 'users' is affecting my judgement.
As always, you know I love this story. :)

Thanks for another chapter. It is kinda funny about the meeting between Sakura and Naruto. Thanks for clarifying the last bit in the previous chapter. It makes sense now.

Liked this chapter. I thought the part about good being a matter of perception was well written and thought out. The very last part confused me a bit. The part about sacrificing himself for the sake of his clan and being better than Itachi. I would think it goes a bit further than that. I have always felt Sasuke was after answers in addition to revenge. Why would Itachi betray him? Why did Itachi feel the need to destroy the entire clan. Was everything prior to the massacre and act? Was there ever any real family bonds? It is very hard to accept a member of your family as an evil prick. Trust me, I know how that one feels.

Awesome chapter. I love that Kyubi doesn't hate Naruto. Can't wait for Naruto and sasuke to meet. I wonder why they didn't tell Naruto that Sasuke saved him. Well I can guess why but, I'll have to wait to find out for sure.

Is Kakashi completely out of his mind? Naruto can count on one hand how many people actually care! Light half means he'll be loved. Oh my gods, I swear that Jonin is smoking crack or something.

awwwwwe. that was so cute. I loved Juugo's sad story and how Sasuke tried to comfort him. It seems that Juugo and Naruto have a lot in common.
I can't wait to read more.
